Its not working stupid    

This app is very good for teaching people who know most of the target language but have trouble with certain words I was hoping that the actual translated word would be spoken as to learn a new language If the developer could include that function this would be a killer app for learning new languages           Does the job but

though it says it will read paragraphs and pages it gives you instead a silly grin and says text too long On a paragraph thats really not very long at all So the paragraphpage thing must be a lie I suppose but I cant tell there is no access to support no way to send a question to the developer no nothing What it WILL do is translate a single word from a Safari page If you need that fine But go elsewhere for paragraphspages or support Oughta be a law or at least a warning against apps that provide no support     warning

Программа не работает на iphone 4 ios5 когда выбираешь язык и жмёшь пункт 1 то открывается ссылка в сафари ничего не происходитлибо просто белый экран либо сервер не отвечает    

The idea looks good but it doesnt work on my iPhone I dont know if it is something to with iOS 501 but its not working on my phone please fix it        Its not working

This program is really really awesome I dont know why a lot of guys say its not good Its really useful for learning other languages The only problem is that sometimes it becomes very hard to select the words you want Sometimes pronunciation doest work Good enough Look forward to updates                 Its awesome

I recently purchased tapdictionary and taptranslate They both work well After integrating both into safari do I need to reintegrate either one if I go between tap dictionary and tap translate                 Tap translate

I gave 2 stars for this app couples days ago because some reason it wont work after integrate with safari in occasion Im back because after I update the new IOS6 and the issue fixed This is a great app I have been looking for years now I could truly enjoy web surfing                 Great App very impressive

The translation part is ok Foreign pronunciation is ridiculous You also get an advertisement for TapDictionary every time you tap for a translation           Good translator otherwise bad

Start off i didnt expect much I literally surprised how convenient it is and i can use this anytime when i confuse some prounounciation this app will save me time Impressive and so far five stars                 Works for me

My wife got this app to help her she is from Ukraine We were pleased to find support for the Ukrainian language Works well it even translates entire webpages Translations are not 100 but awesome nonetheless Set up is easy took about 10 seconds to do I highly recommend this app                 Works great

This app is still a total waste of money because you cant translate links with this program When you go to the taptranslate bookmark in Safari it tells you to click on the word to see the translation Well guess what happens if the word is a linkthats right it takes you to the link instead of translating the word For real This is the biggest waste of money until they can come up with some kind of fix for this When I am surfing the web most of the things I want translated are links     CAN

Pros I just bought this app for my iPad 2 to read German newspapers and it works seamlessly in Safari One click on a word and a translation pops up immediately Click the button on the Popup and you get a translation of the paragraph So far I havent encountered the babblefish effect where you know the translation is just nonsense Cons They advertise hear the word pronounced Well the Robot voice does say something when you click the play button but unless you want to mispronounce everything dont even bother Its totally wrong I almost suspect they used a Speak n Spell The advertised translate sentences paragraphs does work with short texts but once you get beyond the length of a twitter feed it will simply display Oops Text is too long I guess I prefer logical translations of short text over an entire page of nonsense But seriously major updates needed to do the full range Summary All in all Im giving this a 4 for translate and 2 for overall value It translates words in Safari immediately and gives accurate translations Easy to install no hassle and works on the first try No fussy trouble shooting Why 2 then Because it is too expensive LISTEN UP DEVELOPER I will be happy to purchase it for 69 bucks when you ACTUALLY have an somewhat decent pronunciation and can translate paragraphs without error messages Otherwise this is at most a Beta release FREE or you should sell it as a 2 app that doesnt have those functions I feel cheated and if I could get my money back I would quite angry to be honest Ps The German version robot simply pronounces German words in English What were you guys thinking        4 Star Translator 2 Star Value Bad Pronunciation Expensive

this app is garbage its so confussing to setup and doesnt tranlate all the pages i need save your two bucks and go buy eught gumballs at toys r us its worth more     stay away

I was about to give 5 stars but I found a bug or may be some restrictions I am unable to translate most sentences 80 of the time Itll prompt text too long My main purpose is to translate email I got but it useless as 100 of the time itll prompt text too long So this apps failed 80 of the time when trying to translate sentences on webpage and 100 of the time when trying to translate sentences on email     Text too long

I bought this app to work with one specific website that has a little bit of JavaScript on it This app doesnt work on it at all I have made it work on some sites but not on the sites Im trying to use If this app doesnt work on certain sites they should clearly disclose that I want my money back Buyer beware     Doesnt work with many pages

But could be better It gets four stars because it works as advertised though sometimes it is overly sensitive and dodgy but needs better setup instructions None of the links worked on the FAQ for setting it up and the imbedded instructional video would not run because it was private However I figured out how to set it up once you download the app open up settings in the Tap App and select the language you want foreignlanguage pages translated INTO not from English for me and then press integration into Safari Then the app opens Safari and you finish setting up the app there If all else fails you can use the apps browser without integration              Better than nothing and only app that provides tap translation

Integration in the browser is solved elegantly onetap handling is great translations good enough The real catch is that it doesnt work with a lot of websites probably because their own Javascript interferes with the bookmarklet I wonder if this can be fixed over time or is a permanent limitation If it works with the sites you are using this is a great and helpful tool           Great handling still too buggy

google translation is not perfect and has many flaws how dont you give us an option to choose google dictionary along with google translation           good start

7112 iPhone 4s 64gb OS 511 latest app update When I integrated wSafari which I think is a FABULOUS idea btw I could only get it to work the first time wI having to restart the app Devs and plans to upgrade fix probs I hope so Tried going to website to contact you but only what seemed to be a Japanese porn site opened up I wouldnt know for sure because it wouldnt translate it     Would love to rate higher but

I bought this app with great hopes because there appears to be nothing else like it on the market but now I see the catch it only works with certain websites I can understand if something is under development and needs time to perfect but after spending 20 minutes trying to find a contact email for the developer of this site and learning there isnt one I now realize that the guy who made the app has no confidence in it or worse yet has given up on it an just hopes to real in a few more patsies before the app sinks into oblivion Do yourself a big favor and do not by this app until you are certain it will work with the language and websites you are using How can you be certain you cant so dont risk it     Somethings wrong here

The app does what I want it to which is to translate single German words However the app unfortunately doesnt recognize special characters like ü and ß so it doesnt properly translate words containing those characters Is it possible for the app to recognize those characters The price is rather expensive for the service Im getting as well           Okay

This 10 app is nothing more than a bit of javascript and a basic serverside script that returns the translation its ingenious but overpriced for what it does There is no offline support which would be most helpful           overpriced but works
