DEAR TANGO DEVELOPERS PLEASE READ This app is an AMAZING INNOVATIVE way to browse and control all of the media stored on any of your other iDevices I use my iPad as my cars Media Player and my iPhone as he Remote Control This app makes them both a match made in Heaven All commands and selections work instantly with no lags or delays at all using Bluetooth or Wifi I just wish it had SwipeGesture controls to change tracks or volume without having to look down at my phone while driving I WOULD EVEN PAY for this feature because it makes me my passengers safer Still an amazing app nonetheless                 AMAZING

I thought someone should make an app that does this Then I looked and there it was Tango Works exactly like was thinking it should Best app on my phone and iPad But Id like to be able to control music playing on my Mac from my iPhone since I no longer have an iPad There needs to be a Mac version that integrates with the iPhone and iPad versions                 Awesome product But need an OS X version

I finally can use my ipod again My ipod has been sitting for years unused as my iphone is my primary music source Now I can run my ipod into either my altec lansing M650 stand alone speaker or into my homes built in ceiling speakers and control the music from throughout the house I highly recommend this app The only reason its not a perfect 55 is that there is a minor issue of the app on my phone forgetting its connected to the ipod and I have to reconnect which only takes seconds Very minor quibble Perfect for anyone who has a ipod or iphone and a sound system It even tells you the battery charge of the media player aka the ipod if you dont have it plugged in              Very impressive

On the occasion when everything comes together its great but thats all too rare an event to get any more than three stars iPod touch pure dock and various iPhones and iPads all have same spotty performance issues Please fix as Id love to have a reliable product that works as it looks like it could and should           Soo close but no cigar

The other reviewers are rightTango occasionally drops the connection between the remote and the player But the developers advice to turn wifi off on both devices then turn it back on is a quick fix that always works though I wish theyd fix it I use this app for hours every day It lets me play all my music I loaded my cds into iTunes using Apple lossless then subscribed to iTunes Match One iPad is a dedicated music player plugged into superb speakers The other iPad is my remote control Now I can hear all my music with the best quality as well as my iTunes Radio stations This is best app Ive ever bought Dont know what Id do without it              I use Tango every day

I have a Beats by Dre Beatbox portable in my den on the entertainment center I connect my iPad to it with a Bluetooth connection This makes me either have to be in my den or in the next room over which is the kitchen I can go other places in my house but if I want to adjust the volume between songs or skip a track I have to return to where my iPad is stationed NOT ANYMORE With this app Im now able to go anywhere in my house and as long as I have my iPhone on me I can control every aspect of my music listening session This is extremely convenient and has been the most useful music related app Ive ran across so far Thanks for the awesome app guys One thing can you update it to be 100 compatible with the iPhone 6 Plus Its noticeably stretched out to fit the screen and makes it look pretty bad If it were a true 1080p Retina HD format this would be the perfect app Do that for me and Ill give you guys that last star I held back              Extremely useful

I do audio for our church and this app was great for doing weddings I could be just about anywhere and control the songs and volume and be better equipped to start and end songs when needed This latest release is buggy When changing the volume the remote control loses sync with the media player and after around 10 seconds or so it might change Then for about 30 seconds or so it may sync back up and works for changing the song but then again when adjusting the volume it starts acting crazy all over again Never had these issues with earlier releases of this app Since I wrote this review I have been in contact with the developer and received quick and helpful answers In the end all I had to do was delete and reinstall the app and it is now working as it should The app is fine and am not sure why I had to reinstall but in the digital world of 1 and 0s things can and will happen                 Revising my review

This app is perfect if you are at a party and want to dj it also Great for home use too I highly recommend this                 Must Have

This is a Great app I have my iPad docked in my car to play movies and videos and I have been looking for something that will allow me to go to the next video without touching the screen As well I was looking to play another video without going to the library and this allowed that The ONLY this now is that all my videos are wide screen and I will like them to allow a full screen function to the app itself for full screen options                 Full Screen Feat for Videos

I love this app I am a solo singer that uses backing tracks and this app allows me to start my intro music myself outside of the room and use my iphone as a remote and set list AND it works with wifi and bluetooth                 Perfect app for controlling my ipad music

This app is nearly perfect I am on the road quite a bit and this app lets me use my iphone 4 via bluetooth connectivity to control my ipad 2s media library I usually connect my ipad to a television via a component adaptor cable Everything works very well and the interface is self explanitory While I can control my purchased movies I cannot access the rental movies downloaded from itunes Otherwise I love the app and hope it will be updated to play rentals in the near future              Works very well missing one key feature

The problem I encountered which made the app rather useless for me is the fact that the remote control function defaults to Bluetooth This is a problem because I play music from my iPod touch to my home stereo via Bluetooth When I try to connect this app it insists on connecting via Bluetooth Ya cant have both on Bluetooth The remote control an iPhone 4s wants to pair with Bluetooth only and there is no manual over ride to select wifi for the remote function If this app is only going to provide Bluetooth remote control functionality that is pointless because I can use my iPod to control the music while it plays through Bluetooth In short the app does nothing the iPod cant do I dont use the app anymore Hopefully there will be a fix to allow the user to select either wifi or Bluetooth as the connection Until that happens this app is pointless for me Tech support was very responsive but agreed that this was an issue for which there is no workaround     issues

This app has great functionality when it works However editing the queue from a remote routinely crashes the app on the remote not the media player Fix that and Ill happily rate five stars        Editing queue crashes app

I purchased this the play videos in the car on my sons iPad but app cannot play videos purchased in iTunes Appears app cannot play any content that hasnt been stripped of drm so seems like its pretty worthless for the average iTunes user     Waste of money

Good app for controlling one iPhoneiPod on another but there is no equalizer on this app so i cant adjust the bass on my music which is a huge problem that makes this app worthless to me Please add a way to turn down the bass in the music on the remote I need it even lower than apples bass reducer setting              Close but no cigar

I love that you can control playback of iTunes content on one iOS device from another iOS device Sometimes I like to hook my iPad up to the TV and then control video playback from my iPhone The music playback works great but the video content is limited to DRM free content so I have to download content from iTunes onto a Mac or PC strip the DRM then load the stripped content to my iPad so I can play it to the TV Quite cumbersome Apple needs to allow 3rd party apps the ability to play DRM video content I would also like functionality to create and play video playlists If I want to program the evenings viewing content Id like to create a video playlist with the movies and TV shows I want in a specific order and just let it run the same way I might create a music playlist Its s great concept but needs work to meet my use case           Ive been wanting this functionality for a while

The best remote play of all apps I have this on all my devices and have music throughout my house and back yard Suggestion any way to get this to stream music If i have a party and i get people to download your app and they want to add a song from their device Can it temporarily stream it from their device to my device connected to the sound system                 BEST REMOTE PLAY

Installs easily enough loads without issue mostly but fails to maintain connection between media player and remote device Frequently the remote fails to find the media player and just keeps looking indefinitely Would be nice if the remote would show what was playing when iTunes Radio plays on the media player In fact all it allows one to do is to adjust the volume You cant skip songs pause fast forward or go back Ive been looking for this exact app for a few years now and was thrilled when I found this on the App Store what a disappointment dont waste your time with it        Not Impressed

5 minutes ago I purchased and installed on my very old iPhone running 71 and my new iPad Air 2 Setup in seconds control fast and across the yard Perfect for upcoming reception with Apple TV Very nice                 Buy It Without Hesitation

This app works exactly as advertised for me Ive always wanted some way to control my music library but still be able to use my phone and I think I finally found it I installed on a 3rd gen iPod Touch player and iPhone 6 remote and setup was simple over wifi Only issue 50 chance whenever I leave the app on my iPhone it disconnects and I need to reselect my iPod as the media player              Ive needed something like this for a few years now

This app has really made a difference in my not being tethered to my music player It works with both wifi and Bluetooth I use the Bluetooth more because it has less interruptions I only wish that when I turn on the remote device that it would immediately stay on the remote instead of having to find it This causes a delay in pausing the music If it were instant then this would be GOLD in my book                 Great Product

The big problem with this app is that it does not work consistently It drops the connection to the other device all the time Sometimes it will not find the device in the same room Frustrating        Does not work consistently

Currently a college student and this app makes it very easy to control the music no matter where you are in or around the house because of the connection via the same wifi network Works much better than bluetooth Only problems that have occurred in the month that Ive had the app is that it occasionally lags when adjusting the volume or choosing a song my phone sometimes cant find the device controlling the music iPad mini in my case and it occasionally drops the wifi signal for no obvious reason Despite this the app makes controlling music extremely convenient and I would recommend it to anyone in need of such a service              Overall Good

This app is really great for playing my music off of my iPad at home which I do a lot There isnt much difference to using this app and interfacing directly with my iPad Only down side is it uses up the battery on my phone at a higher rate than Id like But other than that its great                 Love this app

This app is fantastic with my iPhone 5s and my iPod touch 5 I leave my phone in my pocket as my remote and my iPod is plugged into surround sound stereo speakers as the media device Im so happy I bought this app I can now play any song I want from my iTunes library from anywhere in my room without having to get up and walk over to my iPod Buy this app                 I love it

This app worked great before the last update now its super buggy does not stay connected and for some reason decides to repeat the first 20 seconds of a song over and over all by it self Please fix It worked just fine before     New update has major bugs

As a physical education teacher I enjoy playing music in the gymnasium but it can get hard having to run back to a music player to pause music to give instruction With this app I no longer have to do that and I can easily control the volume and song from my phone Every once in awhile it stops working or takes awhile to start and sync up but ultimately I would recommend this app to anyone                 Great app for teaching

When looking at the information on this app nowhere did it state that it wouldnt support copyrighted moviesvideos I purchased this soy that I could control my daughters iPad while she was in the back seat and I was in the front Waste of my money since this app wont do what I Des it to do very disappointed     Does not support all videosmovies

When it works it works well Once they get the reliability bugs worked out it will be a lot more fun Worth the nonetheless           Good Could be better
