Story telling should leave you wanting more and this book certainly fulfills that desire Painful but worth it                 A brave new world

The story is great and Id love to buy the rest but I cant afford it right now Problem is the app kept prompting me to purchase the restat 2 am It took me a long time to find a setting that looked like it might turn that offnow it prompts me at 4 am I am uninstalling this app because I cant afford to be woken so often        Annoying purchase prompts expensive book

Its a great story so far I love the concept however I have a few issues I live in southern Illinois and rarely travel I will never get to read a single field report The field reports should be readily available for EVERYONE to read Enough people have suggested this that it should be taken seriously Also I like to read my books all at once Waiting for a daily 5 minute read is tiresome I dont want to wait 6 months to read an entire book              Great Story

The only thing that people should ok now before purchasing is that it is an EPISODIC release One testimonial 5 minutes of reading is released per day They can accumulate if you let them and I keep telling myself I will let them but it is so good I cant seem too However there are ways in which the reader can get involved in writing their own storys or field reports as well Cool idea great writing and an integrative story Buy it support it so we can get more of it                 Amazing Storytelling

Excellent Epic However 1 star off for not being able to access field reports 1 star off for only getting 5 minutes of the story a day 1 star off for not plainly telling us what we were getting into It takes a year to unlock the whole story Really If you dont want to do the five minutes a day thing whos even going to remember buying this in a year Its not innovative its irritating Whats more infuriating is the developers refusal to listen to the audience In fact another star off for that Almost every review here says the same thing give us field reports and give us the option of reading it at our own pace Not one forced upon us If I knew all this I would have waited a year for it to come out in book form Which you know it will be But again whos going to remember Its now January 21 2013 and the developers have taken a month off How nice for them Its already hard enough to remember all the charcters and plot points when they deal out a few chapters at a time Now Im completely lost Ive lost all patience with this Deleted     5 Stars Have Lost All Patience Deleted

I love the concept I am usually a cover to cover reader and finish my books in 23 days but this works for me The only problem I really have is that I purchased the rest of the volumes after reading the last testimonial and I have to wait 10 days for the next one Waiting a day I like but a week and a half is too long for todays attention span Hope it is a good read in 10 days but I might end up having to read the first volume again              Very goodbut

Im late to this but glad to be back and to have finally bought the episodes to read and learn more brilliant vision and thinking and writing read it youll thank the writers                 brilliant

Was very excited when I got this app back in November but at the end of the day the story was just disappointing The local testimonials were interesting but they never progressed beyond Chapter 1 But the biggest problem is just that the writing is poor Its a book with a nonsensical story and characters that cannot be identified with        Great concept poor execution

Have just begun and already haunted by this Eager to immerse in the full story For those concerned the core story is selfcontained and available to all The locationspecific field reports are additional material and meant to be collaborative If you have no field reports in your area the app itself gives direction on how to make that happen Enjoy                 Incredible work

Before I pan this please know that I was completely excited about the concept and story And for a while I was fascinated and looked forward to reading each days installment Even had my favorite characters and went ahead and bought the whole shebang Then one day I pulled up the segment and it was chocked so full of the F bomb that I found it unreadable Another day included details from a characters smutty romance novel Then there was the piece detailing how a schoolteacher was tricked by a conman into mbating on video I realize this kind of content wont offend many readers but please dont think this is clean or even PG13 reading material        Mega Disappointed RRated or worse

I became so immersed in this noveleventhappening and was bummed when I made it to the end of the journey If you enjoy Very Good Things this is one indeed                 This is a Very Good Thing

The Silent History is phenomenal It is so much about so much and I cant wait to be writing papers on it                 Art

Incredible concept brilliantly executed Its such a good read and truly pioneering in its form perfect fit for iOS It also allows me to read for fun despite my busy schedule bc I dont need to set aside lots of time per session My gf I are really excited o use the maps feature soon Only criticism should be more transparency re that it costs an additional 799 to unlock the whole thing                 A Godsend

I love the concept of this different way of storytelling and am enjoying the characters and storyline as the plot slowly moves forward through the years However while I appreciate the IDEA of the locationbased field reports I absolutely hate that there are no such reports anywhere near my area the South in the US and that I will never be able to travel to any places where they do exist due to my being disabled I would be willing to pay an additional fee to gain access to the field reports I do understand how that defeats the authors original intentions for the reader to be fully immersed in the book by being in those exact same places where the field reports were written But I have enough of an imagination as an avid reader and believe that I and other notabletotravel readers can still fully appreciate and enjoy the additional stories told through the field reports And because the authors thus far have remained adamant about NOT allowing offsite access to the field reports I can give this app only 4 stars instead of the 5 it truly deserves for its ingenious creativity and innovation in storytelling              Love the concept and story but

Well The Silents might not be But the Silent History definitely is With GPS smart phones and tethered devices narrative has a new level of creativity in stories like this                 This is the future

It might as well just be an eBook Its linear Theres no video audio photos or anything interactive The field reports are cute but apparently not necessary to the story You have to be at the location to read them and even if youre at the location you have to read them right there and cant forward them to yourself for reading later        Dissapointing

The authors of this novel have created something unique Wrapped in a beautiful interface is a medical mystery that reveals itself through first hand accounts The story in itself is enough to keep you coming back but theyve also added another twist You can discover field reports in your area that give you more insight into whats happening making this novel into an interactive treasure hunt I encourage others to read and experience what the creators have put together and I hope they make more sagas like this one                 Innovative and Addicting

Wonderful plot concept and innovative use of a new medium for interactive storytelling Usersubmitted stories in SF are great and fun to go hunt down Im very disappointed however that they were not up front about the additional 8 to access the later stories I still would have bought it but honesty is best                 Brilliant storytelling but a bit dishonest

I really love everything abt this novel the app works like a dream is totally intuitive and beautifully designed the story is engrossing fascinating original and I actually LOVE the delivery system that we cant have access to all the field reports u want to read lots of stuff go buy a bookthis is an EXPERIENCE there are multitudes of FRs Ill nvr get to read but the ones I have read have been enriched by the experience of being in the authors intended location same goes for the one I wrote anyway I hope the authors stick to their guns dont give in to all the whining                 unique engrossing

I had no idea what to expect with this app What a treasure Like a literary puzzle the changes in perspective and voice builds curiosity suspense Unlike anything Ive ever experienced A big unexpected WOW                 Brilliant

This was one of those finds I didnt expect to really draw me in and now Im hooked Its like this new reality but still a believable progression without pushing too hard or not enough I have found myself looking for and imagining how I would deal in these silent groups and its a completely remarkable experience A very highly recommended piece and probably a favorite for a long time to come                 Just Wow

The testimonies are so compelling and keep you craving more every week You really need to be patient to wait for the next installments but theyre always worth it The only thing bugging me is that Ill never be able to read testimonies of people in our time Personally I never see myself going to Russia or Antarctica I barely have time to visit the spots that are only an hour away Still an awesome read nonetheless                 Amazing

my only suggestion is that each field report should be downloaded across devices once youve accessed it from its specific location              smart and well executed

Its hard to talk about the app and the story separately neither would be what it is without the other This is an all around great experience and an example of what both software and storytelling has to offer Worth every penny of the price of the chapters                 Engaging story and beautifully crafted app
