One more feature would greatly improve this app When you drive down the road many of the historical marker signs include a reference number for that sign I would like to just enter that number and retrieve the markers text and location           Needs one more feature

Would be a great app but the county listings go blank once you select a county and then try to go back to the main list Tried to contact app support but their website fails to load leading me to believe there is no more app support Also several markers in my area are not in the right gps location           Buggy

Also had crashes after update but followed authors instructions in the description Works like a charm and did not have to repurchase Fixed a bug where certain markers would not open and graphics are better now Best markers guide hands down                 Must reinstall after update to v12

We do a lot of traveling and this app has allowed me to learn more about the rich history of Texas                 Great App

The graphics are crisp and very responsive There is a new map satellite and hybrid view of the state A new list view that shows all the the counties and then if you click a county you will see a list of all the markers sorted alphabetically with the name marker number nice touch and the year dedicated Next to each marker that you have viewed is a little check in the marker icon to let you know you have viewed this marker There are new backgrounds on each screen that add a nice feel to the app The image for the Texas Marker has been updated and has the familiar Texas Marker shape but now there is a brush steel look The database has been updated There is a new speed search so if you know the marker number you can enter that and go straight to the marker another nice new feature This still by far the best Texas Historical Marker app for the iPhone Joel                 I Love this Updated Release

Be patient Work with the author if you initially have a problem If I can use it anyone can                 Works great

I love the idea of this app but the execution isnt there yet Some markers near my house are shown in the wrong location in this app but are correct on the Texas Historic Sites Atlas The text of the markers is at least correct The address for the markers only shows in the map view if you get there from the county list The markers have turned green briefly to show they were viewed but not stayed that way And it crashes a lot and seems laggy in the map view I hope this app gets updated to correct its issues Id also love to be able to search for nearby markers or search near a pin or route More details about the markers from the atlas would be great too        Marker fan

App used to work great but now just get a nice picture of the Capital building and then it crashes If you can fix this issue it is a great app     CRASHES

Runs flawlessly You zoom in to see the markers close to you indicated by the red pins Pins turn green after youve read the entry Used it extensively on a recent trip Highly recommended              Does What It Says

I deleted and restarted like you said because of the crashing now you what some more money I know is just a few dollars but its my 2 bucks Smart move make the app fail get more money I dont like crooks GOOD BY     Just wrong

The better of the two Texas Historical Marker apps out there There is another app out there that does the same thing that this does for twice the price The other app is flashier has just a little more information but does not have the ability to locate you where you are on the map You have to know what towncounty you are currently in With this app you can be driving down the road without knowing really what town or county you are in locate yourself and the marker you just passed and read it on the run Absolutly GREAT app fo just a buck Its simple and easy to use                 Like the GPS feature

Installed the update and now all the app will do is CRASH I see a nice pic of the Capitol Building and then back to home screen it goesevery time     CRASHES

This app works perfectly driving out 290 towards Fedricksberg with the wife in the Coach No room on the road to pull over to check out any of the several historical markers we see Jumped on the app store to see what we could find and found 2 different apps This one works flawlessly using google maps The others out there have no gps based mapping This app is great we could see what was ahead of us on our journey and decided if we wanted to stop                 Great app

Really like the app But some of the markers show up in Mexico on the map view One Bastrop county marker shows up way south of Big Bend NP Whats up with that Otherwise its a great app                 Ben

I can not get the county list to appear screen blank     No County list

This is a great app Ive been using it for reference and to help plan a road trip for about two weeks now Id like to see a keyword search to look for names of people that might be on a marker                 One of my new favorite apps

Im so bummed because I was really hoping this would work I would have loved it The map is so slow and when I zoomed in it couldnt handle it and closed up on me Crashed I am really disappointed that I gave 1 to this Wish there was an update to fix glitches        Bummer
