Got this since I love the pharmacopoeia but this program leaves a lot to be desired Basic with limited info Search engine not that great Medscape is as good or better and free I find myself not using this that much I wont renew unless it improves        OK Not Great

I have used the primary care pocketbook for years and it held a spot in precious white coat pocket space I am delighted to be able to free my pocket and carry it on my iPhone now I love my iPhone and I have a lot of great medical apps but this is one of the best I use it for quick yet thorough reference in my own busy clinic and while precepting residents as well It is well written and covers the vast array of problems I see on a daily basis and on more rare occasion as well I highly recommend it for primary care providers                 MD

Skyscape 5 min clinical consult makes Tarascons Primary Care look like childs play Essentially it worthless I practice family medicine and I am telling you dont waste your money or more importantly your time     Really dont waste your money

Worthless for anything but very basic information If you are in the medical field then dont bother with this app I use tarascon in the hospital and the books are great but the app is not even close to being useful unless it is offered for far less than the current price     Worthless waste of money

I am not impressed Its fund of knowledge is minimalnothing ground breaking here I work as Family PracticeUrgent CareSports Medicine There is no reason for me to waste time with this app when I have 5 minute clinical consult        Best Suited For Medical Students

This app is a must have to complete your smartphone library Im a first year family medicine resident I started out with the Primary care pocketbook and I enjoy this app even more Its very well organized and has a breadth of information on almost any topic you need in the outpatient setting There are many charts of information that is just not easily found anywhere else Id recommend this to any physician              Great app

The most useful reference Ive owned and the best value in medical reference material in my opinion has for years been the Tarascon pocket drug reference in paperback The electronic version is even more useful but the price tag is pretty steep for a one year subscription The primary care pocketbook electronic version on the other hand is not very enjoyable to use Ive not found the information to be presented in a format that I want to read The screens shots you see in the Apps information is in my opinion representative of what you get If this was a 500 App I would be less disappointed     Not worth the money

The primary care pocket book that every resident and student should have in their pocket is now on the iphone Easy to use well organized accessible Great resource                 Great for students and residents

This is a decent representation of the book I find the index to be especially thorough So far Ive found everything Ive looked for and the content is excellent and relevant to my practice I think with all these pseudo medical references in the app store you cant beat the reputation of this series I dont mind paying more for information that I trust to treat my patients If youre not a doctor then a 99 cent app is fine otherwise go with real references and dont take chances with your patients lives                 Great representation of the book

This app is so easy to use and well organized This is perfect for both outpatient and inpatient medicine I am so grateful for such a quick and easy resource which is incredibly up to date I can discreetly look things up quickly during rounds answer questions for my patients and feel comfortable managing many medical disorders according to current practice guidelines This app is a bargain compared to other similar apps and I havent had any problems with bugs or crashes All medical professionals should highly considered this app                 Amazing medical app

This iPhone app version of the the Tarascon Primary Care handbook is easy to use Succinct descriptions of medical conditions at your fingertips It is a great support tool when you are looking for a quick reference on a topic while on the fly I would like to see the Preventive Medicine section updated with the most recent USPSTF recommendations however All in all a good buy that provides quick access to information at the point of care                 Great all around reference

I am a family medicine intern and have the paperback version of this reference as well as multiple quick references on my iPhone 3G including various 5minute consults Epocrates Essentials Lexi Comp and the Mass General Handbook I have frequently been pleasantly surprised by the amount and quality of information found in this small reference book It provides a quick concise summary of many conditions I encounter in the mainly outpatient setting The iPhone version is fast easy to maneuver and convenient enough that I have stopped carrying the book with me In a few instances I have had to search for a few moments to find what I was looking for but the index is overall very good All of the tables fit neatly on the iPhone screen and are easy to peruse I use this App frequently and definitely recommend it to any physician resident or med student looking for a good quickreferencememoryjogger              Great quick reference for primary care

Dr Esherick has an amazing ability to organize uptodate and evidencebased medical information for a wide range of topics in a powerfully succinct manner All that you need to know in concise charts lists and tables Very easy to navigate This pocket book app is a must have for a clinician in primary care                 Excellent Pocket Reference
