Its an ok app and functions alright I guess It just needs to be optimized for iPhone 55s and 66 A company as successful as Rosetta you think they would be smart enough to pay attention to things like software updates and optimization for aspect ratios        Needs Optimization

I downloaded this app and it works well You MUST have already purchased the TotalE software for this app to work Im glad I have it                 Works fine

The only learning mechanic this app offers is pronunciation and because of that it is not very useful For instance I cant practice my pronunciation on my train commute to work and even if I could this app still lacks the other learning mechanics Its only good characteristic is that you can download the lesson so you can use it offline If you are going to subscribe to TOTALe and need to study on the go I recommend using an iPad with the Rosetta Course app It requires a network connection but other than that is is nearly identical to studying on the website     Missing key learning mechanic

I really like this app It is convenient I can do exercises while driving in the sauna at the grocery store even sky diving This is really a great resource              Nice app for on the go

This app functions flawlessly on my iPhone 5 The full content of the Rosetta Stone courses CANNOT I repeat CANNOT be accessed with this app using your Rosetta Stone totale subscription You CAN access vocabulary speech and pronunciation modules but this is not what is desired For the 300 you spend on the totale subscription you expect access to the multiple choice lessons but none are available This app will only show you pictures and play the audio to explain the picture The only interaction with the user is via speech recognition which is not practical in public places like trains planes and buses which is surely where most people including me want to use this app DO NOT BUY A TOTALE SUBSCRIPTION IF YOU PLAN TO USE IT ON AN IPHONE EXCLUSIVELY The totale product is great but when accessed through this app only a horrendously inadequate subset of the content is available Negative 5 stars     PLEASE READ THIS

So if you buy more then 500 dollars worth of software you would still have to pay 25 dollars a month to use an app that does about 70 less then the full computer program And MUST have 3G to be useful Dont even download this and kick yourself for paying for the program The DoD stopped using Rosetta I didnt know why until now Rosetta Stone got greedy There are better products out there anyway Dont feed the beast     Rip off

A wonderful supplement to my online subscription to Rosetta Stone You can download modules for offline use For those complaining about the monthly access fee which begins after your first year is over you are paying a minimal fee per month for 425 minute sessions pet month with a LIVE person something which i find to be an excellent resource as the instructor often twists questions around so it is not quite what you heard in the program i personally love the online program vs the cd package just for the online coaching alone if you tried to do a review with a tutor in person youd be paying way more                 Great supplement to online program

This app should include games There is no reason why it should not have at least 1 or 2 games for practicing the language youre acquiring           Needs Games

Alike everyone else with the same issue I received no instructions on email and password This is strange How are you expected to log on with what please be more specific with the details I tried all of my accounts three including work and nothing Very disappointed definitely leaving a poor impression thus far     Cant log on

Great app It would be fantastic if ALL their apps has an option to select between auto looping the current lesson or auto starting the next one for times when we are jogging working out driving or any other activity that would benefit from an auto continuation feature without user input Other than thatgreat app              Enhancement

After buying Rosetta Stone I cant even get it to work on my iPhone And after using it for 90 days I gotta pay 20 a month for using it on the phone when I payed hundreds to buy Rosetta Stone Ridiculous And I cant get my email and password to work on the app and theres no way to retrieve it     What

This app needs an update to be comparable with iphone 6 and 6plus When thats done theyll get a rereview and 5 stars     Not upto date

The facts that this program never works is one thing Aside from that fact I believe its rather PATHETIC that Rosetta Stone would charge you 25 a month to use their mobile app after 90 days Especially after paying 500 for the software This should obviously be included and I believe using the mobile for marketing is a total scam I wish I could give it negative stars     Worthless

I love this app Have been using it for quite a while now However I just switched to iPhone 6 and it wont open anymore That is why I gave it only 4 stars Im hoping they update it I am almost finished with level 19 and this app would really help me finish through level 20              Great app

Ive been using this app along with the Rosetta Stone app to learn German Its really nice to have the extra sections as I felt the other app lacked sufficient speaking exercises I do wish this app kept track of level scores and completed levels so I could remember where I left off and check back on levels I didnt do well on Another feature I would like to have on this is the meter that shows how accurate my pronunciation is Its a small pain to have to download each section but it takes up very little space on my phone so not a big deal Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone with a TotalE subscription The app is designed for the iPhone but works just fine on an iPad just doesnt look great              Great app but could use a few tweaks

I purchased Rosetta Stone in hopes to increase my Japanese language skills Only to find many grammatical and spelling errors Now Im discovering that I have to pay to use the app Very disappointed     Seriously

FYI If you download the software there are no activation instructions Although you can still use the software you dont have a password for access to mobile options The CD activation tab requires 3 activation codes however it also activated the download Fill in the CD1 with your code and the other two will autofill                 Great Option

After spending hundreds of dollars on levels 15 of the desktop app they expect me to pay 20 PER MONTH to get the same content on my iPhone Customer service says the subscription is for a whole package of online games and extras but who cares about that They wont release access to the iOS app separately What a scam     Total ripoff

Rosetta Stone RS doesnt answer questions with negative words So they dont need to speak a truth that THEY are ashamed to admit Heres my example from a chat session with a RS tech support member that I saved on my computer Since the Downloadable version costs the same as the CDROM I asked this Will headphones be delivered as quickly as promised with the CDROM package RS Employee reply Headphones work great with the CDROM lessons He never said You dont get headphone with the Download package This is one of 4 different questions that he sidestepped I couldnt understand why until I came here and read all of the Reviews from people that claim to be random users That are NotAffiliated with RS lol THEY dont tell you what they LIKE about RS they tell you how they cant understand why some many people are writing BAD reviews Sincerely A satisfied Rosetta Stone CUSTOMER that is ashamed to see a company ACTIVELY LYING to promote their employers POOR POLICY     REVIEWS Or Company ADS

I thought this app was going to be a mess after reading the reviews but it seems fine to me I entered our subdomain in settings and it dropped me right into my course It can hear me fine too which was a surprise I cant use my laptop without a headset microphone Wish it put me on the right level it started me on level one but I can work around that              Seems fine

The app should have exercises that dont require you to speak That way I dont look like a crazy person on the train           A quieter option

The iPhone 5 came out everyone either had their app ready to be updated within the first couple weeks or certainly no later than a month This app is still using the iPhone 4 format for the screen so you have to stare at two large black gaps and empty spaces and so you do not get the full experience I have called Rosetta Stone no less than 10 times about this and it is impossible to make any headway whether you get Third World technical support or some representative who tells you that their hands are tied and tells you they will pass it on to engineering Youre never allowed to talk to anyone in the software development department nor are they ever really understanding what youre asking for Most of the people there do not even understand when iPhone 5 is The other issue that everyone seems to agree on is its ridiculous that this is a paid application on a subscription basis no less You cant even pay a little extra and just own the app for your language You have to constantly renew it My personal opinion and I believe everyone would agree with me here is that this should just be part of the package when you purchase the 500 program Your iPad and iPhone app should just be an extension of whats on the desktop Unfortunately they package mobile use with something called Rosetta studio and other online perks and so they want to sell it back to you again and again However since no amount of telling this to Rosetta Stone and Im sure Im not the first to do so helps I have nonetheless still paid for the subscription because I do find this app that useful The iPad app is even more useful even though they lock you out of writing exercises and other exercises that the iPad would be more than perfectly capable of handling The iPad version by the way is identical in every way shape and form to the desktop version except it literally puts a lock and key on some exercises Another bogus feature The iPad has a digital international keyboard for Gods sake Dont get me started on the voices Have you ever heard of more absurd speaking men and women in your life I tested out all the other languages and they pretty much sound same across the board So 90 of my language studying happens in bed or on the couch or wherever while holding my iPad mini and then brushing up on everything I didnt understand by constantly drilling the talking screens on the iPhone TotalE companion You can use this app as a listening tool as well by not looking at the screen and just flicking through the screens if you dont want to talk to it I like looking mostly though because Im still learning how to spell everything out in Russian I have to admit this has been a powerful tool for learning language And while I dont like to have to constantly download individual languages at a time it is a pretty effective little app You can also throw it on your iPad and double the screen size if you wanted to but of course the resolution will not be that great Based on the lack of iPhone 5 support alone and the fact that they do not have this same app for iPad in HD and the fact that you have to actually pay for it when it is the exact same screens as your actual desktop language version I would like to give this app one star or a negative star but if you really take your language learning seriously you will realize what a true companion it is and you dont really have a choice now anyway so for now three is fair If they fix those few things it would get five I cant even imagine the undertaking it mustve been to go out and photograph all of those photographs and organize them individually per language Orchestrating all the tens of thousands of photographs in the photo shoots etc its pretty incredible           After 8 months still no iPhone 5 screen support

Great companion to the Totale subscription however iOS 7 then 8 with no UI update to the app to compensate Please update Rosetta Stone and I will likely upgrade my rating           Needs update bad

Most of the negative reviews here have not confirmed that they are Total E subscribers Typical of the world today Total E is half the price of the cd rom program and this app goes with that subscription not the CDROM program To all of the negative reviewers please be helpful and edit your review to state whether or not youre a Total E subscriber                 Be honest

I bought this product and initially thought it was great but found out the initial period is only a few months very expensive to continue but broke down to try it againeven at 225 was still expensive for a year especially since even after they have given me my user name and passworddeleted and reinstalled the app on my iphone and tried to connect thru a PC still unable to access the app or online Blew much of a day where I couldve learned a whole language by the time Im just trying to access the product Grrrr if I could give negative stars I would Ive sent requests for help thru online support with no answer other than we received your request     Disappointed

In general I really like this app Actually I really prefer the iPad app One big problem with having both the iPad app and the iPhone app is that they dont synch I use the iPad app much more frequently and every time I try to use the iPhone app it puts me where I left off on the iPhone app It should recognize my user name and password and continue at the most advanced lesson Ive completed           Needs to synch
