This app is great but the bugs make it annoying The reverb bug has been around for at least 3 years and hasn t been patched With the bug this means no Tabletop exports will have any reverb unless you use INTERFX with a different reverb effect app or Boomroom The iMini sound also bugs and freaks out sometimes and Tabletop crashes practically every Planck time Thanks             VERVE sometimes stops working when exporting and other nasty bugs BeeFef

I think this is a pretty cool app with loads of potential songs to be created with it and a direct competitor to an app like Gadget However on my old iPad 3 it gets glitchy pretty quick as does Gadget so I probably won t be able to get much use out of this until I move up to a new iPad But if you have the latest or recent model iPad you definitely need to download this                 Cool app Rick57

This is a nice app to add to my workflo I haven t had any issues yet The app is pretty self explanatory Can t wait to keep making music                     Happy icedcoffeejamez

Out of the box making a tune is pretty slick but I was never confident about the export feature There s the sound you get during production but the volume meter is deceiving You ll find out what s clipping during post production Some click or pops are too intense I uploaded zen by the pound on SoundCloud extremely bass heavy because of this ah ha moment to lower the master volume Default it s set to 100 in production I d work through a whole track and then route it through M2 and it was so bad that I would route the output through M2 and begin tweaking the individual sounds Totally kills the workflow Anyway dropping the master volume to mid to high 30s gives you low frequencies for the bass in zen by the pound Very excited to put that track together in Tabletop The missing star in the rating I can t dive into a timeline on iMPC or any other device copy cut a sound and navigate to a previous or following loop while staying in the timeline without the entire app crashing I save often Also after the most recent update with improvements to iMPC I can see the frame of the standalone iMPC Pro s transport controls on the iMPC in Tabletop This prevents me from changing sound banks and tracks it s rough Now the 3 D Perform button has Sequence and SQ01 Hook anchored on top for example Try to change a track or sound bank means instant crash Cooold blooded Over all this app is the place to be Thx for reading leeonious update starting to miss the previous version I m in a good groove and I need to create a loop on the fly The app crashes Double tap the home button and I see the session from the night before which is a different song all together After selecting it I can see the range of tunes that I m working on Hope an update comes quick SAVE often Or more often for those that already do make frequent saves             Get this app Watch the track exports Commille

Love the jump to 64 bit and the other improvements but unfortunately I ve seen a lot of crashing going on after the last major update Adding IIA seems to crash the app 90 of the time I first load one so saving frequently is a must Once the bugs are squashed it will go back to being one of my top 5 go to iOS music apps                 Good step forward ZagDontZig

First off I m a heavy and dedicated iPad DAW user Cubasis linear and Korg Gadget unique workflow TableTop which I got first day of it s release stays one of working horses for my inspiration trigger Loving the well thought thru bulk of embedded tool All sounds and also LOOKS awesome Perfect integration with compatible apps Importantly no choking and all solid performance from my fav iMPC MiniMoog and iProphet Besides making my music check SoundCloud Sam Prock I m software programmer so would naver complain on bugs which Retronyms not making many and addresses nicely To be constructive and help the great team grow I would suggest to look at the way the complete song comes together The tool power content and capabilities have overgrown the simplicity of T 101 Triggerator tool revamp is one best area to invest for more usable and better workflow on Tabletop Five Stars and keep up great prod Retronyms                     Must have if you think of yourself as iPad Music Producer Sam Prock

TableTop solves the most urgent issues with making electronic music on the iPad integration This app lets you bring together your synths drum machines and effects and effortlessly integrate them with sequencer and mixer The result is a killer musical sandbox The app is free and comes with all the basics to get started but a few bucks for any of the more robust keyboards or drum machines that are also stand alone apps will enhance the experience and are well worth it Great app wouldn t leave home without it                     Music the way you dream Boatguy2002

this the coolest designed most intuitive music making app for iOS hands down and I own 90 percent of the big ones Only app I can actually finish songs in BUT YOU don t update it you don t add new devices effects get third party developers to add synths sure you have some big name synth emulations from Arturia but why stop there YOU don t market the app nor update it often which almost all musicians who make music on iOS view as important to me it is mind boggling Most iOS musicians don t think much of tabletop which is sad to me and isn t because it isn t good but it s because you don t make it a priority                 This is my favorite ipad app But -/:zidj183637;&

The sequencing concept behind tabletop is sublime for throwing together ideas and seeing what sticks I LOVE that I can export loops and reimport them via audiocopy into an instance of an iMPC to go past the nine instrument limit although I hope for a faster workflow for that one day Simply put if I had to use just one app this would be it by a mile I haven t had major stability issues myself when I have it has autosaved Keep the updates coming                     Legitmately the most fun i ve had spitballing EVER thirdearproductions

i love this app in theory and dropped quite a bit of money on it during the thanksgiving sale it seemed pretty great until i learned that it basically quits every five minutes if that maybe it s just me but disappointing either way             crash crash crash and i dont mean the cymbal myelectron

Loving the tabletop platform and iMPC Pro within it It s gotten me very excited about the future of production on the iPad It s a great place to screw around and make beats It s not going to replace the DAW in your life but if you need a place to lay down some drums chop some samples and make a beat I actually PREFER to do that in iMPC Pro within Tabletop than my collection of actual equipment sitting across the room But the app crashes fairly regularly for me on iPad Air 2 This is the huge negative right now Particularly when doing certain actions like Undo in the History menu Or if I m in note edit mode on iMPC and am switching between loops using the arrow button up top for instance to edit the same note in multiple loops one after the other It just exits no save I have lost confidence in certain convenient actions like that and now continually hit quick save It s quite annoying and I hope they fix it soon The other negative for my production goals at least is that there is no overarching graphical interface for the sequencer or way to view your track in progress You drag and drop your loops and label them so you know what s what but you have to mostly edit them individually It s got an overall oldschool production vibe to it which is very cool but I m used to working in ableton and having a lot more control over the project It can be painstaking and slow to work this way BUT it is what it is Hoping they find ways to push the app further toward DAW than sequencer because I feel the pieces are here for an overall music solution that I would love to work with                 Great App but save your work Calvin crack

First of all I have been with Tabletop for three years This program made it possible for me to begin producing in the first place The concept itself is amazing Without the samples provided you can easily use Tabletop to produce your own beats using the effects and instruments you start with along with your own samples The samples provided although extensive and high quality feel completely computerized It seems as if every beat I start out with feels like a progressive house song Maybe they could add in a TTR realistic drum kit app or add in a sample kit that provides that Moving on although at first it seems advanced Tabletop misses on some pretty important features that should be required in every DAW including the following 1 Ability to toggle certain features such as auto wiring and the precision dial when you tap on a knob 2 Have the click option to sound like a metronome so I don t think my headphones are clipping 3 In the timeline editor be able to go to a specific place in a block and not have to start from the beginning a 32 bar block at 110 bpm kinda long 4 Be able to export sessions themselves in maybe a tabletop file so I can store them elsewhere and bring them back later for editing 5 Name exports other than tabletop wav May have been fixed 6 Similar to Garageband possibly have a Universal Timeline Editor that previews all instruments 7 Cut and paste into different sessions 8 Directly pause in the middle of a block 9 1 16 Triplet and 1 32 Triplet options when vieiwng the Timeline Editor 10 DIFFERENT TIME SIGNATURES OTHER THAN 4 4 11 Do more with samples Reverse time correct stretch shrink speed up break into multiple samples there are some samples I have that I really want to integrade into some songs but I can t because Tabletop refuses to cooperate and fix it to the pace of the song 12 Possibly have one of those instruments that lets you record or input a sample and put it onto a keyboard rather than having to use 16 levels every time 13 Better handling and organization of samples Maybe combine the IMPC IMPC Pro and native drum kit libraries so I don t have to awkwardly copy and paste into each drum kit every time I need one sound library 14 Update your website lol that s some outdated stuff These aren t requesting new features rather adding more options to the features that already exist The app itself is a brillaint concept but the features are too basic to create anything worthwhile Tabletop has room for improvement and the best part is that the developers actively communicate with the users and constantly publish media and news regarding updates and feature tips I am giving the app 5 stars because a lot of people sleep on the app for maybe having too many IAP but already a lot can be done with just the tools provided It takes no effort to get in touch with the developers it just may take effort to get some serious progress under way                     Good Concept Still Lacking Features cavempty

Tabletop used to feel like a poor man s Audiotool No longer It now has its own unique vibe Latest updates and incorporation of Arturia synths better Retronym synths effects and IAA make the app really versatile and robust Even the free version has enough to get you going As Apple s IOS becomes more stable and mature I anticipate apps like Tabletop will become more stable and better It is difficult for developers to keep up with a platform that is constantly changing Please keep the updates coming                     Becoming a Mature App Guycoolio
