Don t listen to that one star reviewer Seriously I can t believe she s even reviewing the same app I use This app is exactly what I was looking for I didn t need a grade book I didn t need a seating chart generator All I needed was an app that allowed me to EASILY keep track of student behavior and participation and EASILY convey that information to parents this app does just that The best part about the app is that it s fully customizable You can change just about everything to fit the needs of your classroom We all have apps we d love to tweak ourselves to make them just right for us but I m not aware of another app that lets me do that especially to the extent that Teacher s Assistant does With the other apps I end up having to tweak my needs to fit the app Better still the developer seems to actually listen to recommendations from his users and actually make improvements based on those recommendations Would love to be able to sync between devices but a minor inconvenience Overall great app Get it Recommend it to your teacher friends Shoot you could probably even use this app for managing clubs activities office volunteers employees youth groups etc                     Just What I Needed TL;DR: Get this app!

Many of my teacher friends have this app But we would love if we could do a weekly report card to be sent home every week to get signed by parents Is it possible for an update to include a weekly progress note on behavior that is parent and student friendly Is it possible to get a chart where all students can quickly be printed out on a weekly sheet As of now you can print out all student behaviors from the past but you cannot print out a weekly report and the report is rather small and not parent friendly             Printable parent friendly weekly progress note Kara xyz

This is a great app with terrific customer support Please disregard my earlier 3 star rating Vr 5 7 runs well on iPads with iOS 6 I ve used it on an iPad4 and a Retina Mini without issue It will not run on my original iPad1 OS 5 1 1 but the App Store now downloads vr 5 6 for older iPads which I am happily using Please note that the two versions are not compatible However both versions are fully customizable and handle my large student load well 550 students in 23 classes weekly I plan to use TAP and my old iPad1 again next year Thank you Chris for your awesome and timely help and support                     A Power App PGS@pses

I purchased this app at the beginning of the school year with the hopes that it would help me record behaviors and reduce the amount of paperwork I tried using it for two weeks and gave up The main reason I purchased this app is that I wanted to record instances of behavior as they occurred I guess it works if you have time to stop and navigate through the multiple steps it takes to actually log the behavior but in a real world setting this app is pretty much worthless Maybe the developers could look into an update that would allow the user to simply tap a name and choose a behavior from a pre populated user created list Right now you have to go through a convoluted number of steps before you finally are able to log the behavior not good when you are in the middle of a lesson or walking your class to and from your homeroom I like the app and I think it has great potential but the user interface is really bad Feel like I wasted my money Still looking for something that will allow me to record behavior in a manner that does not stop instruction Also the import function does not work for me Waste of money as far as I m concerned     Needs work Knuckles_119

I teach half regular ed math and half special ed math I needed something to quickly record student behavior during class Both regular and special ed require a lot of detailed tracking and documentation these days and this app is perfect for this I was afraid of the price but it is worth MUCH more than the 12 99 I paid I love the email capability and the integrated picture taking ability Plus I got a new iPad and was able to easily transfer all my old data I can t imagine a better app for documentation Love it                     Highly Recommend Mrs. Math Teacher

One of the best apps for behavior tracking but I ve had to do so many edits etc to the various fields drop boxes to really store the data i need for conferences interventions etc some suggestions 1 Multiple photo options 2 When adding multiple students to an action ability to edit the action that applies to all OR 3 A copy action option to recopy an entered action multiple times that would save SOOOOOOOO much time Which i have very little of 4 Personalize backgrounds fonts It just makes it look nicer Automatic backup to dropbox etc 5 Calendar planner synch thank you so much for thinking of the teachers This has cut down on sooo much paper and has kept me better organized             Good app not great Yet SillySpice

This is an amazing app I am a school principal and I use this app to track all of our school discipline document parent phone calls etc I used to take notes on paper then document in an excel file then email the student s teacher to inform them about the incident Now I can do all of this from the app without having to re write or re type any notes It is also an easy way to store student demographic and parent contact information It makes it easy to pull up a parent s email address and send them an email The app is very easy to use and easy to customize the fields to suit my purposes I love that I can export the data to an excel spreadsheet and then sort by name location etc to look for patterns The video tutorials make it easy to learn how to use the app The app keeps getting better with each update                     Very useful Bbl476
