I have a lot of fun with this app Combining Figure and Take together expands the creative possibilities I would like to see a step taken in making Take compatible with Audiobus Recording live from Figure would be nicer than having to drop your beats into the cloud first Just imagine the possibilities Fun and Easy creative outlet

Ive been using voice memos to record music snippets but this gives me way more capability with much better sound The three tracks quality and easy sharing makes it hard to believe that its free Good and Easy

Why cant I save my ideas to my device or open in another app of my choosing Why do I need to sign up for your services to have access to my musical creations Buckle up

This app is fantastic But it still needs work My main suggestion would be add much more than 3 tracks Has the potential to be better than Garage Band

I rate this 4 stars because its great It has a auto pitch that is pristine Only thing is I wish this was compatible with GarageBand Please Propellerheads make this useable as an inner audio app Youre Figure works fine with GarageBand why not this Will give it 5 stars when it is available for GarageBand Im begging Make it WORK WITH GARAGEBAND

We need to be able to import any kind of track so we can write vocals for them I have a track I wrote with no vocals but I cant import the track to write over it If this is implemented Ill change my review to 5 stars We need track importing

I love love love this app One thing I hate though is if I have to uninstall the app then all my recordings are lost Since I have to sign in anyways my recording should just be saved to my account A fourth track to record on would be nice too since I normally do three part harmonies and a lead But other than those things I love the Take app My favorite music app

Ive never encountered any technological issues while using this app but when I first got it it was a little confusing after a while I began to understand all the functions and buttons Great app fun and easy to use

First let me just say this is one of the best apps to record music voice memos or song ideas It has surprisingly good auto tune and sound FX and a very clean UI design The only issue I have with it is it only has 3 tracks I know its not designed to be used for recording songs by a full band but itd be nice to at least have the option Also itd be cool to be able to manually turn up the overall volume when mastering because sometimes its really quiet Needs one thing

The application is simple easy to use but A musthave Not really It would certainly get my attention if you could record on more than just THREE tracks More tracks

the mic is really good plus the music doesnt stop when you get on the app HIGH QUALITY

but maybe its your phone model I have an original iPhone 5 and I have absolutely no problems with this app Its awesome for me as a songwriter because I can record guitar parts overdub harmony parts etc I can hear other tracks while recording and I can hear the metronome while recording also No problems whatsoever Perhaps the volume is down all the way in the mix section for those with trouble 4 stars for this app would be 5 as there is no count in for overdubbing Theres no way I can press the record button and play guitar precisely on beat Im not sure what others are talking about

Good app except it lacks mp3 import which would make this app a true essential for any vocalist because i could just send a song or a project with an actual mp3 and a vocalist could record vocals over that using this good program with good GUI and interface Please incorporate thisss its the only thing thats left for it to become truly great Good but needs mp3 import

I have trouble using my iPhone app called Propellerhead Take I tried accessing my username however it doesnt work at all With Soundcloud itll be difficult to share with Take And so does my username which lacked of sharing Lacking shares with Soundcloud

The features are really nice and you get up to 3 tracks for overdubbing but when it comes to rendering your file they trap you into rendering your file into their hosting server instead of giving options to share to soundcloudaudiopasteor itunes such as in Figure And to top it off It keeps crashing and says there is an error exporting the audio Until they fix the issue im giving it a 1 Good But useless

Now that Take supports Drop to Propellerhead this fun little freebie just became an essential production tool for the mobile musician I use it to test vocal mix ideas of projects Im working on in Reason Drop to Propellerhead in Reason 81 open in Take sing ideas or add live instruments Drop it back to Reason and everything is in time Its kind of a pain to export multiple vocal tracks one by one but for a first release feature Im not complaining Highly recommended for any iOS users on Reason 81 who sing or do live instrumentation recording in the field A musthave Invaluable tool to lay down ideas and work with Reason

Importing beats from Figure is baffling This needs AudioCopy support at a bare minimum Audiobus support would be even better Also the only option for exporting is either uploading to a website which amazingly does not give you the option to download the file or iTunes sharing which is a pretty primitive option at this point Oh and it looks like once youve shared a recording to the web it cant be unshared Lots of potential but it isnt quite there yet Needs better Figure integration

This is a great simple 3 track recorder I was hoping that you could just send figure beats right to it without having to use the Twitter Also would be nice if you could record audio loop for the beat Great audio sketch pad but

Exporting songs is hard you basically need a cable to get to a file It would be much better to be able to export straight to Google Drive or Dropbox Good concept but lacks versatility

Im a singer songwriter producer and this by far the best app for getting ideas out on the go It would be nice to have an option to loop certain elements or copy and paste them Other than that no complaints Definitely worth the download Great app Would be amazing with a copy repeat or loop option

Im frustrated frustrated I cant give this app NO STARS The first deal breaking problem is that you cant hear the metronome while youre recording DUH How could a company thats been around as long as pheads overlook this The second dealbreaking problem is that you cant hear your other tracks while youre overdubbing DUH Other problems include only ONE level of undo and a very unorthodox way of deleting holding delete button and dragging tracks For a minute I thought I had finally found a multi track app I could easily overdub vocals on by nope just another crappy app a real musician would never waste his or her time with Major disappointment and makes me want to avoid everything Pheads makes now Frustrated

Love this app honestly but was saddened to discover that it has a lot of bugs if youre trying to use while running iOS 9 The app wont recognize audio input DOESNT WORK ON IOS9

I was recording a song and the app just stop working I turn it back on and it said i had to many recordings so i deleted some of my recordings and when i go back on it does the same thing it just shuts off everytime i click on the song that i want to record Is there a way i can get my save songs I cant load my save songs

This app is great Your recordings can sound really professional However this app would be really amazing if it had a few more things For one PLEASE make that you can record more than 3 separate tracks at a time It is very difficult and annoying to record something to then upload it and then download it to set it as a beat Also it would be awesome if there could be a loop option To record something and then set it to keep playing until whenever THANKS Please add this

I have been writing music professionally for many years For much of that time I have been looking for a device or an app to capture rough song ideas before theyre gone Devices did not really work as I never had them on me when inspiration struck TAKE is exactly what I was looking for Easy fast high quality effects and drumbeats for keeping time Its not too large Always available on my iPhone and its FREE without adverts and annoying inapppurchases or other free version limitations Way to go Proppellarheads I only wish that it was possible to save and load songs directly into my iTunes instead of an online account but thats a small complaint As far as the program goes its simple elegant intuitive and powerful Not to mention fun I highly recommend this app for beginners and pros alike Try it you can always just delete it if you dont agree with me Love this app
