Reduce your tinnitus while listening to your music; the scientific way Tinnitus Pro is an easy to use app to help you reduce the loudness of your tinnitus tone by simply listening to your own iTunes ...
The app functions as expected except for the shuffle functionality for my music It seems to play the same song over and over for each shuffle Also the white pink and brown noise are short loops and fade out between loops which is distracting           Shuffle Broke
Compared to the other tinnitusoriented apps this warrants a fivestar rating though still has some room for improvement One thing thats a challenge though not specifically an issue with this app is isolating the ringinghissing tone though its nice that you can create multiple profiles and easily switch between them I am hopeful the notched music therapy will help diminish the pain of tinnitus over time and may post additional review comments after Ive used the app more However wanted to provide early comments to others who might like me be wondering if the app was worthwhile To that end I recommend over every other tinnitus app Ive seen                 Very nice app promising
If you are like me you are optimistic that one of these apps will work I found that this one made my ringing louder and more like a hiss It took several days to revert No serious damage appears to have occurred but Id review this kind of therapy with an ENT and see if there are notch therapy studies where people know what they are doing     Made my ringing considerably worse
Started having right ear ringing for the first time in my life today Listened to music through this app for about an hour Instant relief while listening to it Ringing seems less bothersome after taking headphones out and going about my day Hopefully the ringing will be gone by tomorrow but if not I know what to do for some relief              Helpful
It is a pleasure to have this app out there with the limited choices that address tinnitus The theory looks great but is it sustainable It has a lot of potential for those of us contending with tinnitus and so far one of very few that implement sound therapies cost effectively It took a while to figure out how to adjust settings                 Great tool
My advice is to keep the volume low when you do the matching of the tones and do the set up I have been using this app for 2 years almost every day and found it to be a great sleep aid Notched music doesnt cure tinnitus or lower the volume but it is much more gentle on your ears to listen to when I use it at the gym This app combined with a track that is just the sound of rain playing over and over with a notch when it is playing completely and gently masks my tinnitus at night I sleep with it every night with the timer at 90 minutes or just keep it on all night This app is not a cure but it is a great benefit when combined with white noise tracks Its the only way I can relax              A great benefit and sleep aid
What I really like about this app is it gives you a way to determine the frequencies driving you crazy by ear then design a mapping to help detune yourself to ignoring the tinnitus sound Its even working with my pulsatile tinnitus Just having a tool that doesnt cost 25k is wonderful I really like this app                 Great app
The app does not use my itunes or apple music songs This makes the app pretty useless I tried to contact the app authors and received no response Very frustrating as it appears that do not provide support I am willing to change my review if we can get some support and our issue is fixed It is a lot of money for it to not work     Does not load my music no response from tech support
This is really useful I can pinpoint where I have tinnitus for the first time The interface is slick and easy to use Totally worth ten bucks Only problem is when you shut your screen off you pause the app so your battery will die if you leave it on to sleep fix that and its 5 stars              Thanks
I was worried because we havent seen a new version lately The old version crashed frequently and this one did also crash once during a few hours of use it seems worst when you doubletap the home button to switch apps After using this app a while normal music sounds tinny Interface is clean It could use a few things the ability to remove profiles landscape support and balance control Because the people who use this app almost by definition have mild hearing issues the latter feature seems an obvious oversight Im not convinced this works as therapy you are probably better off abstaining from headphone use But for those of us who cannot this app offers some hope              Easy to use might work a little
Decided to look at Tinnitus apps to see if there was anything out there to help me Surprised to see so manytested a number of free apps before realizing many were a waste of time After doing much reading and comparing Tinnitus pro seemed to be the real deal For 10 I was taking a chance as Ive thrown so much money down the drain trying apps So far Im very impressed beautiful design and everything was super easy to follow the set up directions were awesome I have a 4S and all worked seamlessly with my music volume controls and so on I guess with that out of the way its all down to whether the theory behind this app really worksworth the 10 to give it a shot                 Best of the Bunch
Great potential but please provide longer white noise files Id love to use this when sleeping However the white noise only lasts 3 minutes There is a moment of silence as it restarts and i hear my tinnitus blaring during that moment Seems counter productive to the apps goals Would love a continuous white noise like other apps offer           White noise too short
If you dont use iTunes Match the app works fine I cant vouch for if it actually has any effect since I only started using it but it does seem to notch the music correctly There are serious stability problems when using the app with iTunes Match Ive tried it on an iPod and an iPad and both have the same issue Nine times out of ten the app just does not start If it does and it gets through the lengthy wait for the playlist to load it refuses to play any of the songs in iTunes Match mistakenly saying they are DMR tracks I believe this is an Apple issue iTunes Match has been buggy since its introduction and it displays this behavior in several other music apps I would encourage the developers to put as much pressure as they can on Apple to fix this issue because if your customers dont know what the issue is they are going to blame it on the app The developers shouldnt be blamed for Apples mistakes              Functional But Crashes With iTunes Match
App seems to do what it claims it does in that I can clearly hear the differences in a white noise file when I change the range of the notch App goes up to both 16 kHz for detection and notching UI is pleaseant and is mostly selfexplanatory but there is a help overlay if you dont know what certain features do You can use one of the provided noise files for notching or you can import your own noise or music file You can also create a playlist of files for notching You can track your tinnitus volume over time but considering notch therapy can take months Id not obsess over tracking it too much Although the price tag is high this does seem like an effective app with a profession design and features Its a lot cheaper than paying thousands for a device or hundreds a year for an online service that does the exact same thing Much thanks to the developer who does respond to messages for offering a much more reasonably priced alternative                 Just as described nice design much cheaper than alternatives
After spending quite a bit on this app and using it for a few hours the shuffle function completely stopped working Now all it does is loop the same song continuously without even letting me skip to the next track So whatIm supposed to listen to one song for hours on end for an entire year to see results No thanks DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY     Absolute Garbage
The creators of this app neglect to mention that if your tinnitus is a high pitched hissing sound then there is no way to identify the frequencyergo the app will not work for you You get to spend 10 to find this out by yourself I wrote to them and big surprise no response     What they dont tell you
Even when set to shuffle They need to fix this as you have to sign into your phone go to the app get into the playlist and select another song EVERY FREAKING TIME        Stuck on the same song
Have used this app for a little over a year and it has helped reduced the perception of my tinnitus very substantially It is like massage therapy for my brain it has worked for me Looking forward to the next release I have been using ear buds the whole time and when I upgrade the app I will buy some high quality headphones                 Great Therapy
Installed twice Turned iPad offon Exited app None works This app doesnt work on the iPad 3 I dont want my money back I want the app to work     Does NOT work on iPad 3
To create a profile you must listen to and match the high pitch tone of your tinnitus Doing so may worsen your tinnitus Proceed with caution        Warning
A really useful and nicely designed app First For the people who complain about the all stopping in the background YOU NEED TO LOOK IN THE APP SETTINGS There youll find the screen and background toggles There are a few big flaws yet its still worthwhile investment considering the potential for helping your tinnitus The big MAJOR flaw is that the app is a CPU HOG it will take 99 of the CPU when playing music Second is that you can make multiple simultaneous notches for those of us with multiple tones A couple other small flaws but the designer has responded that these will be fixed and a new version should be available within the next week or so Still a great app and does something that you cant get with the CD systemsYOUR OWN MUSIC NICE              Nicely polished but has Power flaws update coming
I had to delete this app and reinstall Hopefully it will perform well this time I can see that its more sophisticated than other programs Ive tried                 Tech glitch
Searched for an app that would both identify mono tone tinnitus frequency and notchband filter my music quickly an easily This worked perfectly with very good tone generator controls and integration with my music collection mp3 Very easy to set up multiple profiles and adjust on the fly Only issue is you cant multitask shut off screen or get out of the app or your music quits wish I could check my calendar or play chess while listening on long plane flights Guess that is what my iPad is for now as this app will get many hours in the hopes I can knock down the high c tone in my ears a bit Will take months but there is a nice progress tracking feature Based on original articles and well worth a try Thanks                 Well designed and easy to use
Gives an error that music is DRM protected for every song in itunes including ones that are not DRM Please fix        Does not play music on ipad air
When my tinnitus is at a lower level this app using notched white noise has eliminated the tinnitus for many hours or the day It had helped as a masking device as well providing many options for relief The biggest improvement would be to adjust right and left volume levels in the app and provide multiple octave notches in a single setting But for a severe tinnitus sufferer this app has been a big help at times Keep proving it              Helpful
Just adjusting the frequencies and playing with white noise i already have some relief To be able to use with my music is great I have bought downloaded every tinnitus app Suggestions are allow it keep playing and still use other apps on iPad But will use phone so i can use iPad 2nd suggestionbe able to edit tone and listen again without create a new profile but might be way to do this Awesome app Happy i spent money Will review after longer term usage Thankkk you for this app                 Wow Already feel relief Just bought
App is fairly well designed and easy to use Matching ones Tinnitus frequency separately for each ear is a breeze So is creating a playlist of your favorite music Its too soon to say whether this notched music approach will be an effective treatment for me But Im really pleased that I can try it without the time and expense it would take to receive from the limited number of professionals that can provide what is still basically an experimental treatment For an update I would like to have the White Noise to run without the sound gap when it loops Id like to use it for sound to sleep by instead of our Sound Machine Tried it and the pause in the sound repeatedly woke my wife              Easy to ID Tinnitus range and create notched music
General features work well Intuitive and easy to explore and learn I use Etimotic buds to exclude ambient sound Sounds great Time will tell whether its effective in reducing my serious tinnitus Music features work great Easy replacement for Apple music app Seems to just use the iOS music API Cannot imagine why others are having trouble unless they dont understand basic Apple music features Feature request enable use with Pandora Thatd be sweet                 Like it
Ive had tinnitus bad for about 9 years Its constant and has gotten worse Theres been a lot of research and talking about notched sound therapy This app was easy to setup and the ability to test per ear was great I cant wait to see how it works over the next few months The built in stats about how long Ive listened will keep me true Update The app keeps forgetting my sound profile This means that certain features like tracking tinnitus level and app usage stats do NOT work Hopefully theyll make it more stable           Easy setup excited to see what happens
Just started using this so I dont have the fine points down yet This app has a lot of possibilities An amazing app Seems to be effective in toning down the tinnitus                 Seems to be effective
Im really impressed with what Ive seen so far Its clear that the developers care about Tinnitus and wanted to design this to help with those of us who deal with the noise The design shows a great level of care But were not quite there yet with a comprehensive tool in the 10 range The nails that need hammering 1 ASAP need a fix for audio playback which stops when you navigate through the app or minimize it to multitask In my humble opinion the music that is playing through the filters should not stop until the app is closed from multitask Should play like iTunes 2 Not quite as ASAP as above but each of my ears generate at least two tones one in the 4k range and another harmonizing tone in the higher realm around 11kHz It would be nice to have up to 3 individual tone generators per ear Here is whats great 1 I love the layout from start to outputting treated music The steps are fluid and easy for anyone but nice and deep for audio nut like me 2 Thank you for putting this out there filtering has always been a hypothesis for me as possible treatment for tinnitus I hope this works 3 There are some great uses for musicians and audio creators Time to play a bit outside the box with this one Ramp up the tone generators fix the music playback issue and you have a 5 star app worthy of your 10 price tag Though I think it might be best to sell a little lower at first and work with your clients to make a great app that you can later charge more for Man I hope you guys keep it up and succeed              Very Promising App with Great Potential
Takes a while to figure out exact settings I would like to see a timer My therapist recommends that I go to sleep with it and let it play about 6 hours Hen I wake up my device is dead              Good app
After using this app for an hour my tinnitus is noticeably quieter This app is amazing Totally worth the 10                 Great
I was wary of dropping 10 on another tinnitus app but I am glad I did The fine tuning of the tone finding function is a winner Other apps neglect the fact that it is extremely difficult to isolate your tinnitus notes There may be something to the notched music theory I dont know yet but this app is easy to use and well thought out I hit a snag trying to play my iTunes music apple wont let me very unhappy with this but not the apps fault Its comforting to be able to play the right tone into your ear and make it an external noise That alone is worth it as it shuts my tinnitus up and its easier when its a real noise you are hearing Ten bucks for sanitybargain One points mentioned in earlier reviewstinnitus often has multiple notes you have to write this in to the app I think I have at least 3 tones Top app Well done and thank you Im not easily impressed but you impressed me and this beats shelling out 400 for adobe audition to do the same thing with ten times the effort                 A winning app best so far
