TrackPro uses the iPhone`s built-in GPS to accurately record lap times at over 80 North American tracks. Simply mount your iPhone on your car`s windshield, turn on TrackPro, and drive! TrackPro will automatically detect which track you`re running and start the lap timer when you`ve reached 20 mph. Every time you cross the start/finish line, the elapsed time, top speed, and average speed for the lap are automatically recorded in a lapping session. You never need to take your hands off the wheel, or even watch your iPhone while you`re driving! A full history of events, sessions, and laps are saved and easily exported via email so you can save your sessions to your desktop and compare your historical results.

TrackPro has been tested at several road courses across North America by professional drivers running hundreds of laps. Throughout these tests, TrackPro has consistently demonstrated accuracy to within hundredths of a second of timing equipment that costs hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars more than TrackPro.

For best results, you will need to use a mount that securely attaches your iPhone to your car`s front windshield. It is also highly recommended that you charge your iPhone while driving, or at least between sessions, as TrackPro uses more power than most applications due to its extensive GPS usage.

In certain conditions the accuracy of the built-in GPS falls outside the parameters we have set for the start/finish line of a track which results in a missed lap. We`re continually updating track coordinates in our online database, and missing a lap should not happen frequently.

TrackPro is intended for experienced drivers on official road courses, and is no substitute for good driving judgement. TrackPro is not yet currently suitable for karting or short-track racing. It is not recommended to watch your iPhone while driving.

TrackPro requires an iPhone 3G/3GS which has a built-in GPS or an iPod touch with a third-party external GPS. (In both cases we recommend the TomTom GPS cradle for consistent triggered laps)
