This app has the simple purpose of being a reference resource for elementary and middle schoolers for every president of the United States of America The app has an index page that displays a miniature portrait of each president with their number and last name When you click on the portrait it displays a larger version of the portrait with the president s full name birth and death dates affiliated political party and their years in office along the left side and a short biography on the other The biographies are generally pretty good though bland and I think some people might bristle at the lack of critisism of some presidents actions even though that s not the point of the bio and the portraits appear to be the official presidential portraits that are made of each president or at least the vast majority of them are which is a nice touch It s also nice to have the president s party and years in office clearly presented on the left While the content is a bit thin it seems like it would be a valuable resource for middle school students in an American History class The app runs especially smoothly and I never had to wait after pressing a button for the app to register my action which is probably due to the lightweight nature of the content but is appreciable all the same The app also has a nice appearance with good backgrounds and color schemes that make it easy to read the text without feeling plain even though objectively it is Ultimately I give this app four stars It is very good for what it is but I feel that there is a lot of room for improvement in terms of the range of content offered While some presidents deserve critisism I appreciate that the app s bios tried to steer clear of that even if in the end they are kinder to some than they may deserve                 A good reference for Middle Schoolers TheRealDruidan

I can t believe the summary of Bush s presidency He is easily one of the worst presidents in history Whomever wrote this crap in on crack It makes it look like he was a superhero that saved the world He was anything but How about a little bit of perspective here please I will not suggest this app to any of my students Get history correct or don t publish anything at all     G W Bush is not superman punkasshippie

I am pretty sure FDR wasn t President from 1797 1945 This is just on of the many dates that are wrong and I didn t even start checking if the facts are right about the presidents because the dates are horribly wrong If you fix the dates then this app would be deserving of 4 to 5 stars but right now giving it two stars is pushing your luck         Correct your date Wickedninja8599

Needs a better navigation system I would wait until the developer adds forward and back navigation with a locked summary title area It severely limits the ease of the learning experience What should be a joy and fun to navigate is actually a chore Also the icon title for the app is missing characters As the developer indicates the info is all from the web The developer should try to add content from other sources as well to make it less of a cut and paste app     eParent AppFind
