Only shows ships position when actively reporting to AIS Doesn t seem to remember last reported position for very long so the ship is off the map more than it is on Cannot search for a ship by name and find on the map you only get a numeric lat and long not very useful Ship disappears when zooming out This means you need to know exactly where the ship is before you can zoom in enough to find out where the ship is Other free apps seem to do a better job than this app that I paid for Work sometimes LexisLuther
This is an amazing tool to locate a ship in a coverage zone of ocean sea by the identities we know about the ship The app has nice design and works smooth accurate information easy to track ships I m not in the industry any more but find it great to keep an eye on my ship Excellent app carisonlyheal
Purchased full version and it is really interesting for ships in the local waters but falls down with cruise ships of interest by being days behind or not finding the ship at all Grandeur of the sea Celebrity Reflection Brilliance of the sea etc It also seems to just drop out periodically That being said when it does work most of the time it seems to be interesting and useful Depends on your needs as to whether it is worth 6 bucks Does what it should sort of Ratslugger

This is a very professional ship tracking because the program It is very complete Simple interface is easy to use Amazing
If you like sailingthis app is very useful for youwith ityou can find out all the details of the ship and measure the distance to the ships from your position useful

I tried several of the tracking apps and decided on this due to the map and interface I can see activity from Puget Sound and San Francisco but nothing on the southern Oregon coast where I live The company said there was not an AIS Receiver local to me and would I be able to set one up if they provided the equipment I said yes and the station should be sending data by mid July This app and company are awesome Coos Bay Oregon AIS station now active Worth the cost
