Things remains the best task management app on any platform.

Cultured Code continually makes this App better and better.

Things is a beautifully focused and amazingly intuitive task manager. Other todo applications either oversimplify or are too difficult to use. Things instead offers the perfect balance between ease of use and powerful features. Effortlessly manage ...
I have had Things on my iPhone for several years I feel it is a well designed powerful application though I dont use it because it is more than I really need Recently while reevaluating Things I imported my task list from Reminders Without warning all my data was deleted from Reminders Cultured Code confirmed this behavior claiming it to be a feature designed to save the user the trouble of removing the data from Reminders I would have preferred an option but under no circumstances should the data have been removed without warning This is one small problem with an otherwise excellent app It isnt even likely to affect the majority of users I just feel users deserve some sort of warning and I hope this will save others from losing data              Potential Data Loss Warning
Best things to do app simple design and good alerts                 The best
This app is absolutely wonderful I love the whole philosophy behind the app do what you can do today I really like how the today list not only consists of what is due andor scheduled for today but also what you WANT to get done today That way you can use due dates only when the todo actually has a due date The Scheduled list is also very nice which you can schedule todos to appear in the Today list and also make repeating todos The calendar date picker is wonderful you can set due dates in a snap If you have complex tasks with multiple steps you can create a project and further sort tasks with tags contexts like home and work priority like high medium or low by time or anything else you think of Additionally the Apple Watch app is excellent It shows you all the tasks for Today and you can quickly dictate a new task to the Inbox or Today list I just really love everything about this app and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a todotask manager Give it a try                 Lifechanger
Best app in crowded field Youre gonna like it                 Paul
Been using this app for years and still love it Great way to dump things out of my head and keep track of goalsprojects and tasks Four stars only because some parts are still a little sticky or take one too many steps to execute ie logging an item as done Other than that perfect              Still in love
A little learning curve before you get it After that fabulous                 Great but
This app is awesome for helping me accomplish everything from the day to day stuff to big projects One improvement would be to integrate a calendar on the Scheduled folder this way one can view their calendar and easily see which days are busy and which are not                 Integrate a calendar
Things is probably the most refined todo app out there Underneath it all though its just a list of checkboxes like every other todo app Their proposed workflow for managing your tasks is absurd You are supposed to review every task on your list every day and pick a few to mark as tasks for Today If youre an adult with a complicated life theres no way you have time for that Youre left paying a hefty price for a relatively pared down app Itll be worth it to some but its not an obvious buy I also hit a rather gnarly bug where changing my password made the app crash and burn and it took several days of emailing support to get it operational again A rare black mark on an otherwise polished app           A very nice list of checkboxes
Things is simple too use and perfect for getting things done It has the most intuitive and unintrusive workflow of any GTD app in the Mac ecosystem                 Great App
this is exactly what I was looking for super easy and super effecient                 Awesome
As one might expect both apps are superb However after using both programs fairly extensively my vote goes to Things I use GTD for the most part as my framework for handling projects and actions I find Things to be more intuitive One example is reviewing your list of action items for today Things handles this very simply With Omnifocus the set up is far more complex Even when set up within Omni focus moving actions up or down in the list to prioritize them is much more difficult At times its impossible Things is simple to operate and yet does very complex things While at first glance it appears to be less flexible than Omni focus everything in Things is there for a reason Now that you can sync all of your devices easily my single gripe with Things has been resolved Thats not to say it is perfect There are always minor tweaks that can be made But for me Things is very near perfect                 Things vs Omnifocus
I use Things on my iPhone and Mac and it is the perfect solution for running David Allens Getting Things Done There are great suggestions for implementing GTD on the Things Forum Ive been using this for about two years now                 Getting things done
If you have an iWatch and are if meetings from the beginning of the day until you go home this app is very useful All of the details you input show up on your wrist like phone s meeting IDs etc Also helpful for projects if you have the time to set it up              Very Helpful
As mentioned earlier this app really needs a way to export list and archives or integrate with something like Google docs or export in some sort of way heck even plain text would do I would also love a way to share list with others If there is a way to incorporate that I would easily have this implemented on everyones devices at our office           Its ok missing some pretty big features
My second brain                 Essential
The app is simple beautiful and flexible                 Simply Elegant
I appreciate the balance of automation and usability in this todo list manager The features that make me review my lists a daily review the discouraging of scheduling every todo makes me to interact and think about the things I need to do Reminds me a lot of using index cards in that the benefit comes from review Very pleased                 Love using it
Couldnt live without it Keeps both my business and personal life organized and moving forward efficiently                 Awesome App
I tried many taskto do apps before and didnt used them for one reason or another Things is very very easy to use and got the job done quickly Worth every cent                 Very good
Ive tried other todo programs but keep coming back to Things It does nearly everything I need from a taskproject management system and the sync process between devices works beautifully these days Past review Ive used Things for Mac ever since it was in beta I use it daily and it works great for my needs I might have even gone to 5 stars on this review but the fact that I will have to pay a third time to have it native on my iPad feels like a little much              Does the job
The best if you follow David Allens GTD method                 Most complete to do app Ive ever used
Ive used them all This is the best                 Simple with just the right amount of features
Things has the potential to be the best I have to rate it lower than average because after using for a few months at work I can no longer continue After putting almost 100 tasks into the app and creating details and notes I discovered that there is no way for me to export these tasks out of the app There doesnt appear to be a way to email my list or export in any txt based format Everything backs up the cloud and syncs between iPad and iPhone but I feel there is still a risk that I will lose all the data that Ive put into it and have no recourse for recovery If you want to use this app for keeping track of more important things than just your shopping list then the risk for some people can be devastating perhaps even job changing My other complaint about this beautiful app is there is not a way to access my Things with Windows The developer does not support the OS that most people in the world are currently using and that makes it less than perfect If you are a windows user the only way you can use Things is via your iOS devices This along with the inability to export my valuable data to back it up on my own and being forced to trust that nothing will happen to it in the cloud gives Things a lower rating For any project managers out there you should see this as an unacceptable risk If things can address the things that folks have been asking for then its a five star app        Missing critical Things
I have used several tracking programs and I found most too cumbersome to use if you need to add tasks on the fly This one makes it so easy I appreciate the project feature too and unlike other apps Ive tried the software doesnt get in the way It just works                 Simple and Effective
Ive used countless notepads reminders and calendars to keep track They are often half baked too minimal or overly in depth But this hit the spot It keeps things tight and organized Manageable Entries are a breeze A great balance of speed and function that lets the app blend into the background of my day to day instead of being a chore like other apps You trying organize yourself Try this one friend Its done me solid                 The Standard Simple Elegant Easy
I really have been impressed with the syncing functionality of this app I use it on my Mac my phone and my iPad and Ive not had any sync issues Its great                 Great syncing
Love the interface The project feature is awesome It took some getting used to with the scheduling feature but once I got it it was awesome Great stuff                 Great application
The new major version is now close to 3 years late and they keep adding useless features to the App No location based tasks No custom notification by tasks to do No location based notifications No specific views of tasks Just to name a few missing features But they worked on An Apple Watch Apps which is totally useless instead of delivering Things 30 which is 3y late And then they ask on twitter what features they are missing when people are ditching their apps     Where is Things 30
I use it all the time              Love it
Im now using Things as my GTD app                 Easy To Use
Simplicity cant be beat Blows the builtin Reminders app out of the water I also find myself using it a lot more than Clear even though I prefer Clears UI Things just got it right                 The best Ive found
Works and syncs flawlessly Have yet to find anything capable of replacing its simplicity and effectiveness even for the largest ideas                 Critical to my workflow for years
Ive been using the desktop version for a while but not much improvement in productivity Now that I have an iPhone I can access it all the time                 Highly beneficial app
Excellent                 Have to use it for it to work USE IT
While I wouldnt want to use any GTD app on the iPhone alone this app is the perfect companion to the Things desktop app I look forward to the following planned feature Collaboration between Things users Highly recommended                 Great companion to the desktop app
I love this app but without photo attachment this is a 3 star app All the competition Evernote wonderlist etc all have this functionality I have invested alot in Things but it needs this feature           Should be 5 stars
I love this app so much There is one main feature that I REALLY wish was included and that is the ability to filter lists by more than one tag In other words it is often desired to sort a list by both home and high importance With the app in its current state you can only filter by one tag at a time Very disappointing Please add this feature and the app will be perfect              Please Add Filtering by MULTIPLE Tags
If youre looking for a todo app and like the features offered buy Things The quality and polish have been very high from day one Ive been using the app for years If all software developers had the care and attention of Cultured Code wed be in great shape                 Excellent design quality
I use Things on my iPhone and IPad They sync seamlessly GTD is my choice for organization and productivity Things supports GTD just like it was made for it Totally recommend it                 Things
Finally settled on a gtd app that just works Things is great                 No more app switching
Things guides me in taking care of the myriad tasks that clutter my life I love it It saves me from making mistakes or forgetting appointments Only we users of Things know theres a particular genius in how Things operates Tasks can be set up in clever ways to meet the particulars of any thorny repeating task                 Very clever Life Manager
All is great just would like to see a folder for completed tasks But other than that the app is perfect                 Pretty good
This app seriously stands out amongst the slew of other note taking apps on the App Store It should be so much more popular than it is The app of the same name for Mac complements this iOS app very very well and is totally worth the high price in my opinion you get what you pay for Things manages present and future todo items better than any other service I have seen Im so glad I stumbled across a reviewer online encouraging people to try it So I have to say that the developers of this app really nailed it with this Things is seriously AWESOME at managing current and future todo items and projects unbiased guy not being paid to say this Its got a simple yet powerful interface with fast and RELIABLE cloud syncing I had some VERY bad experiences with Clear syncing between the Mac app and iPhone app thru the cloud and this went on so long after contacting support that I finally just gave up on Clear even though the iPhone app by itself is good at what it does Also Things even uses Siri and Reminders in a beautifully simple way I couldnt be any happier with this team of developers for putting out a quality piece of software that actually syncs over the cloud FAST and RELIABLY Thank you                 Really impressed Siri Reminders Functionality
Thank you                 Clean and creative
Resolución fine                 Fine
Functionality continues to improve but where is Things 3           Getting better
This app is really simple and does the job well                 Everything that I need
This works amazingly well with my iOS devices iPhone iPad as well as even my Apple Watch Ive tried a lot of the other paid and free apps out there and my finding is that none of them come anywhere close This is a great app and well worth the money                 Best productivity app out there
I just started using Things yesterday and I am hooked This is the best productivity app I have used I used OmniFocus for over a year and it is too complicated for what I need I dont have a lot of projects in my life its mostly single to dos Things is perfect for that It separates projects and to dos perfectly Also tags and contexts are more optional than in OmniFocus And you can have more than one tag for an item Something OmniFocus doesnt do This is my new GTD app and has already changed things for me see what I did there                 Finally
Its a simple to use very necessary app I use it daily for my work and personal life You may be wondering why I only give it a 3 out of 5 stars Its because theyre very stubborn and refuse to add time based tasks Im not sure what their reasoning is But having an alert for a task for simple tasks would be a lot cleaner than having it listed like Call x 1230 Plus for convenience if you are busy Because of this one flaw I occasionally have to use Things and a separate app Id rather just use one taskgoal oriented app           Simple and great
