If youre familiar with the cardboard version by Minion Games youll have no problem picking this right up Even if youre not familiar with the original reading the provided rules which are amply illustrated with examples should be no problem for anyone who calls them self a gamer The graphics are good and the music adds subtly to the atmosphere without being intrusive Only thing that keeps it from 4 stars are the missing Nations and Second Stage expansions              Excellent and underrated adaptation

The ui needs some work but regardless playing is still fun and with only a bit of polishing thisll be a masterpiece The only true downside is the need to add async multiplayer                 Clunky but great potential

Interface is clunky If you dont know how to play its nearly impossible to learn through the app The rules are a simple PDF import not searchable There is no tutorial So much potential I know the kickstarter for this failed and the lack of funds probably hindered the devs ability to devote dev time But man to charge 699 for what is at best an incomplete experience Not good        This is a Beta at best

Im a huge fan of this game but the port looks like a v10 prototype The board slides around and makes things difficult to see The buttons and text are impossible to read Nothing snaps into view and you can manipulate objects you should not be able to manipulate     Worst board game UI Ive seen

I am updating my stars to 2 as I emailed app support and they wont even respond I have the physical board game and we play all the time I saw this and had to get this Most of my issues have been already posted but here goes 1 Very poor layout Very clunky and very easy to accidentally perform wrong move Other games have taken larger board games and made them very good with the Iphone check out Waterdeep 2 No safe feature this is a no brainer for the offline game i mean did should we even have to tell you 3 Not able to zoom in some areas the log file is good but so small there is no way to read it and useless 4 The AI actions are so fast that in a game you have to stop what you are doing and look at each move again take a look at another good example Talisman you can adjust the ai speed 5 Online game basically useless no public server again no brainer I am also in the software support industry and if my customers tested this they would come back to me and say ok good but where is the final release Obviously no OAT operational acceptance testing and was rushed to market I can only hope that they are reviewing these but I encourage everyone to still send their comments to app support        Mixed reviews

Totally unplayable on iPhone He just took what was probably a decent iPad game interface and shrunk all of the images and text to an iPhone screen Not worth downloading     Unplayable on iPhone

I was so excited to see this game make the digital leap to iOS That excitement quickly left when I opened the app and saw the interface the tiny console with text I had to zoom in to read a rule book thats hard to navigate no tutorial no save mode This feels like a beta at best There is no comparison to other great board game translations in iOS I would not recommend anyone purchasing this game until a major update Very disappointed     Not ready for prime time

It is not a bad game once you figure it out I had to read the rules several times to understand it Once you get the rules it has potential It is a typical worker placement game ie Agricola Le Havre or Lords of Waterdeep The interface needs polish For example you should be able to touch the screen without building pieces shifting A tutorial would really help new players              Has potential if you have patience

I was excited to see this finally hit the App Store Love the art style and the music is rather soothing A bit of a learning curve but very enjoyable If you are in the market I highly recommend picking it up It is so choice                 Board game on the go

Love the game Interface is fine Easy to learn if you watch You Tube Tutorial do a search What I dont like is no public lobby for Multiplayer You have to know the name of the game you want to join We need better matchmaking for Multiplayer games please                 No Online Play To Speak Of

I was very excited to find this game available as I own the physical board game and enjoy it quite a bit Its a worthy effort and hopefully updates will only make this better The interface is quite clunky and even if you know how to play the game there are a few quirks to understand the undo isnt always available the worker pieces often overlap each other without a clear indication of how many workers you have left etc The AI seems quite weak too as I was able to win 2 game very easily And I havent tried the online option yet           It works but

The game looks like fun But the iPhone port is unusable Every action requires tapping on buttons that are a quarter of an inch square and positioned right next to each other The game space while pretty is a giant image that you have to pinch and zoom far far in to do anything with There are console messages scrolling by in the upperleft corner in a font that is far too small to read The cards and counters are illegible unless zoomed in even though theyre in theory big enough for readable icons because no one put in the effort to design versions that would work on a small screen And theres no tutorial no help icons not even an iOS version of the manual just a PDF that you have to read inapp in a buggy viewer that doesnt even take up the full screen Oh and good luck consulting it once you start a game because theres no option to exit out to the main menu This is am embarrassing port Maybe they tested it on an iPad but its clear that no one asked whether it works on an iPhone     Unplayable on an iPhone

The board game is amazing It is an instant classic strategy game I was eagerly awaiting this app but ended up a bit disappointed If you know how to play the game then the app is fun but lacking If you dont know how to play already Good luck taking it all in and making sense of it The app is lacking the following intelligent AI open lobby multiplayer for anyone to join general organization of board and pieces game expansions and general guide to what means what To touch on the AI I got this game to be a challenge It is not The AI has only one difficulty and they are dumb That said this is an amazing board game so I am eagerly awaiting updates This app has the ability to be awesome I will rerate if it gets updated Bottom line At this point just buy the board game and play with some friends           Great game ok app

This is a fantastic board game and a promising app but its just too buggy to give it more than two stars If the devs are listening they need to clean up the interface allow saving between sessions and improve the AI This could be a great game with a little more effort        Promising

This game is a disaster from start to finish To begin with there is no tutorial That is bad enough but the rule book is incomprehensible and I have a doctorate so it isnt from a lack of reading ability Once you start playing you quickly come to realize that the game doesnt play anything like what the rule book describes I was only able to put a worker in the university to get a scientist Then all I could do was put another worker in the university or put one on the repair site It then tells me to pick a building to repair but will not allow me to do so As best I can tell you need a construction worker to mine yellowcake and you need yellowcake to get a construction worker Eventually I just tried placing each of my types of workers on to each of the spaces on the board only to find that I cannot move anywhere ever I then sit back and watch the AI make all his moves and Im back to being able to do nothing Needless to say Ive deleted the game and I hope to save you the 7 that I wasted on this betatrash     Stay Away

The app is a very faithful port of the board game and plays just fine I enjoy the game and the AI is decent at the highest difficulty There is one minor and one major issue The minor issue is that dragging pieces from your spot near the board over to the main board can be a pain I sometimes drop a piece along the way or dont drop it exactly in the necessary spot and have to go get it again Slightly annoying but not a big deal The major issue is dropped games Ive had several offline games disappear if I dont play the entire game in one sitting I tried an online game against bots after leaving the game for a couple hours I tried to rejoin my online game and it told me the game was full This game works great if you can play it in one sitting but if you have to leave it for more than a couple minutes beware        Enjoyable but flawed

Needs a more streamlined interface that doesnt make you move cards around when youre trying to move the screen and pinch and zoom No way to save games already in progress Maybe a pop up menu to hide and view your and others boards A counter for how many workers available It feels beta Quite clunky while still enjoyable Very hard to play on a small screen           Great game development in progress

I love this board game but the app is pretty bad The worst part is not being able to save a game to return to later        No save feature
