I got this timer for a silent flash alert but in order for the timer to flash repeatedly it forces a pop up that blocks 50 of the screen making the flash hard to see and thus useless I m using an iPhone             Not what expected Silverpaw84

I love this app I use it while doing Chinese standing Qi Gong exercises I can set this timer in a loop to ring every 10 minutes and Apple s clock s timer runs at the same time to let me know when my 30 minutes are up There are many options and sounds to select between for a wide variety of purposes it is very user friendly and the timer is dependable to work as I expect it to I highly recommend this app                 Highly recommended GregEms

I don t normally do reviews but I had to make an exception in this instance Timer is easily the most useful and versatile app I ve ever purchased It takes some time to figure out but once you get the hang of it you are really able to set timers that notify you in basically whatever order or manner you like I am using it to study for the Bar Exam                     Excellent App ihatefaxmachines

Finally I looked forever for a timer app which would COUNT UP and then STOP with an alarm after the selected period of time had elapsed Fantastic Thank you for making this app This is an extremely versatile timer It counts up counts down lots of different alarms and stopping options multiple timers etc with a big display I primarily use it in my classroom when giving timed math facts tests but the app can be used for any timed speed test I start it and using a document camera and a digital projector zoom in on my iPhone and put the display up for the students to see When they re done they simply write their time on the papers Very easy and very cool Super useful                     Perfect For Teachers aguamaned

This is one of the only apps that has a good stopwatch and timer After the ios 6 update I was upset because it came with a free timer stopwatch alarm and world clock while I already payed a dollar for this app However the capabilities of this app far surpass the capabilities of apple s clock                 Unique expensive and detailed $4rich

I use this app for a rather elaborate stroke recovery process The app has a multitude of options It can be either simple or complicated to set up depending on what your purpose is and how many of those options you want to use I d like to have the capability for the app to randomly select from playlist as one of the alarm possibilities Overall a very sophisticated customizable app                     Excellent App nvwnvwnvw

I ve tried a lot of the pay and free timers and though this is not advertised as a pomodoro timer I ve found it s the best one And if you don t know what I m talking about google the pomodoro technique Here s what makes it useful It has a silent vibrating alarm so I can use it at work and not disturb my neighbors It will have a short vibration every 10 seconds or so after the timer is up so I definitely notice that time is up eventually even if I miss the first buzz Once the timer is up it continues counting seconds So you see 3 2 1 timer rings 1 2 3 This is great for knowing how long you ve gone past on a break or past the end of a pomodoro I find that useful If you put your phone on its side the timer numbers are nice and big so the amount of time left in the pomodoro is always easily visible I don t bother with presets I just change the timer amount and I kind of like that I guess it s the same sort of satisfaction one could feel with a mechanical timer that you always have to wind No it doesn t count pomodoros or track them or email you a report It s just a timer But it s the most useful in terms of actually being useful if that makes sense And I have tried a lot of timers It does do a bait and switch on you asking for a dollar soon after you start and if you want presets and to customize the look of the app that s another couple of dollars And if you keep the timer in the foreground the battery will burn down But that would be the case for any timer So it s not perfect but if you are looking for a timer for the pomodoro technique this is the one                     this is your pomodoro timer bronzemustache

Being in karate calls for bag timing this is where you spar the bag for so long then take a very small break How this app works with that I want to spar 4 minutes then have a 1minute break I set the timer for 5 minutes and use the settings to tell me when there is 1 minute left and make it loop Just like that I am going 4 minutes and then resting one repeat till I feel like stopping Very nice app                     5 Star Without A Doubt Ashleys165

I really like this app but it has closed several times unexpectedly while I was programming and it looses the work I have done It doesn t seem stable Eventually after several frustrating tries I can get it to work but only due to my patience I even saved my work once and the program dropped out loosing the work I had previously saved That was truly upsetting I still give it three stars as it does what I want in the end but the instability needs to be fixed and it needs to truly save your work             Timer App Jshif83

For some reason I thought there would be an hour glass type count down timer with this app instead it s just a simple timer that should be free waste of money since there are many very similar apps out there just like it for free     What a joke jck-reviews
