Timely - Time Tracking Made Beautifully Simple

Initially this app couldnt work properly with the website so I could only log hours on the Web but now with this release I am able to start a timer from my iPhone and see it running on my desktop most of the time Its not perfect at that operation yet but I now believe that the developers are committed to working on the app and well see even more functionality in the future              Finally lives up to its promise

Crashes constantly and UI bugs keep getting worse Randomly adds the same default clients and projects multiple times Yuck     Great idea poor execution

They con u into handing over ur personal info and registering with a paid plan The app doesnt even work after the update 1 star is to high Wish I can give it 0     Do not update

I love love love this interface especially the little things If you tap and hold in the top of an entry and drag down all the elements follow nicely when you move back and forth Cant wait for updates                 Wow

Endless loop logging in causes account lock Unlock process failed on Mac and iPhone This was the point I searched for alternatives on macstories I will say this much an old version I used was nice and the screenshots are pleasing     Nothing works switched to Hours app

I was pretty bad at keeping track of my freelance work before I was using an Excel doc and would forget to update it for days then have to look through emailsnotes to figure when I did things Probably cost me from underestimating time Love the app Love the web interface sync Would be great if I could import to Billcom for invoicing                 Excellent timesaving app

There seems to be no way to have it buzz every 30 or 60 minutes so I completely forget its timing Seems like a simple but crucial feature I keep timing things and then of course get busy and forget about the timer Close though I like how simple it is           Could be great but

I dont know how this app made it through QA Serious usability issues with the app as a whole would render this app useless But were saved from most of those issues by the fact that the app crashes if you select any tab other than home and it freezes after a minute or so of use anyway I would love to find a truly simple time tracker but this is definitely not it     Serious Flaws

I use timely for all my freelance work Its helped in invoicing as well as creating estimates Wouldnt use anything else                 Love it

This great little app helps me to set goals for the day and keep track of my hours I love that it reminds me when Ive met my planned time It keeps me on target with my writing goals for the day I also love that it syncs with my apple watch Super helpful                 Stay on target

Im a freelance writer and keeping track of different jobsclients can get a little over whelming I love that this app is straightforward and also has a desktop version It makes blocking out my schedule and adding in projects easy The timing capability gives me a visual of my project loads so I can adjust pricing or turnarounds adequately Being able to individually price projects under specific clients makes keeping track of income and expenses a breeze A must for independent contractors and freelancers                 The perfect companion for my freelancing

I used this app to manage my team actually the desktop app and with this new mobile app they made it even easier to work on your projects and track time UI is great and really use the touch screen the best you can with my iPhone 5 UX is GREAT never wonder how to do something In this app Last the connectivity between the desktop app and iOS app works great for me it was shown instantly probably something fixed from previous reviewsversions I give it 5 stars for the time it makes me save Good job guys                 Perfect for managers and freelancers

I love Timely Its a great program but the app is really getting on my nerves I am forced to sign in every time I open the app It never keeps me logged in even for 5 minutes And the remember me button does nothing This was never a problem until recently           Used to be great

I use this as my primary time tracker for all of my freelance work Its super easy to use and understand and it has been such a huge help with invoicing and marking certain hours as paid I love that I get a super quick snapshot of how much time Ive racked up as I go and the fact that I can seamlessly go from desktop to mobile has been essential for me I love this app                 My one and only time tracker

Great app I think itll be a very useful and the animations are some of the best Ive seen                 Slick animations

I tried creating an account Once I submitted my info the screen rapidly refreshed multiple times and wouldnt do anything I closed the app reopened it and tried to log in but it said my account had been locked I received an email saying that my account had been locked due to too many unsuccessful login attempts The email provided a link to unlock my account but it didnt work It was an interesting ten minute waste of time     Couldnt even create an account

WAS excited Been looking for a creative timer for my work While the app appears fluid and draws you in with clean UI and a simple tutorial its as unstable as water The app crashed multiple times When trying to sign up for an account the app froze I still plan on checking out their desktop browser option But for now the app is completely useless        Yep Crashes

devs I understand you guys want a slice of the 100k a month pie that is professional time logging but this app was supposed to be something which was unique a calendar with built in to do integration You made that aspect of it difficult and confusing and have prioritized the former when there are already many apps who do that job well and have substantial market share Please return to the original project which would be of use to many who need no professional hours counting and billing but very much a central productivity management hub Also the app is slow running ip6 Also dont send me emails asking me to try your app again if it still doesnt do what I wanted it to do in the first place        Transformed into time logger clone

This app although looking very promising does not work on ios 7 Two days after I downloaded it there was an upgrade stating it fixed the issue when in reality it made it WORSE The inability to be backwards compatible simply shows faulty coding I am still waiting for another update before completely deleting the app     Can I give 0 stars

I have used both hours app and timely app fort time tracking Timely app is truly the best out there Not only does it track your time it also helps you budget it By comparing the time you actually spend to the time that you planned it shows you how accurate your estimates are The only pain point in this app is that it requires you to create an account just to use it even though it could use iCloud and to store your time sheets A neat feature to have would be the ability to roll over tasks that arent finished for the day In this app tasks are checklist items that have a duration attached to them If you dont finish a task during the day ie You dont check the task off it should automatically roll over to the next day so you can continue working on it                 Hoping for iPad version

This app has exactly what I need simplicity and backups Any issues Ive had are corrected by the inapp support system                 Simplicity

To say Im impressed with Timely would be an understatement Timely provides what Ive been longing for As a consultant working numerous hours managing numerous projects Ive been looking for something simpler for tracking working hours This surely has been a dreaded task in the past but Timely puts the process as ease I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an efficient simple approach to timetracking On behalf of myself numerous colleagues I thank the Timely Team for their efforts Dont stop                 Timely does it all

Ive been a big fan of Timely since I started using it a few months ago and it was one of the very few tools to take the coveted spot in my daily schedule Id tried countless other systems and this finally seemed to check all the boxes I could see my whole week at a glance forecast the hours I would need and it became effortless to plan upcoming projects Then they completely changed the way it works now everything is task based but their UI just isnt cut out to be a taskbased app I no longer can see how long Ive estimated tasks to take and can barely make out what Im supposed to be working on in the week ahead Sad to see it go     Latest update killed everything that was great about this app

This is such a nice watch app Still looking for the ability to visually see future tasks in terms of height but I got an email from them saying its coming soon                 What a watch app should be like

So far no good I just downloaded the app today I tried opening it 4 times and it crashed Cant even use it What a shame     It just crashes
