This app crashes constantly and is horribly slow on the iPad1 You cannot zoom in enough on the maps There is no extra value then to just google the maps online and look at them Furthermore there is no index at all So if you are looking for a certain region you would have to go through each and every map Not that I was expecting an index by town but at least an index per map would be nice It would be nice to see a company that actually tests their apps before they put it in the app store for For this quality it should be free

I really enjoyed this app and you will if you like old maps I read some other reviews complaining of its performance maybe Im just lucky but I did not have crashing problems It does not have an index but was not expecting it as this is old maps not google maps And its just 099 which is quite cheap The zoom and image quality could be better but I think is good enough unless you want to print a poster out of it The only think I miss I wish it had some more info on each individual map I love it to show my kids so they learn how maps were done before and the different borders back then I think is a great reference and educative tool I much rather use apps to show my kids than having to be browsing on the internet Very interesting love it to show my kids
