I bought this to get autocross and rallycross videos with my iPhone Early versions were Ok but continuous improvements have made the latest version perfect for my needs You set the start and finish coordinates when you walk the course then have only to remember to push the record before each run It automatically trims the video to from just before the start to just after the finish You can choose from multiple data overlay templates that show in various ways your trace speed time and G s You can quickly render selected videos to your photo roll then upload them to YouTube from there Even with just the internal GPS I ve found the times to be quite accurate usually within 1 10th of a second of my official times That means it can be useful as a crude analysis and coaching tool For even sharper analysis you can connect to higher sampling rate external GPS receivers and certain OBDII data tapping devices but I haven t gone that deep yet A solid way to secure your iPhone to the dash or windshield is a must with this app I use a QuadLock phone case and QuadLock windshield suction mount                     Easy high quality race videos with data overlays Rally Dude

works great for the local time attacks was always within a tenth of the track transponder system which wasnt at the exact same point love the way it archives track times using it with a ram mount only issues I had was with video playback through apple TV solution was to render and export the video and play though the native phone vid app                     just what I needed Neecher
