Todo® Exchange Tasks

It is really a very good product I liked it There is a bug as when you sync if u have category and due date assigned for tasks in outlook when you sort group these tasks by its due date it wont show properly Suppose you have tasks with category created from outlook and task created from todo with same date and same category it wont club together the date section will duplicate           Good but bug

Ive purchased the app and Im overall satisfied it does what the description says But for a 10 app there are some problems 1 It does not support full screen mode on iPhone 5 2 I cannot set up default task list that is opened every time I open the app 3 I cannot set up default due time that gets set for every new task              Does what is says but bot enough for 10

Works very well synching todos between iphone and windows Also on occasion where there was an issue they have diagnostics buit in that email them upon which they actually respond with answers within 24 hours                 Great software plus support

I have followed instructions and downloaded test kit Connection provisioning and sync were successful using iPhone agent based in choice in Advance Tests section Downloaded the app but it cant connect Just wasted money     Even after successful test doesnt sync

Works as described Ive probably paid 50 in task apps looking for one that works as described with regards to exchange connectivity so thats a big plus They really really really need to add the functionality to show emails flagged for followup as a task I cant find an app that works with my companys exchange server that does that Unfortunately if apple or some third party app doesnt bridge that gap soon I may be leaving the apple family of tablets soon as that is a key task management task I hope this app bridges that gap soon as I love my iPad           Ok app

As a longtime loyal ToDo user I was thrilled to see Appigo develop a solution for ExchangeOutlook tasks This version is good and very useable but I do miss all of the extended features of ToDo especially the ability to manually prioritize tasks in the lists but I am wishing on my four stars above that this app will be continually improved as they have done so beautifully with ToDo and reach its full potential soon              Wishing on my stars

I have been happily using todo for years syncing with Outlook via Toodledo I thought this app would just take my current todo app and sync it with exchange Wrong It creates a completely new app experience and basically discards the todo app The result is that I lost a lot of functionality that was in the todo app In exchange I use multiple categories and folders This app however does not provide an easy way to look at categories within a given folder Categories only show up as tiny color blocks in the folder for example I also cannot find a way to sort these categories and everything is mismatched The whole thing was a huge letdown and a complete waste of my money     Huge Disappointment

A used to really like this app until it was creating duplicate task in exchange Filtering and accuracy are two features sorely lacking It appears that they are still selling an app that gets zero support and so my support has also left for this application     No updates in nearly 3 years and clunky

Will not synchronize with Exchange even though the free test app indicates it is compatible Tried both a private exchange server and Rackspace both of which tested positive with the test app neither of which will complete a synchronization two different user accounts as well     Does not work

This app is that I really need to my business Keep going but you need update to iOS 7 and iPhone 5 or plus              Need a update to iOS 7

Seems like lower ratings are for people who didnt read exactly what they are buying This app does exactly what it says and it has a test download to make sure it will work before you buy I use GTD organization system and this app allows me to use iPhone and Outlook tasks and keeps everything syncd without changing my current system I am not technical and I got everything working within a few minutes When I needed tech support they were fast to respond I dont share tasks with others so this feature wasnt needed App creator should probably mention this since that feature seems to be a big issue with other reviewers Overall worth the money to have seamless conversion of tasks in Outlook to my iPhone                 Does what it says

I downloaded this relatively expensive 999 app because it had high ratings and was expressly advertised as working with Exchange Downloaded successfully and successfully synced or so it said It took a week with customer support who to be honest were prompt to figure out that the app does not support either flagged items or shared task folders Now that IS irritating It is called Todo Exchange Tasks so one would think it would support the full range of Exchange Tasks For me many of those are flagged items and shared folders Very very frustrating Support said theyd discuss adding flagged items which some of their cheaper competitiors do I am really baffled by the lack of quality of any app offerings in the area of Exchange Tasks a very big oversight by the developers of MS Apple for iPhone and the independent app developers        Coulda Woulda Shoulda

Lets me manage my tasks with simplicity and ease My IMexchange2 kept freezing up TaskTask had a untenable account glitch and Outlook from Microsoft doesnt have a Task Management feature Just keep this baby current with Apples latest operating system and Microsoft outlook version and I will continue to be one happy person                 Great App

Functional and syncs well including retaining complex recurrence data which reminders and other apps sorely have issues with iPad much like regular ToDo can you make an iPad specific interface While compatible the stretched look is not really what Im looking for Can you add app badge options similar to ToDo              iPad compatible

This app is just about worthless It regularly loses synchronization with the exchange server That forces you to set up the account again And when you set up your account again it duplicates everything on the exchange server and now you have twice as many things to do on your to do list It really makes a mess     Just about worthless

I use Outlook Tasks as a running action item list for my team Thought this app would allow me to see multiple fields for each task including user defined fields This would be awesome for adding action items from meetings when I dont have my laptop Unfortunately it doesnt do much more than the reminders app that comes with iOS        Missing Fields

App works like a charm for syncing tasks in Outlook The interface is similar which makes for good continuity                 Great App

This developer should find another job They dont have the screen to match the iphone 5 It only is the size of iphone 4 Iphone 5 has been out 18 months No wonder the company is struggling     Really Dont wast your money

A larger window similar to ToDo for iPad would be a great improvement Ideally it would also be integrated with the regular ToDo with a dedicated context for Exchange tasks Other than that I love the ability to manage work tasks on my phone with a clean interface              Need iPad version

My company uses Lotus Notes and I couldnt handle its inability to effectively manage tasks so was looking for a way to do that in Outlook and have them available on my phone This app does the job well My only wish is an easy to move tasks ahead to tomorrow this week next week or a custom date like Outlook does              Good task sync to Outlook

Outlook users often create task items by marking emails for followup This app does not sync these tasks So your iPhone will only show part of your Task List making it pretty useless     Beware missing vital functionality

Usability is good Like it Syncs with exchange Works well But with Reminders in ios6 included this has competition Negative no assignment of tasks to others I use for business and I cant understand why the assignment of tasks to others isnt built in I am sure they have a reasonbut with so many decent options if they dont upgrade this will be not as useful           Task manager

Ive been using this app for months now to stay on top of all my personal and professional tasks I chose it because it synchs seamlessly with the outlook platform required by my work I use a GTD system of category tags for the project and context associated with all tasks and this app allows me to review and update all of my work from my phone Simple clean and efficient                 Great app great support

This is a great iPhone and iPad app And I can sync it to the Pro version online And I can sync it with Outlook via appsync BUT being able to sync to both NO WAY I have to choose Hmmmmmm Did Appigo product development fall asleep        Still need to put the puzzle together

Im a long time user of Todo Pro and wish it still offered sync with Outlook Havent needed Exchange sync until recently Held off as long as possible due to overprice of this app However despite the bugs it does what is advertised Pros Category sync No errors or crashing yet True Exchange Tasks on the go Cons want 5 stars add these iPhone 5 screen not supported very lame Doesnt sync followups for emails but your competitors do Doesnt allow quick postponing of tasks like Todo Pro no popup menu No updates in almost 1 year Wants Sync Outlook Notes Assign Tasks Dragndrop to reorder Lets go Appigo              Good but needs some updates

I have tried 20 programs This is the best Pro Maintains categories Works with exchange Cons No support for shared task lists Feature requests please appigo Print a list Email a list Drag to reorder only alphabetical Support shared outlook task lists The only todo list I use I use it with office365 and it works great shared lists aside                 Best todo for exchange users

I was excited about this app At 10 it was a little pricey but seemed like a great opportunity to streamline task management After a day of fiddling I give up It wont allow me to connect to the server I will try to get my money back     Didnt work

I have tried every To Do list possible for iPhone This is the only one that will sync seamlessly with Outlook All the others need 3rd part sync or use their own websites This is a simple program which allows multiple line tasks organized by category of project I wish I would see some upgrades from the developers but I have not yet This is my go to reliable action list program I always have over 100 action items at a time My job is VERY complex with multiple projects all the time Thank goodness for this app                 Love this App wish they would enhance

I moved to this application from the paid Todo as a way to seamlessly sync my tasks via Exchange between all my devices AND my desktop Outlook It discovered and configured quickly and there were no setup issues It lacks some features I liked in the regular Todo such as the popup menu on a task to change it and the default setting on a new task is to set no date rather than the start date but I can work around those I dont feel the cost of the app was a problem it works and that is what I was after              Does what it advertises

Appigo forgot about this app about 5 minutes after it was first released They had the best opportunity to make a great app but I guess they didnt make enough money to continue Just look at the old Outlook 2010 icon and you can see that no one at Appigo cares about this app anymore Here is the rest of my review from when the app was first released I am literally obsessed with Task management applications I have struggled for years trying to find the right task management program for my needs As an Exchange user at work Mac user at home and an iPhone and iPad user everywhere in between I have tried Omnifocus 2Do Things Toodledo but generally used Appigos Todo for task management I need one task list accessible everywhere That means Wifi syncing is not an option Cloud based syncing is the future and Exchange based syncing would be the best Appigos Todo has fulfilled my needs to the best of its architectural abilities I have used Todo for the IPhone iPad and Mac I also have a paid subscription to Toodledo and Gsyncit to get it into Exchange However this design often results in duplicates and slow syncing Not the fault of Appigo by any means but detrimental to the overall solution nonetheless Omnifocus is by far the most elegant of all IOS and Mac solutions sorry Appigo but the developer seems to be resting on their laurels and refuses to build in Exchange PC or even Web Support I wish I could use their app but the developer has stated repeatedly that they have no intention of developing integration to Exchange Appigo please pickup what you can from their design and move it into Todo Ex and your other products Things also looks beautiful but without syncing it is just a joke The feedback has gone on to them for years requesting it with no response 2do accomplishes most of what I need however using iCloud to sync to Outlook has limitations that make it inconvenient to use It is also not as good aesthetically as Todo is so even if they develop Exchange in the future I dont think it will look as good as what Appigo has done here Toodledo based apps Toodledo 2Do and Todo are great but have a similar limitation when Exchange is where I spend most of my time during the day because Toodledo wasnt designed for Exchange integration Of all the Toodledo apps Appigos Todo is the strongest and most usable BYOD is the trend for 2012 and Apple IOS is the overwhelming choice for employees bringing their own devices to work Exchange is the overwhelming email platform for business So ANYONE connecting the dots can see that Appigos Todo Ex should dominate the market Appigo clearly understands GTD Task Management and aesthetics and it seems that they are recognizing this BYODAppleExchange opportunity as well They dont have their head stuck in the Mac sand Of all the companies producing IOS task management apps I would put money on Appigo to deliver quality products and be in it for the long haul For that reason I bought the Todo Ex app the moment I got the email from Appigo I admit that it took some time to adjust from GTD in Todo to Todo Ex but once I made the shift my life has become so much more efficient I congratulate Appigo on recognizing the trend and needs of Exchange users and putting the Appigo aesthetics into an Exchange based app That being said understandably this is Version 1 and hopefully there are many updates to come I have noted a few bugs and enhancements that I would like to see get addressed in no particular order Bugs 1 Category colors do not sync across devices 2 Notification badge seems to be inconsistent What is it showing There should be a setting allowing me to decide what I want the badge to show 3 After adjusting a task it disappears from the to do view until I refresh Design Enhancements 1 Button layout Keep the plus button at the top and move the view and action buttons to the bottom more similar to Todo then center the Text at the top of the app 2 Sync and detail text should pop up during sync then disappear when complete rather than persistently taking up space at the bottom of the screen 3 Change the priority andor category layout on the right hand side of the task line similar to Todo where the category color is on the left hand second line and the priority is on the far right 4 Add TextExpander support Home PageView Enhancements 1 Main page is not just folders so instead call it home page and build more views from there 2 Create a Due today view 3 Create an Uncategorized view 4 Create a Focus view and allow its configuration through the settings similar to Todo 5 Create an Assigned to view General Settings Enhancements 1 Create a Default task settings specifying default folder due date category etc 2 Allow the ability to customize the task detail field order andor spacing 3 Allow the configurations of default view sorting options within a view so active might be able to the sort by due date then priority then subject for example Wish List 1 Link to Exchange contacts for calling directly from the app 2 Link to Exchange notes similar to the way Toodledo operates 3 Create a Calendar view integration similar to Omnifocus so we can see what tasks are Due Today along with which appointments are on the calendar for the day Finally the most important Create an iPad version similar to Todo for iPad with columns on left and detail on the right I hope that Appigo will pursue some or all of these enhancements along with countless others that I havent thought of yet Thank you Appigo team     Dont buy this app Appigo forgot about it a long time ago

Standard setup Office365 and Outlook 2013 After spending 999 a premium for an app and therefore expect it to not only function at the basic level but to excel it did neither It failed to sync and the developer suggested renaming all tasks that had a dash in them When we indicated that if the product wasnt working in a standard exchange deployment it should be fixed or not sold the response was To close the ticket and to contact Apple for a refund Product is obviously needed but this developer has a gross misunderstanding of merchantability Until the company matures and the product actually works cannot be used dont waste your time or money     Developer indifferent to product failure

This app does exactly what I needed it to do synch my task list with our corporate Exchange server As a practitioner of GTD Getting Things Done I use Outlook Tasks as my in basket I previously used TaskTask to synch my tasks but it stopped working suddenly I dont know if it was due to a corporate security change but it just wouldnt synch I really appreciate that theaters of this app also provides a utility that the end user can use to verify that the app will work in their corporate environment prior to the purchase of the app Well done                 Excellent app

After much installinguninstalling I believe Ive finally found not only a functional task manager but an aesthetically pleasing app I would make one suggestion once you have marked a task as complete dont remove the category that was assigned to it I run reports based on the categories and find I have to reassign the category after it syncs to Outlook Great job                 Best Ive found

If you are looking for the Todo app that you miss to sync to Outlook this is not it No checklists no focus list no projects This is Toodledo but for 10 instead of free Toodledo syncs seamlessly with Reminders on IPhone and Reminders sync with exchange tasks What I loved about Todo was its elegance and flexibility All gone now Dont waste your 10     This is NOT Todo

Cut and paste and texting and calling from phone numbers in the app no longer work Please fix as I would give the app five stars otherwise     Please update for iOS 8

Todo Exchange is a useful and user friendly app Customer support was prompt and helpful              Todo Exchange syncs well with Outlook

Exciting concept interface is boring I expect innovation and it aint here Simple little things you used with Todo arent available        Dont expect Innovation

I have to scratch my head over this one Take the best task management app that syncs with Outlook locally has a great user interface and groupinghierachy model then gut it Remove all the hierachy capability and the nice UI and produce something that iPhone already has Reminders Viola Then while youre at it screw your existing customer base by making the old Todo version useless too by removing its ability to sync with anything There you go the new Appigo business strategy Brilliant     A big step backward
