I love the app but how long is it going to take for you guys to optimize for my iPhone 6           iPhone 6 6 Support

I switched from a IPhone 4 to a IPhone 6 plus and TomTom will not download at all please advise of when a update for iPhone 6 plus will be available I will update my review when I am able to download Thank you        Needs Updating

Well the app is pretty good and the maps are great They have been accurate for me so far and it seems like they receive regular updates I think the designers completely threw the Apple interface guidelines out the window though The app is not intuitive at all and its pretty ugly The voice is completely unnatural even for words like highway which you hear a lot And there are only three new voices that you can buy Some updates like new natural Sirilike voices iPhone 6 display support and some interface guidelines would be great Oh yeah having the maps on the phone is AMAZING No internet required for navigating              Good app hideous design

Tomtom navigates to nothing when opening the app through Apple maps It used to work before now it does not Not Good We are unable to transfer or renew our traffic service that we paid for Both my wifes account and mine Bad We opened a ticket online to help us and they responded that there is no fix at this time and they do not have an ETA There is no follow up except the urgency of closing the the ticket even if the issue still exist It does not sound like an American way of customer service to us It looks like some third world tech support again trying to make their stats Boo Really Bad     Bugs for 120 version

The only reason I dont use this is that it does NOT support bluetooth Hands Free Profile HFP so in order to hear the prompts over your car audio over bluetooth you need to be on the bluetooth source to hear them Garmin and Apple Maps both support HFP so your radio doesnt even need to be on for the prompts to play over the car audio This is major limitation of TOMTOM which otherwise has a pretty good product For now Garmin is my go to IOS navigation app           NEEDS HFP

If youve ever wanted to get lost then throw your iPhone out of your cars window in frustration this is the app for you Its absolutely unintuitive and unusable I could go on but it would be a waste of everyones time     The worst navigation app ever

I bought this app way back when the iPhone didnt have spoken navigation natively Ive still been using it because I could add all of my POI for work That ability is gone and I no longer have any reason to use this app I got a good bit of time and use out of this app but its a shame that the money I spent is now wasted with the loss of this ability Devs please enable file sharing so that I can add my POIs back        Was pretty nice Now Im disappointed

this app holds great promise and then fails to deliver Subscription to traffic services take days to activate Its obvious the app isnt tested heavily prior to release they probably say stuff like well we cant replicate a real environment well enough of these functions cant be tested until we release I constantly has issues where the sound doesnt play through my Bluetooth for the speaker on the phone The maps and traffic data as well as the routing engines are second to none too bad the app borderlines on unusable and I cant unlock that value        clunky slow and buggy

Dont bother with the worthless traffic subscription Tomtom leads me right into the worst of it every time Been a subscriber for years but found Waze actually gets me around traffic in NYC LA and Austin You wanna spend 14 a year and still sit in traffic jams be my guest but that one was the last straw     Long time user having issues now

Have used for years Can update via wifi on this last update no problem I stream music with another app then load this with directions When the tomtom app speaks it mutes my song so I dont miss a turn Then brings streaming music volume back Maps are all saved on phone No worries if I have no cell tower coverage I pay for live traffic reports and that works well              Use daily Incredible app

The update says that you tomtom are no longer able to offer a yearly subscription for traffic and therefore you lowered the monthly price Yet in the app there is still a choice for yearly at 1499 and monthly at 199 which by my math is 2388 for 12 months Are you still offering the yearly subscription And are you in fact going to lower the monthly cost                 Wth

The last update that I got erased all my favorites I have had this app for a while now and never had this problem Disappointing     Update erases all favorites

It only seems to work well when I already know how to get where Im going Ive used Google to find out where I need to go and then put it in Tom Tom Er Wha The traffic module is not dynamic and while communting on a Waze vs Tom Tom day Waze changed its mind and said save 45 min go this way while Tom Tom said keep going and I sat in traffic for for an additional 45 minutes By uninstalling Ill get back 1 GB of space which I can use for music which will likely get me where Im going more effectively If this was 99 Id give it a 3 But I paid 50 and twice paid for the traffic module 13 20 I dont remember but too much so its held to a higher expectation Ive had this for several years and primarily got it for offline maps This is probably the 2nd review Ive ever written so I really dont think this thing is useful     Free apps are much better

Where is it I purchased this app in 2013 and it has not changed a bit Updates are always bug fixes only Which is great but where is the apple watch support Or even support for the larger screens of the iPhone 6 and 6 plus           Apple Watch Support and Iphone 6 Plus Support

Why are the updates so large Why are the updates equal to or larger than the actual app The updating process is slow and never completes I delete the app but the notification is still there I check the processes and sure enough the app is listed as running The app is stuck like last time I have to restore my phone Fail     The updates are always problematic

This is a life savor I recently moved to the US and found this app worth every penny Ive used it to travel within my state and interstates without any problems Give this app a try                 Money well spent

Everything worked great until this latest release of Tomtom Now Map share keep showing connection error and wont download new updates with this latest release of Tomtom           Mapshare cant connect

Compared to the Tom Tom gps I got from Target store this one is much faster retrieving data The price is incomparable to what I had paid at the store for 11600 Im really glad I got this one for my iPhone 6 plus                 Great GPS

Pros 1 THE best GPS for navigating around traffic accidents PERIOD Ive literally tried every single major GPS app in the App Store and Tomtom wins handsdown I travel 45 minutes via interstate to and from work daily and so this is the most important feature for me 2 Map options Plenty of color palettes for a variety of tastes Also there is actually an icon that matches my charcoal gray Ford Focus hatchback almost identically 3 Plenty of features lane assist stored limit traffic cams multiple stops social checkins 4 Simple layout and menu navigation although not so iOS78like Cons 1 Despite Star Wars voices being available to standalone Tomtom units for a long time now iPhone app users are still Vaderless Many users have posted pleas for these to no avail Ill add a plea of my own into the pot 2 Better Retinaenhanced graphics needed iPhone 6 and 6 Plus optimization 3 If you tap the checkin icon at one of your stops along your route it pulls up locations that are near your final destination not ones near the stop 4 Even with the voice guidance volume at its lowest setting it is still too loud when using my cars Bluetooth or USB 5 Wish the developers would update the app and maps more frequently The last update a minor one was January 2015 It is now the end of April without an additional update              Good But Still Vaderless

Hey TomTom love the app but the latest version will not allow traffic updates I transfer my account between devises and only one devise is able to get share updates and traffic This problem is new with this update Please fix this           No traffic thats been paid forwhats up

now that you dont offer prepaid yearly traffic updates anymore what happens to what we already paid for can you add a feature so app works upside down when phone in car cup holder           What happens to our prepaid live traffic

Ive been using this for years and love it But why cant we save actual routes we like instead of just locations We need that ability Also we need to have the option of creating routes that will avoid red light cameras As a business traveller they are the Bain of my existence Please TomTom help Many improvements have been added including red light camera identification which is priceless                 My go to app

We can only create 48 favorites even if everybody does not need it I need it it could be unlimited and always no update for ip6plus           need specific updates

Use it all the time Much better than my car or any other iPhone GPS apps Its so convenient to search for your destination so many options On my car I have to type out the whole address                 Great app

Please consider offering different voice options I dont like any of the ones offered                 Great app

Ive been using TomTom app for years for bicycling Ive never once had a problem with the app at all Im using iPhone 5s iOS 841 and not an issue This isnt an issue but a suggestion I wish they would add in bike trails that links to places if the trail is short then the road rout                 Great for bicycling

With Waze on the market for free Tomtom needs to offer the traffic feature for free Its no good without it Waze gets me there quicker and out of traffic Plus Waze is a FREE download and doesnt take up as much space on the iPhone     Needs to include traffic for free

I bought the Homer Simpson voice a long time ago and when I got my new phone though the app itself is fine the voice is gone until I purchase it again I cant find a way to get it back like you do with other apps How do I get help with this              Transferring device cancels inapp purchases

Ive been a pretty loyal user to TomTom for many years now The ability to customize was a big part of that Garmin was my second runnerup but I was pleased with the ability to create custom POIs and the many celebrity voices available from TomTom The lack of voices and car icons is very disappointing This goes along with their stand alone units as well as the iphone app Questions to their tech support take ages to get answered and its usually a standard answer of were working on it Its coming soon This app just doesnt satisfy a longtime user Im tired of being ignored by their lack of responsiveness     So disappointed with where TomTom has gone

I just used the maximum winding roads feature for a 2 day motorcycle trip and it was awesome It would be nice to be able to fine tune it just a little bit further by adding other criteria to what you already have Ie avoid dirt roads cities etc it did route us down several dirt roads which I happen to like but I am sure some would not It has also routed me straight thru cities which I would love to be able to avoid What happened to the map correction features It routed me down 2 roads that were closed I tried to mark them for future trips and others but could not find the correction features that used to be there I hope this was not removed                 Love the winding roads feature

The driving experience is nice the traffic info is a life saver but UI needs an update it didnt change a bit from 2003 when I bought my first tomtom Its 2015 guys if you didnt noticed POI search is terrible Most of the time its impossible to find something update 120 the app is not using gps always as it did before but only when you use the app Same ugly design Very slow on iPhone 5c The only useful feature is the traffic I dont care much about offline maps        The UI needs an update

Dont know why this apps rating is so low Ive had this app for about 5 years now and I use it almost everyday with my job I travel about 300 miles a day and it always gets me to where I need to go Its easy to use and The traffic subscription if you purchase it is amazing                 Best GPS app out

Upgraded to I OS 84 this morning and used the app this afternoon and for some reason I was having a real hard time acquiring a GPS signal I dont know if its a iOS bug or if its something to do with Tom Tom Never had any problems prior to the iOS update Tom Tom is my favorite navigation app                 iOS 84 bug

Ignore all of the negative reviewers They dont understand what this app is supposed to be used for It may not be the prettiest navigation app out there and its certainly one of the most expensive but it is completely and utterly dependable at getting you where you want to go I just used it for a 5000 mile trip across the US and it was with us every step of the way It doesnt matter if youre in center city Philadelphia or the middle of the Nevada desert where cell service has never been heard of and the roads dont even have names Tom Tom will know where you are and itll know where youre going If youre looking for an app to get you around town go with Google Maps If youre looking for a onestop silver bullet of navigation for anywhere in the continental United States buy this app right now                 Solid as a Rock
