Textfree for iPad

I thought this app was a fake I texted my bff and she got it I was so happy Now I can text my mom Is that creepy Anyway thanks                 I thought this wouldnt work

Ive used text free for several years This most recent upgrade is clunky uses too much screen space for borders and decoration is slow has an awkward virtual keyboard and is generally not as effective as the earlier versions     Not an improvement

I had this on my iPod touch an it work better                 Its ok but cant get pictures or see if u sent one

Simple number family connection daily absolutely the very best option for fixed income seniors and avings There was a glitch on the PC in the scroll bar inoperative but still me with communication ability Minor issue AND Pinger no longer promotes for Desktop PC so not much lost you know                 Lifesaver

The app runs well enough the only issue i have is when my music stops playing whenever i receive a text Then i have to re open my music app and restart the track Please fix that and i will rate 5 stars        Pinger text free

Amazing app for years When Ive been without phone I can use this if I get to WiFi Somehow I build up points now and then and my son can call me for a couple minutes Not sure how I build up points but I do I have contacted support a few times with questions and they have helped me every time within hours Best app out of hundreds I have downloaded Thank you text free I have recommended you too many and they now use it to communicate with me                 Ms

I do not have a smart phone but wanted to be able to text my kids They told me about TF and now I use it all the time Great app                 Text Free saves money

This app is very reliable I use it almost every day and I dont see that many ads                 Best ever

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP IF YOU HAVE AN IPAD SEE REASONS BELOW 1 Every time I send a picture message the entire app shuts down 2 Doesnt even let me see what I sent in the picture message 3 I get random calls from random numbers 4 Obviously my number is being shared stop 5 Two messages to type in length is not enough At least make it three 6 The app shuts down randomly 7 Theyre right the iPhone version is a TAD bit better 8 Im suppose to be given minutes It doesnt even give me the option to call 9 When Im receiving a random call itll pop up on my lock screen when I swipe right to answer it it brings me to the app That is it Doesnt let me see who called or anything 10 When I send a message long enough to fill the two message space given it is sometimes sent to the other number jumbled up and unreadable 11 Even without a ringer if I leave the app up while I play my music every time I get a text my music shuts off It cancels my music app completely actually not even giving me the option to hit the play button and returning the song from where it ended 12 Not updated in what a year Unacceptable Seriously I use to think this was the best app Now its sht Fix these easytofix mistake and Ill consider not going to Text Now Or ANY OTHER texting app for that matter     Really This is the best you can do

Dont understand why there is a limited letter amount for texting Also the more you type the smaller the letter box space is so you cant even see what you wrote Fix this and it would be a great texting app        Limited letter amount for texting

This app only lets you text when you have WIFI And what if its an emergency I think it needs an update           Worst app ever

This used to be one of my favorite apps It allowed me to communicate with family friends close and far away parents of students players I see developers indicated the notifications are fixed finally NOT Just this morning I missed my sister and my daughter who are no longer available My daughter may not be available for days due to where shes at right now It doesnt make sounds every time andor may not show the red dot or notify me if Im in another app like it used to Frustrated Pics still close the app Every Single Time More frustrated Now this morning I no longer can see what Im typing The white line is gone Ive been able to retract the keyboard bring it back making the typing line reappear Not this morning Even more frustrated Yes this iPad has been updated Yes this app was downloaded again Nada More than frustrated FYI this is the third time Ive attempted to send this review Ive used a nickname already taken so instead of letting me make a new nickname it makes me start over Select all copy so you can just paste without having to retype everything Soooo much more than frustrated        I think not

Does not allow me so call or answer calls Doesnt let me sends photos cuz it lags     Sucks

Im not sure if this happened with the new iOS update but now I can no longer receive or send picture messages I used to send and receive them with no trouble Then it would crash the app with the update that came before this and now I keep getting an error message saying something didnt go through You should fix this yo              Cant picture anymore

Texting is great When I dont have service on my real cell phone my iPad has wifi so I can still communicate on the go My only downfall is pictures causes a crash Other than that great app           Great Texting App Poor picture sending app

When I attempt a txt msg attach a pic the ap shuts down I never receive a confirmation msg that it was even sent Its great in theory but Im afraid it didnt work very well for me     Confused

When you type the keyboard blocks the message line and you cant see what your typing     Horrible

I have this app on my old iPod Works great I can add phs to my contact list I da added the app to my iPad and most of my contacts carried over but I cant add any new ph contacts Theres just no place to do that You have to have their email address If I want to email someone thats what I have email forwhats the purpose of txt free if I have to email Am thinking of uninstalling this inefficient appplus your is only good for 30 days Whats the point        Not so great

Please update your app so it stops crashing on my iPad It crashes when I send a picture it crashes when I scroll up to load past messages and it crashes when someone sends a video It never used to do ANY of tense things when I got the app last year Please take the time to update and keep the app relevant        HEY PINGER INC

I have had this number for three years and the reception usually echoes or the app closes when I try to text the app closes Frustrated after all this time still Which the people at pinger would fix all there bugs     Booooo

The first main issue I have with this app is that picture messaging does not work it use to for some time but then all of a sudden it doesnt want to function like it used to Also sometimes I do not get notified when a new message comes in or it appears as read I have to manually refresh the app to view the new incoming messages additionally when you are trying to load old messages to view them it takes a long time last but not least the basic blue with white color of the layout is boring Please give us options to change this as there is some people like me who prefer a black background with different colors of text Other than that the app is my favorite           Lots of Issues

I dropped my Droid Turbo in the toilet and using this app to stay in touch with close friends Family I even got to pick my own cell number out of 10 choices Its been a lifesaver                 Lifesaver

my dad sent me a video message yesterday and it came through but I had the app opened up all night last night even when I was asleep and it STILL didnt load thats around 12 hours of loading        Cant get message

I dont understand why I cant even leave the app and listen to something Fix this problem I want to have my radio podcast on and the text message app open           Text turned off the sound

This is my second best app to use only I cannot send or receive pictures i use text now to send and receive pictures I am in love with both but text now is the one I use more frequent              One out of 2 best apps

This app is very useful and works well but I had problems sending pictures I tried resetting my iPad but Id did nothing it would send the pictures after but it would still crash also he numbers are formatted wrong                 Great app but just a few small problems

pinger should fix all the pinger apps whenever i send pictures they never get it i want to watch the videos my friends send me but i cant           it should let us watch videos

I have used probably every version of his program trying to find the most reliable one Unfortunately none of them are Are they better than nothing Yes but this iPad version in particular has its issues While texting does come through it is not always on time Picture messaging closes the program every attempt to use it and why is there no voice option The phone version is updated regularly offers the same texting options now offers picture messaging tied to the number instead of some weird email address that no one can remember as opposed to the one shown in the account info when you check that was wrong I have an iPad and want to use this program I cant when it isnt even up to par to the phone version This hasnt even been updated in over a year That is far too long for an update when monthly updates go to your phone app Id go so far as to call that unacceptable So please Update this program and get it up to par with your phone version I dont think that is asking too much        Not as good as the phone version

Grrrrrr this is irritating fix it        Why cant I receive texts from social media apps

I havent been using my account as much lately I admit it but tonight they took my number away and gave it to someone else the message said In the past there was always a message to say if you dont use your number in the next ten days you will loose it but not any more Sad No I dont want a new number my friends have the old one Guess this app and I will part ways after many years What a stupid system to suddenly end the warning messages     Deactivated without warning

Usually this is a great app to text people with that dont have apple products but lately every time I click on this app it crashes and foes back to the home screen PLEASE FIX           CRASHES

Ive been using this for about 6 months It was the only one I found that didnt require you to have a phone which I dont The problem is these texts dont seem to go through as fast as regular texts So you cant really count on it for anything important Therefore my 2 star rating But Ill keep using it until I find something better        So So
