This release of Tapose is very stable The new design is very attractive and very user friendly Good to see that this app is undergoing active development and maintenance Very pleased to see that my feedback and feature requests have been incorporated in this revision        Beautiful Revision

If you need a notes app get notes plus Devs are great answer questions great support This app is barely usable and nothing from them for months on their support site If I could give it zero stars I would Great concept poor poor implementation     Save your money

This product is developing into a really strong app that can be used in many different scenarios There are still some glitches but as a whole it has come in handy in not only business education and also for personal use              Tapose

Version 112 After installation all data lost The journals remain but empty I removed this application and never use it again     The update erase all data

This app looks like Pentiltimate I downloaded the advanced stuff but it freezes up between the map and the pix and the other apps I was hoping for a full sketch palate of materials but havent found these here 9 hmmmm        Trying to make it work

Have been using for about a year now and find this app very useful for organizing notes and for use as a brainstorming writing tool love the variety of ways to notate content Have a variety of journals from various writing projects to financial bookkeeping Cant understand what the complaint is                 detroitwriter

I purchased this app the day it came out 2 years ago I really want to like this app but answers to questions go unanswered and there is no user manual that I can find So far I have not used this app for any real work Just test pages to see if this or that has been fixed Before the update that just came out the last update was 9 months ago I would expect earth shattering progress in that amount of time Nope I believe we have a couple of developers with full time jobs and the is a hobby If you need to be productive and use an app that is leading the pack look somewhere else BTW I hope I am wrong about the developers but 2 years of trying to get answers and the lack of timely updates leads me to my conclusion     Still waiting

This is a really useful collaboration app and I am impressed with the new features                 Great new version of app

I remember being so excited for this app when it was featured on kickstarter I beta tested the app and was still cautiously optimistic This latest update says bug fixes but as far as I can tell its pretty much the same as it was in beta almost 2 years ago I keep this app on my iPad in the hopes that theyll one day release an update that at least makes it competitive to other note taking apps but at this rate Im doubtful I cant recommend this app as there are other better executed options out there Some might be more expensive but much more functional     Disappointing

Changes look good but app still does not work Need to spend less time making it look pretty and more time making it work Try to write and it interprets it as I am wanting to turn pages     Still Not Working

I wanted to like it I have a thing for productivity appsI used to buy notebooks before the iPad But I downloaded this app and it starts to open and crashes I deleted it several times and opened it again it flashes an opening page and then is gone Fix this and I would love to give it a try     Where is it

This is such an amazing idea gone wrongturning the pages is very frustrating everything seems glitchy Waiting for an update for months hoping it would get better but it seems the developers have just abandoned this app     Amazing idea horrible app

To date this is a disappointing effort Inadequate functionality clunky bugs Ive gone to NotesPlus which has taken these concepts and done them very well even the split screen     Sad

Need to improve in EDIT mode Sometime the program did not popup the keyboard I had to press several time so the program can understand        Sr Web developer

I just added this to my iPad and it is an awesome app for my work I can be completely mobile and ditch the notepad                 This tool rocks

Ive tried numerous note taking apps and this has great features Drawback is the touch points arent as refined What I mean by this is with other apps and use of stylus the writing is smooth With Tapose the writing is not as smooth           Good app but touch points need improving

I was a backer of this app on Kickstarter and I regret having done so The app is a pain to use The developers are unresponsive and were deceptive to those of us who backed them Immediately after releasing the app the price dropped to 299 which means many of us paid for a relatively inexpensive app Promises were made for a gift for backers to compensate but the promise was all we ever got Avoid this app Its buggy and using it is a chore not a pleasure     One To Avoid

Third update has done nothing to make this App in any way productive Like so many that have written reviews I felt that this application had great potential However now I just feel that it is a total waste of time The developers spent so much time trying to get this into the app store when they shouldve been spending the time trying to create an application that actually works I know this program was inexpensive however it is still annoying that I actually paid anything for this piece of trash     Why would you waste your time with this app

Yeah I use this on the iPad 2 and it is actually usable now Much more stable and little lag keep it coming guys                 I concur much improved

I loved this app so much I used it to take notes for 8 classes I just took as a student at Harvard University as well as notes on countless other lectures and events But then my iPad 2 ran out of battery while I was using the app and now it wont open I have 550 megs of data still on my iPad so the data must be there I am hoping Tapose can uncrash my app and fix whatever the problem was that resulted in the crash I would give Tapose 5 stars if it wasnt for this tremendously painful crash and loss of my data The design of the app is really great Help     Love the App But suffered a massive data loss

It seems like the devs made this as a weekend project Pixels are HUGE navigation is not intuitive and it feels like the devs made this app for another OS Just Wrong        Ugly not intuitive wasnt made for iOS

Like my title says the app is good but theres some things that I would really like to see fixed 1 When typing if you reach the end of the page the journal jumps forward a bunch of pages so if you were typing on page 14 it will go to 22 instead of 15 PLEASE fix this it is very frustrating when taking notes 2 Turning pages in portrait view is sometimes problematic instead of turning you may end up writing in pencil at the bottom 3 It would be nice to be able to highlight text in a way similar to how you change text color instead of having to pick the highlighting tool and doing it manually as it comes out a bit messy              Good but still needs some tweaks

It simply doesnt workits confusing and it takes so long to make an action when you press buttons So clunky it is unusable     I just bought this and Im so disappointed I wasted three dollars

Ive been looking for an app in which my students can create digital lab reports on iPads that include text writing and import of images and videos set up in a notebook fashion rather than a presentation Thus I was elated to find Tapose However as soon as we started trying to incorporate videos my students have to create video methods sections the app crashed Such a bummer Please fix this The app has so much potential but for me thats a deal breaker           A lot of potential but

I downloaded this app to share a journal and it does work in a seamless way However this app seems rough and unfinished in many ways The interface features are nice but not well thought out especially while typing On my iPad 3 its slow to respond another issue It has crashed in the middle of an entry Overall two stars is earned because while it is a novel approach to a collaborative journal I know the present features can be implemented better        App is a good start

I was with Tapose from the start and expected much more I have a iPad original and Tapose turns it into brick If its possible Id like a refund     Could be better

This app is so great at everything It helps me keep all my notes in one place It also lets me sketch highlight write and insert picturesaudio I highly recommend this app to people that like journalism writing etc                 Best App Ever

Good Idea poorly implemented     Very buggy so far

I purchased this app when it first launched and wasnt very impressed with it at that time It sat unused on my iPad until I tried to fire it up on iOS8 today just to see if anything had changed It cant even start immediately crashes I finally just removed it for good There are much better apps for notetaking sketching etc Dont bother with this one     Just doesnt work anymore

Im using the Moleskine app instead its free     Disappointing

What a great concept Just wish it worked better 113 doesnt seem like much of an improvement Still have to tap buttons many times to get them to work Stuff jumps around on the page and between pages without warning Double taps on links dont open web sites Maybe in a year or so when version 20 comes out I will reinstall it and try again But right now its to frustrating to use     Disappointment still

I love all the features on this app but I ran into into some problems and would like some more features that would improve note taking My first issue is that the map clip bug is still not fixed The developers said they patched it but this morning I put a map sniping from the clipboard onto my journal and when I tried to move it the app froze and crashed Some modifications I would like to see is the bullet points I hate how they dont stagger and so you cant make sub bullet points Please create the feature to have staggered bullet points this may be bc I havent discovered it yet but I cant out how to start my typing from the middle of the page When I want to type something the app arbitrarily starts it at the top of the page sometimes I want to start my sentence in the middle of the page and I cant do tht Other than those problems I love this app and recommend it other fellow students who need a note taking application Im sure the developers will make whatever patches necessary in the future           Great for journaling but some improvements would be great

Great to have Journals open to the page I was on before rather than the first page Its also nice to have the ability to restore the tutorial to new after editing or deleting Keep the updates coming                 Much Improved

UPDATE Sorry Tapose team Why even bother updating this app It is absolute junk and none of the updates have lived up to your prerelease hype Just call it a day already Been following this since it started on Kickstarter and was very excited about it This app was so hyped as revolutionary uh not so much UI is very clunky and the inking is absolutely horrible The middle slider bar is iffy at best and this was Taposes selling point Notes Plus has had it for a while and it works seamlessly I wanted so much to love this app I simply dont My advice is that if you already own Notes Plus dont purchase this app until 20 comes out and see what the reviews of the version are I will not be using this app until 20 and will continue using Notes Plus Notes Plus just has a better UI better word processing features and simply does what I need it to do Good luck Taposé team I sincerely hope you improve this app and make it as revolutionary as you hyped it to be Version 1 just doesnt cut it     Disappointing

I cannot get two panels to pull up If I click the Left Panel nothing happens If you click RIght Panel it fills up the entire screen I need an app that has the journal on one side of the screen and the browser on the other side Images of this app show that but it is not working Will change my review if this is fixed     Doesnt work

The idea is terrific and really helped me think about why and how I use my tablet I wish it worked better Why couldnt the browser be a standard one Or even give us a choice One cant completely opt out of using the developers cloud I want to store my notebooks on my home network I want to use the app 100 offline for extended periods The developers got a lot of Kickstarter moneywhat did they do with it Where are they Theyve squandered my trust and all I do with this app anymore is use it to demonstrate what could be        Crushing Disappointment

I was an early adopter of this app on my original iPad 1 Like others have said it showed such promise Ive kept it on now on my iPad air but am ready to give up Even the tutorial doesnt work The programmers really just phoned their work in No real effort to live up to promises So very disappointed     Very disappointing

The Tutorial says it all Moleskin and Bamboo are much more professional Moleskin is FREE I will never use this     Get Moleskin or Bamboo TAPOSE IS NOTHING LIKE COURIER

Best collaborative app Ive tried on iPad Cool split screen functionality Great for work and home uses                 Must try app

Awesome collaboration app for my team I love how intuitive it is and between the new tool tips and the tutorial delivered with the app my team is up and running in one day Seamless integration with my contacts for collaboration maps for our sales calls and the journal even takes my voice notes amazing                 Great app Multi media and collaboration

I really like this concept being able to take notes side by side with an open browser And over all this is a good start My issues are with the speed of the app There are definite lags in speed when trying to use this app I sometimes would tap on something and get no response for a second or two Then I would try something else and eventually my original tap would register Also some of the tools intuitiveness need to be tweakedie the way to import images To me its backwards Most people copy the image and then paste it into the doc In this app you tap the copy button then the picture and then you have to drag it to place Hmmmm too many steps Also the zoom to write is funky and slow I think they need to focus on getting the few things that this app is supposed to do well and then worry about fixing issues like the icon and the color of the menu bar Just sayin           Work in progress
