Sygic US: GPS Navigation

This app STINKS Stop updating it if youre not going to improve it When I first bought it it worked fine NOW no voice instructions in spite of enabling it in settings Just made a short trip from Victoria to Austin Tx The navigation was inaccurate and kept telling me to go North when I needed to be going South Kept trying to turn me around Use Google Maps which comes on IPhone 5 It works beautifully and gets you to where youre going ACCURATELY BIGGEST problem is I recommended this app to a friend before I realized it had taken a nose dive and she BLEW 3000 for crap that doesnt work Just another overpriced app Take it back to the drawing board     Sygic

I purchased this app few years ago after I upgraded the os I tried to download this app again and got charged second time     got charged twice

I love the innovation in sygic but when it comes to delivering the product everything just goes so bad This app is very glitchy and unstable I would not recommend it until I am sure it will not take you to a place in the middle of the ocean There is still a lot of work to achieve here so save your money The price is not worth the service        Good Potential Bad Delivery

My Garmin GPS recently died and need to be returned for repair This gave me a great opportunity to test Sygic GPS app for my iPhone The software seemed very good except that it talked and beeped alerts way too often This was mostly fixed by changing the system defaults The presentation of the map of Washington state was very good looking However the accuracy of the WA map was terrible In 5 trips it had the following errors 1 It had the wrong location for my daughter 20 year old home It wa 5 miles off 2 It wanted to take me off of a state highway and route me around a residential block then back onto the highway to a place I had passed 5 minutes sooner 3 On I5 well between exits it yelled tuen left here Then it continued as if nothing had happened 4 Its choice of the route was very strange in several places Since I often drive a 40 RV towing a car bad routes are very problematic While I have some minor issues with my Garmin GPS I will be glad when I can go back to using it        Poor maps

The app is great on top view it should put the car at the bottom of the screen to show better roads ahead I would buy it again                 Works very nice

Traveled from Puerto Rico to Pennsylvania and worked excellent Although it was my first time there I traveled the entire state without getting lost I definitely recommend it                 Great

I own and use 11 different Navigation apps and this is clearly one of the best USA GPS apps available Unique among the Navigation apps is the spoken warning of how many miles per hour you are driving over the speed limit and a spoken message telling you of approaching rest stops This app has the largest on screen speed limit indicator of all of the navigation apps making it easy to quickly glance at your Iphone screen and know what the speed limit is This app is more highly customizable than most GPS apps                 Excellent USA GPS Navigation a App

Comparing this app vs Tomtom vs Magillan I like this one better Magellan is not released any new update for year TomTom no longer using Google search its now searching through FB and FourSquare are not something that I can trust So far I like Sygic not perfect but easy to follow No complaints so far for CA and HI                 Good Easy to follow around CA and HI

I purchased this app because my gps in my car was out of date It was going to costa good bit to have it updated When I purchased this app it was like 80 something dollars but said it was on sale for like 40 something I thought to myself well thats an awful lot for an app even on sale but its cheaper than updating my car gps So I purchased it Only it didnt give me the sale price It charged me the full amount of over 80 dollars and I wasnt able to get my money back Save yourself the money and trouble and download a free gps app This one is difficult to use as well and beyond frustrating Map quest or the one that simply came on your iPhone is better than this stupid waste of money app     Not 40 dollars

I have used sygic in North Carolina Virginia and Georgia and it has never let me down something I cannot say for a couple of the others                 Excellent

As a long time user of Sygic maps Ive seen a steady improvement in features and information accuracy except for the last version when things went wrong at least in my area of the country But in the new version Sygic has fixed those problems and made the service even better Thanks                 Great Update

Just did a 2000 mile motorcycle trip Did everything that my brothers Garman did No disappointments For 25 money well spentgreat featureseasy to use I recommend it to anyone that wants to use their phone for navigation                 great nav app

I had it for many years It has been improved a lot since I purchased It could be better if driving paths could be saved and all required State maps for any planning trip could be downloaded automatically              A Functional GPS

map needs to be updated i cannot search the places where i want to go i needed to find address from google map almost every time and then typed the address the worse thing is that this app did not allow me to use copypaste so i could not just pasted address from google map i needed to type it sometimes the app did not recognize the address its pretty useless     i would not recommend this app

I a wasted 30 on the wrong version N America at first and b another 25 on the correct version USA to find out that the app will only load on the phone and not on the Pioneer AVIC series It might run on the original SPH AppRadio series but does not work at all on the AVIC series which also has AppRadio but was obviously designed differently Obviously not tested by Pioneer or Sygic for all models before releasing Total fraud     Total Fraud Wont Work wAppRadio As Advertised

seems to work fine on the phone itself app radio compatibility car connectivity is not very good itll tell me directions but the screen on my AVHx5500BHS just stays the same Yes my iPhone 5 is connected correctly Has this app been updated for iOS7 That would be cool           soso

As many others have noted voice directions suddenly stop without warning This happened to me on multiple occasions while driving Second Sygic fails to pick the most intuitive routes For instance on one occasion it repeatedly attempted to drag me off a highway even when that road was both the shortest and fastest venue available Do not waste your money     I would NOT buy this app

Wouldnt work Kept crashing When Id restart the app Id keep having to reenter the same address Regardless it would ultimately stop working Iphone 6 plus     Crashes

The latest update has no volume navigation Default reset doesnt help either        No volume

Cant use this app now with version 14 My iPhone 5s keeps force closing this app Also after calculating a new route the route overview does not show the entire route as it is cut off on the map Also when trying to do a voice search using the microphone button Sygic always omits the first letter of the search Also fullscreen view is always defaulted as OFF now Also simplified Lane guidance arrows cover up the car icon Edit app freezes every time I try to update downloaded maps     3D terrain missing from Chicago in new version

I own at least six GPSs but I wind up using this app on my iPhone and iPad so that I dont have to carry any extra units Ive used it all over the USA and have been very happy with the results                 Outstanding

Takes a tiny bit of time to transition to as compared to other gpss and gps apps but once you get into it you will find it superior in performance I would recommend it to anyone who can think things through Great program     I really like this app

Downloaded this to use with my AppRadio The 40 in app purchase to make this happen didnt work I contacted support and two weeks later I got an email that said that they were sending me a bulk email because they had too many support requests and that I should wait for the next version to be released and see if that solves my problem Wasted 40 on this piece of junk     Dont Bother

Bought this hoping to find a user friendly GPS app for my AppRadio and came up finding it was a waste of my money There are way too many options making it complicated and even after everything is set up it didnt work correct Very disappointed after reading so many good reviews     Not user friendly at allor worthy money

I have owned this app for a little over a 2years I updated it just 1 month ago though all issues would be fixed NOPE I went to use it last week for a trip to Kansas City and it wanted me to download something while I was on the road Use up my DATA and download does not ever complete I just switched over to Google Maps and WAS VERY HAPPY STAY AWAY from this darn ap I MEAN IT When I bought it everything was fine then the updates came and the app has NEVER worked right since I have had crashes lost info and programming just not working right I demanded my money back twice and it never happened Rather I was told updated would fix it Well it never did Finally it worked again I think enough people complained but now HERE WE ARE AGAIN as of August 18 the newest updates asks you to download something about maps I tried and now everything is gone I can go anywhere Stupid developers are clueless You do NOT have customers pay for a GPS system that has issues with every update and u certainly should not have updates that erase maps This is the WORST app ever made and every time I think they have fixed issues I am forced to download things that take forever and actually never fix the issue As of today August 30 my fully paid GPS app does NOT work and there are no maps and its confusing to even get beyond the new pages of voices and maps Seriously what the I cant say what I really want to say here just beware If u buy this app get ready for a TON of aggravation     The ap gets WORSE not better

I needed a reliable GPS map in Florida and decided to use Sygic US despite negative reviews It works well with my iPhone 5 in offline mode Well worth the money                 Dont know why so much negativity

This app has a fatal flaw for a Navigation app It is grossly inaccurate in estimating the time en route to a destination It estimates 2 hours and 37 minutes for a 98 mile trip I take often The trip actually takes 1 hour 40 minutes so it is off by 57 minutes on a 1 hour 40 min trip I have been in email contact with Sygic and they are aware of the problem but it has been a couple of months and it is still not fixed This app has features that I love but the most basic thing I need from a navigation app is to accurately estimate the time to a destination     Bad over rides the good

Pretty good none are perfect but has good features I really like the fact that all the maps are on your phone especially nice in big cities where signal is weak and slow not a problem for me                 Map software

I have been very impressed with both the US and European versions of this app The 3D views are very good as well as lane information The options for notifications and settings exceed any other apps or GPS units I have used I recommend it highly Also nice that you can download just the areas you need and delete them when not needed                 Excellent GPS App
