The TeXiT is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 0.1 MB to download. The new TeXiT app version 1.02 has been updated on 2014-11-19. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Here is the app`s compatibility information: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 4.2 or later.

For the twelve people who want a drop of TeX on their iPad this will do nicely Maybe the app description should spell that out Don t touch this thing if you don t know how to use TeX A couple of helpful features errors are handled well as much as possible is typeset A bar with common TeX symbols floats above the keyboard how the heck would we find backslash otherwise Use of screen space could be much better how about a bigger entry field with an option for larger text you youngsters a few more years and you ll know exactly what I mean Not exactly sure why I need any tex on the iPad but weirdly reassuring its there             Fine KA Curlee
