Played this all the time when it came out Now it wont even go to the title screen without crashing Patch it up to keep it running for new iOS     Dated

Like Touch Arcade said its a great throwback to old school classics like Super Metroid I picked it up weeks ago when it was 399 and Im still playing it its pretty big in scope Im almost sorry to see it drop to 99 cents It probably means it couldnt find an audience and sales were low so they were forced to drop the price Its a really shamethis game is quality                 For 99 centsits a no brainer

Ok so I had my doubts about buying this game but I decided to give it try So far its the most addictive game in my itouch and I cant stop playing it Buy it Its really worth the 399 Ps where do you get the lvl 2 and lvl 3 explosives                 Awesomeness

I think you need to talk to the guy at the store so you can buy equipment and get diving places Then you click on the boat and choose to exit and pick the diving spot on the map                 For people who need help

Bought it for only 99 but I think I could pay 399 its really worth that beautiful graphics challenging gameplay interesting story I love the moments when devs have put the jokes that describe themselves like a pirate that has a drawn hat but he wants you to find another so you ask why if he has one so he sais that someone was too lazy to create him without and many many others thats great that give you an entertainment for hours                 Great offer

First off my review is not fake and I have nothing to do with the developers of this game The dude that wrote the review after mine must have some sort of head injury This is a casual game folks Its not meant to be bloody or gorygeez Im with those who say that theres not enough games like this one I have really enjoyed this game Also like others I look forward to MORE PLEASE How aboutvadding more islands If I could change anything about the game I would probably alter the controls because of the volcano area They are not smooth or accurate enough to deal with that type of precision play This game in my opinion is way too casual enjoyably so to have that bit of frustration Luckily thats only a very small part of the game but an integral one at that Im really surprised that some people are having trouble with the app itself and with getting started Hopefully most people realize you should always restart your device after downloading apps For those having trouble getting started the boats will take you to the dive sites but first you have to go to the dive shop by touching the swirling circle and following the sign posts The dive shop keeper will give you your first quest Any time you see that means its something to interact with Also dont worry aboutbe in a hurry to get your explosives because youll get them when you need them The level 1 explosives were found in one of the caves but the level 2 and 3 were given by the dive shop owners on the 2nd and 3rd islands You do NOT need them right away because you are SUPPOSED to go back through those areas with new missions Just relax and follow the mission instructions given at the dive shops Nice work developers many thanks                 Love it Read 4 HOW TO INFO explosives

It seemed like a fun game for the first 3 minutes until my ipod crashedBIG BOO First off I had a lot of problems installing and when it did install it did not have an icon I had to get to it from my search screen Once I started playing it crashed my ipod after about 35 minutes of play Thankfully my touch is working now but I deleted it Not taking that chance again     The Deep

Great game no crash problems on my iPhone at all The only problem Im having is finding explosives It would be 5 stars if there was a tutorial or some kind of how to section Overall a very good game a good but for the 099 for sure              Love the Deep

Acro47 I think that one guy who was one to last that tried to help he said you need to go back to store and talk to the guy until you deplete the story Then he will give you islands to visit You mentioned that you clicked Sapphire Keys that is onland where the store and docks are You should have seen umI think its called Pellican Rocks or something But it will be a tiny little island Try again pleaseI swear you wont be sorry Um Im over 40 yo And I have to agree with you it IS a little difficult trying to get to the first expedition but once you do it will all fall into place after that and be fun and enjoyable Hopefully the devs might read this and make a little change Im gonna check back to see if you tried it again so definitely post if you ever get out Feb 10 2010 I had the same troubles too I am pretty sure you have to talk with the guy then after you exhausted all conversation you will see an exclamation mark over his head and boat click the boat exclamtion mark and then it will ask are you sure you want to leave I know at first I thought it was asking do I want to leave the game but click yes because you are not going to leave the game You are going to leave out on the boat to your journey Once you get past the part of trying to figure out how to play its a great game I love it Now is there anyone out there who can help me figure out where the level 2 3 explosives are I cant find them anywhere Im on the part where there is a whirl pool and Im trying to help the drunken sailor find his hat bottle of grog and the book I found all the stuff all though I cant get my hands onto the book Its just not accessible it seems If you can give a little help with that it would be be greatly appreciated Thanks And I hope I was of some help on trying to get going on the dive to folks out there                 Help for problems

This is the game that convinced me that ratings on iTunes are bogus The game is expensive crap Very simple sprites move around blinking Hard to tell whats background and what isnt particularly since your character can get stuck permanently as in bug in a piece of background that serves no purpose Buyer beware and Apple get your act together     Apple needs to fix its rating system

SO MUCH FUN dont listen to the negative reviews BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT Oh and I finally figured out how to get the explosives                 Awesome game

I picked up Zombeat about a month ago and that was such a blast by 3G and now The Deep OMG What a beautiful game nothing like it in the app store the visual quality and gameplay totally show off what an iPhone game should be Kudos to the game developer 3G Studios they really upped the bar for future iPhone games this game is so good it should be on the consoles wink wink The open sea adventure is perfect for pick up and play Im haveing a blast finding the quest treasures and just seeing the new environments Its a great game well worth the seems to have a lot of gameplay I have over an hour invested and still on the first island                 The 1st real game designed for the iPhone Awesome job 3G

Ciarab1969 I have followed every step suggested I have exhausted conversation with Steve on the dock and the old guy in the dive shop I click the over Steves head and get the same dialogue over and over I click the circles and they take me nowhere I click the over the boat it says Are you sure you want to exit and I click Yes It then shows 3 groups of islands but only one has a name it says Sapphire Keys The other two islands have no titles you cant tap on them they are dead If I click Sapphire Keys it takes me back to the dock I have reported a problem and well see if I get response from devs Thanks for trying to help I appreciate your time and Im older than you maybe thats my problem lol Ciarab1969 thanks for trying to help but did not workIm not kidding and not crazy but this is useless I started new game took me to Steven and the boat I clicked on the on top of the boat it said are you sure you want to Exit and I said YES It took me to the map I clicked on Sapphire Keys and it takes me back to Steven the boat There is simply no game to play here it must be for iPhone only and I have an iPod Touch so I am deleting it and will hopefully not buy anything from this company again Its ridiculous to be this difficult to play a game This is one big 4 ripoff     TRIED EVERYTHING

First All of these other reviews are fake I thought this game would be amazing but I was sadly mistaken Its absolute crap Its unrealistic and its impossible The pictures are very deceving The controls are stupid and why does pretty much everything have a face And theres no blood when you get hit by a shark or anything else All you do is loose oxygen There is also extremely annoying music that is constantly playing Oh and its impossible to get money Im sure glad I only spent 99 on this crap DO NOT BUY I REPEAT DO NOT BUY     Awful

The ratings for this game are really high for what it is This developer also makes the game Bloodlines It has bizarrely good reviews that dont remotely describe the game Apple please take notice     I agree with SongNSoOn review

I used to to play this game on my old IPod loved it Now with the new IPhone 5 the app will not even open If you are not going to update the app make it useable on the new devices you should remove it from the App Store Also if you click on app support it takes you to a page that needs flash Really We all know that Apple does not support flash     Not compatible with IPhone 5

This game is so fun the adventure is really long compared to other games like it on here And for all the people who dont like it well your just gay so wat if it doesnt have blood not everything has to be violent to be fun and if you think it does well get some help So I cant think of anything wrong with it you should buy it                 Sooo Funnn

I bought this game before the sale started and Im happy that I did because its probably one of the best apps out there The game is simply beautiful with its colorful backgrounds and sea wild life Music score suits the dive spot so there can be tropical sounds as well as adrenaline pumping tracks As you can see from the last screenshot there is plenty of stuff to do Im 94 through the game and I played 3h and 30min The best thing for me are multiple endings and the fact that you can replay the game with all of the secret and cool stuff that you collected The only thing that I would like added is an autosave after we collect an object that is necessary to continue the story because the areas in which you move are pretty big and there are some places where you can quickly die and thus lose all that you collected before Still I cannot stress enough that you should get this for 099 because its one of the best games in that price range                 Amazing

Wonderful graphics excellent music smooth controls dynamic analog being my favorite choice RPG elements fun exploration adventure humor variety styleneed I say more                 Very Cool

Im an old school gamer and this fits the bill to a T Great gameplay tons of fun                 Metroid meets St Thomas

I want to start off by saying this game is truly one of the best ones out there From the humorous character dialogues to the fitting beautiful music the Deep is pure quality There are some improvements Id like to suggest One is to autosave whenever you exit the game instead of reaching the end of each level Ive seen other users leave same suggestions so it may be worth it to include in the next update One bug I seem to encounter once in a while often enough to become bothersome is that in some hidden paths the diver gets stuck in some unseeable groove that I cant maneuver out of no matter what direction I turn him in I have to exit out of the app then start it over again Which brings me to my next suggestion which is to add an option in the pause menu to return to the main map If I get lost or stuck in a level I want to be able to switch levels without restarting the entire app              Really great

Very explorative I love this game Great dialog as well Look forward to future updates New level perhaps I would buy new levels via in app purchase if the price is right                 Metroid

The Deep for the iPhoneiPod touch is a great addition to my library If youre like me and you like open world puzzle solving epicstory games then this game is perfect for you The game works very smoothly on my iPhone 4 and I havent experienced any lags or crashes Additionally game has really good grapics as well as some really catchy Caribbean music Controlling your diver is not difficult at all You simply control your diver with the on screen analog stick There are other control options as well The storyline in the game kept me quite amused until the very end mostly since many of the ingame characters that you talk to are wacky and memorable as well as the upgrades that you can purchase from them by collecting treasure underwater All in all The Deep is a great game for those looking into an adventurevacation game for the iPhoneiPod touch My only gripe is that it really needs game center achievements Otherwise highly recommended I really hope the devs consider a sequel                 A Perfect Mini Vacation

Im stuck on the part where I need to help the lady in the store in sickle bay I cant find her turkey baster Ive searched beluga bay and the belly of the beast for hours When I could not find it I figured that I needed the level 2 explosives and searched all the diving locations and stores for them I could not find them and now Im stuck Could someone please write a review explaining what I should do next        I need help

Graphics are great The humor is awesome I really like this game but I just have a problem with moving my diver Some times I have to drag repeatedly over the stick to get him to move correctly But its easy to overlook Terrific Game I would of paid at least twice as much              Pretty Cool
