Tide Graph HD

Ive used Tide Graph for iPhone for over a year now It is updated regularly and keeps getting better The developer is very quick to respond to questions and suggestions and the app keeps getting better and better This version is no exception The large iPad screen shows a beautiful graph of the tide in horizontal and vertical orientation The new calendar date picker is easier to use and it shows which tide graphs have been downloaded This is very important if youre going to be away from an internet connection later I am very satisfied with this version and you certainly cant beat the price                 Even better than iPhone version

I do a lot of fishing and am was always trying to find an easy way to track the tides at different locations so I can choose where and when to go This app is totally awesome and combines everything I look for in a very easy to use interface Moon Phase Tide Info and the ability to easy scroll through time and dates make this so useful The distance to tide station is also a very useful tool The developersdesigners of this app have done a great job and obviously use their own software because its laid out very well I read below in a comment that the accuracy is off but I check with the online charts and the data was dead on If you are a boater or fisherman who used tide charts and moon phases to plan your trips this app is a must have                 AWESOME

Good graphics which make it a pleasure to use on my iPad But I find myself going back to an earlier purchased Tide App as it also displays the currents Can the developer add currents please              Please add currents

Still one huge flaw which tells me they do not understand tides The range of the charts resets as the range of the tides changes this masks highs and lows It must not reset On the annoying side finding the location I want is a huge hassle naming is not consistent It should be by body of water then name or by county then by name Now it is all over the map or it goes by closest location then next and so on That may work in a moving boat but not from home where I use this to plan Also sometimes the bottom half of the graph is cut off and you have to turn the iPad 180 degrees to get it to reset The serious fault is the graph does not use a constant zero point Minus tides can be graphed the same as 1 foot tides they reset the zero point to the lowest tide of the day You never know by looking without checking the scale The nicest thing I can say about that it is stupid It is very misleading and dangerous        Decent but one serious flaw

If you live in BC dont bother buying this as it only has one station for Dixon entrance     Disappointed

This app is almost perfect a great balance of the information you want to see and to have it easily available My only suggestions might be a favorite section to put your most used stations and a now button I often scroll or switch to other days so one button to go back to the current date and time would be convenient Thanks for the great app              The information you need

The text in upper right portion of tide graph page partially overlaps so that tide times and moonrise times overlap and are not legible I have IOS v7 Tried preferences for plain background display didnt help        Information display bug

I got a network error the first time I ran it Once I turned my wifi off then back on it worked And now that it is working all I can say is WOW I kayak in NYC on the Harlem river and around town Im going to have to get a water proof iPad case Now if I had something to show the currents Id be in heaven The only reason I did not give five stars is because the ugly rope and background graphics are really tacky and distracting I just want to see the graph without all of that graphic fluff I hope they get rid of it in future versions it makes it look like a game Not the useful app that it really is              If you get a network error try this

I already have on my iPhone but it is much easier to see on the iPad I check to see if I can make it under the bridges before I go out 2 for the app can save my antennae Nice work                 Very clear information

The furthest southern point for information is Newport Beach Ca Whats up with that     No info for Southern California

This app is so easy to use It is accurate for tides and currents And a whole lot better than the tide apps that cost                 The best

Ive tried all the tide apps on both the iPad and iPhone and I must say that this is the very best one out there They also have an iPhone version which is the top tide app for iPhone With nearly all 5 star ratings I can understand why But this iPad version is even better The data is very well organized and easy to read I wrote the developer and asked them to add a large moon picture on the iPhone version so I could get rid of my moon software They didnt But they did add it to the iPad version I guess they didnt have room on the iPhone Makes sense now I also like the built in map that shows the tide location This is better than the iphone version which makes you leave the app to see the station on the map Lastly this has a week button which lets me skip ahead instead of having to hit the day button a million times Ive told my friends and they are all getting this app I wish all apps worked this well and were designed so perfectly Kudos to the developer Keep up the good work                 Works perfectly

Please get rid of that rope frame and background image Neither have any use and make the app look cheap Im interested in the tide info without the stupid decoration     Stupid marine motif

Easy enough to use but at least on the Chesapeake there are no ebb current speeds given No listings for Delaware or New Jersey or for the Chesapeake Delaware Canal Not worth 2        No ebb current

I hold a 100 ton Coast Guard Masters license and have been using this program for several years and think it is great However there is a one hour error that is universal to all tides all tide stations sunrise and set moonrise and set after Daylight Savings Time goes into effect In other words the program is not accurate beginning March 13 2011 and going forward Ive compared with other programs like Aye Tides and the error is unique to Tide Graph It is dangerous to use the program after March 13 2011     Warning Daylight Savings Time Error

Have the iPhone version This one is even better Fast startup great visuals love the ability to predict the future Worth the                 Love it

Wonderful program I use it everyday Its accurate and so easy to use The graphic display of the tide is fantastic Go ahead and spend the 199 it is definitely worth it Shows moon phase as well I have it on my iPhone and iPad Best nautical app out there I am very happy with and cannot think of a single upgrade that is necessary Perfect program                 Great App

I saw the screen shot and knew I had to have this What I didnt realize is how well it would work The large tide graph in horizontal mode is fantastic I can move the bubble and get the exact time of any tide level I need this because I have to watch out for tides below 3 in the canals where I live or I could get stuck And that would be very embarrassing for me when I have a bunch of friends on my boat An especially nice feature is the new date picker and how it shows which dates I have loaded graphs for This assures me that I can view these graphs later when I no longer have a wifi connection Of course all you lucky guys that have the new 3G iPad dont have to worry about this But I like my wifi only version just fine P This is by far the best tide app Ive ever seen anywhere on any device The graphics and functionality are a perfect example of how apps should be written to take advantage of the amazing iPad Definitely raises the bar                 The perfect tide app

The graph puts it all in perspective without searching through the tide tables in a newspaper that you cant find when you need it Any waterman will enjoy this                 All in plain sight

Great app for tides but as a fisherman and boater i could greatly benefit from a barometric pressure display It would help with advanced warning of storms and tell me when fish are most likely to bite Keep up the great work              Barometer
