Love the app Works really well and the auto switching based on gps is awesome Id love to be able to just tap the tank to switch and remove the option for both as a setting Also supporting the iOS 11 multitasking with the ability for it to run over apps would be great to quickly access the app without completely getting out of my EFB                 Great app could use some minor improvements averen

I have tried several apps as well timers and found this app by far better than any other It may not be as snazzy as some but it works extremely well Two of the features that I found beneficial are 1 The GPH automatically switches from a rate that you set for the burn rate for taxi then automatically switches to a rate that your u set for climb out then when you transition into cruise the burn rate changes to what you set as the GPH for cruise All of this happens automatically 2 when switch tanks in the app it reminds you to actually switch the tank valve Contrary to other reviews the app has never crashed and has functioned flawlessly I am enthused to use this app in my airplane                     Awesome app GPS automatically switches GPH Bret_c

The link to customer support for this app is broken so I am submitting this problem as a review The current version does not seem to recognize the GPS in my IPad and displays n a for both my altitude and speed thus it cannot distinguish between taxi climb cruise and descent so all the available fuel calculations are unreliable         Bug in Program Kshawusa

Excellent app especially the automatic mode that uses GPS to determine the phase of flight and hence the current fuel flow That said there are still a few features I d like to see I d ask for these via email to the developer but the link to app support is dead Here they are in order of precedence 1 The ability to change the fuel consumption rate for any phase of flight on the fly current you can t change the values locked in by the aircraft profile in use 2 A display of total time and total fuel remaining 3 Better visual emphasis of tank in use The current thin blue border easy to miss 4 If you inadvertently try to switch to the tank currently in use the app should recognize that and stop you or remove the current tank from the drop down of tanks to select instead of treating it like a normal tank switch and resetting the timer for that tank Again super app and much better than other tank timers I ve used                 Features Jm0045

App does not show up in settings notifications so you cannot set the notifications up as the setup instructions suggest You cannot switch tanks at custom time intervals You have to select one time and manually extend times after that The tank quantity display graduation markings do not correlate with the actual gallons usable however there is a textual display of this The textual and graphic displays do not agree There is only a barely noticeable blue box around the tank in use there needs to be a more prominent marking as to which tank is selected     Needs much improvement Heli-AV8R

Please add the ability to switch between 4 tanks I have two mains 25 gal ea and two tip tanks 17 gal ea Other than that the program works great as I manually switch pairs of tanks within the app                 Great app I have one request SMXFlyer

I tried hard to like this app because I paid money for it But it has a glitch and the maker won t answer my emails Every flight it scrambled at some point in the flight It will work okay for a few tank cycles then unexpectedly it alerts you and find that it thinks your left tank has expired and the right tank is full Yesterday I was on my last cycle with 8 gallons remaining and when I opened it tank timer said I had 7 9 gallons in my left tank but my right tank was 7 9 gallons over full I m giving up and deleting it before it causes me any more grief I need something reliable that doesn t screw up when I m on empty tanks     Tank Timer is unreliable Tomthrall

Adding Both option is an improvement except it doesn t calculate the time properly With 65 gal 32 5 per side and a cruise burn rate of 13 5 gph it takes from both tanks but it shows the time remaining for both tanks as 2 24 when in actuality the tanks will last just under 5 hours When in both it should show total time remaining             Improved Ewm2

Can t change sound notification to a continuous alert No support for aircraft like Cessna with both selector If setup to use GPS and in descent you ll see way more fuel hours remain which can be dangerously misleading         No sound alerts no support BsAppHaHa

This is a good timer if you don t switch apps too often On several occasions during long trips I ve had the app reset upon returning from using ForeFlight It doesn t matter wether switching apps via four finger swipe or the task bar When the app resets fuel quantities are usually one tank full one tank empty and timer reset I ll start using it again when there s a fix         Needs better multitasking support marcmec
