It s OK not great You can t seem to adjust the volume from inside the app on my iPad Pro accessing the volume adjustment from inside goes to Sound Effects and not volume and the app doesn t change easily from portrait to landscape orientation In my experience it gets stuck in portrait mode             Ok but not super Patzere4

Other reviewers have mentioned this But it bears repeating The timer STOPS if you receive a notification during a timing session That is HUGE flaw in the application and makes it useless unless you never receive notifications Also except for two color options there is so little contrast that reading the digits from several feet away is difficult I suspect the developer has stopped supporting this app as it hasn t been updated in a long time despite clear areas for improvement DON T BUY THIS APP unless you see it has been updated to remedy the issues mentioned above     STOPS if you get a notification poor visibility Mr. Luigi

I use this in the daylight on the side of a track This is the best timer that I have found With that said there are serious problems 1 Numbers need to be way bigger Maybe a user setting to select size Seriously figure out a font that works filling out the entire screen All of it 2 Contrast Let the user be able to select a number color and a background color independently There is so little contrast with the iPad s native low lumen output it is hard to read in bright light If this time could be clearly read at 20 yards under all expected lighting conditions it would be perfect REVIEW Good concept best app relatively of the available timers but if you plan on using this outside or even indoors in bright light forget it             Not enough contrast 3xr3con

I purchased the 99 cent upgreade because I wanted the app to run in the background while I showed the class other apps However when the countdown ends I only get a popup saying the coundown is finished and not the audible alarm This is not what I thought would happen The paid for upgrade should be more specific that while it runs in the background only a popup is given not the alarm Too bad for me another dollar for the developers         No Alarm unless app is running on screen TechTeacher55

I downloaded this because I needed a timer for a speech I was giving All was working fine I set it at 45 minutes and it was counting down nicely Then an alert showed up on my iPad and the timer stopped I didn t know it had stopped because I was into my presentation until I walked over and even after clicking not the alert the timer was frozen So buyer beware If you never get alerts I guess this might work As for me it worked fine for 23 minutes         Has a major bug DR 2008

Because the timer would not continue to count if the app was minimized I bought the 99 cent upgrade Now it does continue to count as expected however the alarm does not sound at the end of the countdown unless it is the active app I m not sure if this problem can be resolved but it would sure be great if it could             No alarm iPad D

I like that we have the second function turned on I use timers for my class so having a large one is useful However I cannot hear the bell at all It needs to be louder             The alarm is too quiet Whiny tongs

We love this as a game timer the timers included in games are always cruddy and the little sand timers you get sometimes stick and you miss that its stuck or that its over this timer is perfect for games its nice and loud and you can set it for as long as you want it to go The kids loved the sound and were fighting to be the one who was timing the turns They thought it was more fun than the game I wish there was a version for iphone ipod so we wouldn t necessarily have to bring the ipad to game night or pass the ipad around the circle so the kids could take turns timing I would spend another buck for one of these for the ipod                     I love this Huitzilopotchl1
