I was hesitant to buy this book as I remember the original Red Shoes not having a happy ending for the poor girl in the shoes but this version changes the ending and theres a happily ever after to the tale Unfortunately the story doesnt have a really strong message as a result but not all books need to have a straightforward message or meaning The illustrations are simple with lovely flow and color The narration and background music are also good My 2 year old daughter loves all the Story Chimes books and we now have 17 different tales from Story Chimes we had a minor issue when the 322 iTunesiPad release came out and the customer service at Siena was fantastic so we buy their apps with confidence The interface for all Story Chimes books is awesome you can turn onoff all their features music narration auto play and its accessible from every page of the book There is a happy ending to this version
What a darling story We just loved the illustrations and the sense of movement of dance steps across the pages I especially enjoyed how we can turn the pages like a real book in the palm of our hands We are excited to check out more StoryChimes Lovely and Sweet
