Would be nice if I could open html files in Safari from the app              Gets the job done
Image Previews in list view over SFTP please FileBrowser does this Welldesigned App A file application that utilizes the gestures of the iPad is important I would recommend it Having that said I would like to see media previews for SFTP shares I know that might be asking alot considering how SFTP shares work but I think it would be very useful to see previews of pictures if I want to an easilyaccessible toggle switch would be niceshutting off for quick browsing turning on when seeing pics is important        Almost
Worth it                 Worth every penny
On both iOS and Mac this is the one to have Every serious developer or even web designer either already uses Transmit or lives in a cave                 Transmit is the gold standard
Great application works as described                 Why would you need cloud drive when you have this app
Reliable and fast browsing and transfers for Macs Doesnt have SMB support for Windows but not a big deal                 Great overall
Writing to express my gratitude for an amazing app experience I hardly write reviews but felt compelled to do so in this case This app is well designed easytouse and packs in a lot of functionality Seamless transition from the desktop to mobile                 Easy to use no fuss
This is a very good app and I like the way the program is layed out and functions but that is only if I could actually use it without an annoying error popup menu being displayed each time I try to view a directoryfolder while in passive mode The biggest disappointment for me about this is the developers progress on fixing known bugsissues Several months ago I had brought this error popup issue to the developers attention We swapped numerous emails back and fourth over a two or three week span answering several questions of the developers and after not making any progress I gave up on trying to help due to frustration and time restrictions on my end Here we are now at least four maybe five updates later the developers knowing about the issue and it still hasnt been fixed When logging into the server it makes the connection fine with no errors however when trying to view the first several directories I get an error message of Could not retrieve file listing for domainnamecomdirectory Server said a No such file or directory Error 130 Remote directory failed OK Each time the error appears I have to acknowledge the error by pressing OK and then back up one level and then try to view the directoryfolder again Sometimes two or three times on the same directoryfolder before I will get a list of contents and no error message If the developers fix this issue I will give this app five stars           ONGOING ISSUE STILL NOT FIXED
Im desperate for an iOS equivalent of the Finder Transmit delivers on that end beautifully for the most part It is versatile and well executed I love how integrated it is via Sent To Open In However I would love to suggest tweaks 1 I wish there was a thumbnail icon view Its a pain to browse a folder of images Movie art would be great too MP4m4v 2 Better movie playback in Transmit Starting with removing the header titlecontrols which are always visible Perhaps swipe to fast forward rewind 3 More intuitive file controls The checkmark is not intuitive Why not have swipe controls on per file basis as is he norm in ios              Great Start Some Minor Annoyances
Lots of other file storage apps support connecting to Sharepoint via webdav This would be great     Needs full webdav support
Ive been using Transmit as m y FTP client on my Macs for years Unfortunately FTP on iOS hasnt been so easy for me Prior to Transmit I tried at least a dozen different iOS FTP apps and none of them worked with our corporate SFTP setup Before shelling out 10 for Transmit I sent an email to Panic asking if they could check it for me I gave them some temporary credentials and they did They found that it didnt work Thats when Panic earned my loyalty They didnt stop at saying no it doesnt work they dug into it and figured out why The next update they included a fix Works great Thats how you become a great software company                 Panic goes the extra mile
Apple removed the ability to have Transmit open files in other apps This app is now completely useless     Not able to send files to other apps
Love this app Im able to use it to monitor submissions my class makes to an FTE site It is super fast and easy to configure Two minor wishes first the ability to tap a column heading and organize by date or attribute setting is available but takes several clicks and second the ability to sync an FTE folder with a dropbox folder Its available on the Mac These are minor quibbles the app is well worth the 10                 Done well
Bullets No online service integration No standard lan protocol implementation No folder favorite option that I see at a glance Weak media recognition No direct access to photos for batch uploading within the app Must use share sheet and switch Leading to limited local iOS management Panic sync may be fine for server details but doesnt help manage online services or multi platform users 0 Doesnt use iCloud Keychain a bit arrogant to think youll make something more secure on one hand but appreciated that theres no trust on the other interface is relatively familiar but still needs a bit of refinement Review Its a very very limited app that is extremely overpriced and banking on the panic name Gets one star for the interface but is extremely inferior to stratospherix file browser in basically every way Even drag and drop is weak in folder selection ie dragging to the drop down doesnt exist Right now its a bought and will have to check if its useful later It doesnt come close to replacing other apps like filebrowser Id guess he high ratings are Mac only users who dont need real LAN service Many apps offer great for for less money with equal or better interfaces at a lower price This one right now is disappointingly nothing special The days for a predominantly from and WebDAV app are past Especially on iOS a more kitchen sink with media is also needed Saying its a one stop file manager as they do is extremely misleading Get some preconfigured cloud services please panic If not samba and hfs support     Extremely limited and disappointing
Havent submitted a review for Transmit for iOS Whatve I been doing all my life Incredible app This is truly an FTP client for iOS                 Transmit is awesome
This is the best iOS FTP app I have used I have used transmit for Mac for years and this is just what I needed for my huge iPhone 6 plus                 Best iOS FTP app
Love the app bought this and prompt ssh by panic Very well polished software looks gorgeous on my 6 Worth every penny                 Excellent FTP client
Well worth the price I have used Transit FTP for Mac for years The iPhone version is just as powerful full featured and reliable as the desktop version Great support of Amazon S3 too This software is incredible It may seem pricey but if you rely on full featured FTP andor Amazon S3 access this app is worth gold                 A home run
Apple has this thing called iCloud get with the times and stop asking us to trust you with our data While youre at that how about iCloud support for the desktop version Kill Panic Sync        Not bad but
Extremely powerful and wellmade file management app Cannot recommend this enough                 Amazing
The UI is clean and well laid out sharing files off an SFTP server is easy and just works I do have several IPv6 only servers that I simply cant connect to however hence the 3 stars Prompt 2 also by panic handles these servers just fine           Clean UI No IPv6 support
A very good app Your iPhone is incomplete without it                 Indispensable
Big files like pictures and music and movies are not stored in Dropbox For all of those things I use transmit Great app Easy to use I always have all of my media with me                 Great for accessing files from home
Thought Panic would sweat the details but the local media player wont 1 Continue playing an MP3 after the phone locks 2 Respond to EarPod controls 3 Remember the play state properly after phone locksleepsome extended time Dropbox does all this and I bought Transmit thinking it would keep me from burning cellular data        Local media viewer limited
I needed an app to edit files that my server hosts on the fly This is NOT the best app for that The text editor does not have a search feature which means it is basically useless for me The app is obviously powerful and well designed however I ultimately went with Coda iOS also designed by panic Coda iOS is an advanced text editor designed for coding but luckily it also has FTP capabilities as well as SSH so you can run commands on your server           Good but not good enough
Lots of polished functionality without feeling bloated                 So great
Updating my former 1 star review for v 110 With the v111 update all my complaints have been fixed and the app now works as expected Thanks to the developers for responding to all the bug reports                 Safe to upgrade bugs fixed in v 111
Absolutely the best ftp client for iOS Glad to hear apple reversed their decision on the send to iCloud feature Impressive you were able to get this version with it included up so quick                 Great
The client is sleek and pretty but its lacking in other areas Id like to see panic sync on the desktop as well otherwise whats the point Also a way to upload a video without recompression And a nice way to upload an entire photo library in bulk Still waiting on update Waste of 10     nice app that could be better
Thanks Apple for allowing Transmit to bring Send To iCloud back Again this is the best FTP app available on any smartphone by far One thing they could do to make it even better Add more builtin compatibility with media files specifically MKV video              Send To iCloud is back
Allows me unprecedented access to all of my files whether in the clouds or on my Macs I just purchased an iPad Air 2 a couple of weeks ago and certainly wish that Id found this app during the first few days Ive not even begun to use the full functionality of Transmit but its already won me over Buy it youll not regret it                 A must have app for any iOS user
I love this app or would if it was stable on my iPhone 6 128gb But it crashes downloading over sftp or when trying to send files to other apps I end up having to do these things using Good Reader Its the most expensive crashy app I own Come on Panic I love you guys but lets see an bug fix update here           Great except for crashes
Due to a bug thats been present for the last three versions it is an incredible hassle to upload files from your camera roll Sign into server click plus select photo It then for no reason renames the file to an illegal format using s and tries to upload the renamed file This of course fails So you have to add to local Rename to a legal name and upload from there This is an embarrassing bug for a 10 app     Fundamental Flaw
This is hands down the best FTPsSFTP app available on iTunes Awesome interface                 Best FTPSFTP app available
On my first use of the app I found the UI very intuitive Better yet kept finding every time I thought I wish it had a feature to the feature existed I especially like the ease with which you can navigate the folder hierarchy                 Nice intuitive flow
But this app just absofreakinglutely nails it Super easy to navigate Obvious methods for setting shortcuts Customizable Just so much fun to use I wish I had more stuff to FTP Maybe I should change the text color on my website from 333333 to 444444 Ahh Thats better Now maybe a slightly larger H1 BTW Im on a boat right now                 I dont normally write app reviews
Transmit outperforms my wildest expectations Beautiful rocksolid and feature rich The iOS 8 extension is a game changer Love it                 Nothing short of magical
This app has saved me so many times Cant recommend it enough                 Transmit
Its amazing how bad ftp apps for iOS have been historically Panic fixed that with Transmit making an app that is not only nice to look at but also does everything I need and then some Being able to utilize the features of iOS 8 does give them an advantage but other updated apps have failed even in that regard so kudos to Panic for doing ftp right and iOS 8 apps right                 Panic fixed an FTPsized hole in the App Store
Love having the ability to SFTP and the like from my iOS devices Keep up the good work Panic                 Another great Panic app
I had been using Transmit on the Mac for a long time and loved it And thats kind of a strange thing to say about a FTP program But its true Its so great Anyway I finally gave in and let myself get sucked into the iPhone vortexand there I was trying to figure out this very strange limited and just plain weird OS on my new phone called iOS Quickly I discovered its glaring limitations and realized I needed some sort of app to transfer files So I found Transmit for iOS At first the interface was confusing to me and I actually had to send the developer an email asking how to do some things I received a prompt response to my dumb lazy question and after a little while I got the hang of it Its really very spiffy It was just so unfamiliar to me I soon became very dependent on Transmit for iOS for transferring files to and from from my Mac and web server Then when iOS 9 came out it broke the share function of the app for a week or so until the app got upgraded and works now I have to say that during that week or so when I didnt have Transmit I felt like a HUGE part of my phone had been taken away from me That is how important it is for me It truly is Awesome                 Awesome
Thanks for restoring send to iCloud etc Transmit works amazingly well and has a very clean intuitive design I would like to see the ability to select multiple files at a time for sharing with other apps but maybe thats a limitation of Apple It would be perfect if this had a desktop companion app that could act as a server provide dynamic DNS initiate direct file transfers to other serversemailetc and render file previews all without first having to download a copy to Transmit                 Great with few shortcomings
It is hard to describe the simple awesomeness of this application I can access my business files via my office servers manage HTML files on my website and upload print production files to our printer Simply put everything works perfectly I cannot find a flaw in this app                 Essential Tool for File Management
Everything this company develops is amazing May be niche or mostly for the nerds but thanks Panic for being so awesome You can believe this app does what it says it does and will be supported in the future                 Panic Makes Great Software
I have been waiting for this for a long time I can edit anywhere anytime Thanks Panic                 Finally
I wrote this is regards to the recent issue with Apple forcing Devs to pull features due to certain policiessome documented some not so much I read a article today Panic was interviewed that discussed this whole iOS feature thing and how the rules are like water completely liquid I bought this app based on one feature which happened to be the feature that was required to be removed This has happened with a few other apps I have purchased and its become some frustrating This troubles me to the point where I will soon table my iOS devices and go back to just using my phone for making calls and reading emails and my laptop will be for everything else The iPad will become a paper weight Im also going to request a refund on all of the apps I doubt it will happen but Im doing it out of principal If everyone else did the same maybe Apple would get their multibillion platinumplated waste together     Not a reflection of Panic but Apple
Id been eyeing Transmit for a while but finally ran into a situation where I needed iOS access to my FTP server STAT Setting up Transmit and Panic Sync took less than 5 minutes Woo hoo                 Insanely Great
Everything works right now fine I am very satisfied thank you                 Thank you guys for getting back iCloud Drive share
Panic Sync is great just waiting for the Mac version to feature sync Looks great performs great price is well worth it                 Great design even better than Mac
I shouldnt have waited so long                 Best FTP client for iOS ever
