Swype - Keyboard

I read emails but avoid responding because the iOS keyboard it too slow and frustrating Swype isnt perfect but its much much better                 Love it

This isnt a knock on Swype per se IOS needs to allow using third party keyboards on the lock screen to quick reply to messages Its pointless for me to have to keep switching from one keyboard to another based on which part of the os Im in Otherwise Swype is perfect              IOS needs more permissions

This kb is soooo frustrating to use with its crazy autocorrect that doesnt quit even when you delete and retype the word five times It also doesnt appear often in spotlight searches and youre left with no kb at the bottom Craziest thing is it will sometimes do CamEl caSe text for no reason and tech support has no idea I deleted it with the arrival of iOS 9 because Im fed up with the kb disappearing in spotlight Hope it improves           Frustrating but good

Stop auto punctuation after a question mark Make it easy to type in an email address Make it so you can save an email address Put a number row on top How come it is so difficult to place a curser in the middle of a word 99 of the time I have to erase the entire word to make a correction Help        What a downgrade

Love that iPhone has store now It was the one thing missing for iPhones but now with my new 6s needs 3D touch updates           Needs 6s 3D touch update

Love it as default keyboard but emoji can be better                 Pretty good at typing

Again STOP autocorrect this app used to be ok but lately Im always editing everything I really regret buying an app that doesnt even have settings the only seeing it has is Allow full access LoL really     Was ok now is just bad

Every time I open my messages or click a text box I have to switch it back over to the Swype keyboard from the iPhone keyboard It is so frustrating to have to take that extra step when Im trying to write something quickly The whole point of Swype is to text faster or fill a box faster I might try to find one that stays open and delete this one     Works barely

The original swiping keyboard and still the best Takes time to get used to but when you do you wont go back to tap tap keyboards again The way keyboards are meant to be on touchscreen                 One of the best and original

This is a huge frustration How hard can it be to disable the auto caps at the beginning of each sentance Makes it unusable for terminals and casual messages        Auto caps always on

There are way too many glitches on iOS 9keyboard will appear half off the screen on some apps and then when it appears correctly it stops halfway through words        Great WHEN IT WORKS

If youre a Swype fan it wouldnt hurt spending the extra dollar Some reviews intimitaed me but I dont see any major flaws Yes its a grammar Nazi but itll add custom words to your Swype memory Its simple and cheap Worth a buck                 Worth a dollar

Not perfect but Ive tried about 4 different apps and have come across none better              Very Good

The predictive text capabilities on this keyboard are fantastic Swype is a little more natural and able to compensate for a lot of errors with one handed operation I only wish I could disable the emojis              Fantastic keyboard

Half the time the lowest row of keys dont appear so I cant use the space or return keys Would not be a problem if updates ever happened but this is clearly abandonware     Broken

almost there slow if you TYPE it tries to correct anyway should left what you typed doesnt show all emojis autocorrect sometimes is annoying        almost there

This keyboard should be based on human logic It acts like a stupid machine with no common sense It is very annoying when auto corrects with no sense or reason Please improve it The numbers SHOULD look big enough The auto correct is really bad It forces you with correction and changes what you write with no permission Omg It drives me nuts     Needs a lot of improvement

I love Swype I just cant use it Under IOS 9 it crashes on my phone every single time I use it Prior to IOS 9 it worked pretty well It crashed periodically but I was happy to stick with it because the functionality was awesome compared to other apps As of IOS 9 I can type exactly one word before it crashes and the Apple keyboard pops up The app is now completely unusable I went to the Swype website to report a bug and discovered that the only way to do so is to sign up for their forums Okay I filled out the application and figured I could quickly report the bug Nope now I have to be approved Maybe once they deign to approve me I might go back and report this bug but this is more work than I want to do to report a bug for a minor app Im now using SwiftKey Its not quite as polished as Swype when it comes to capitals and punctuation but it works     Impossible to use hard to report bugs

Love this app EXCEPT that it adds an extra period at the end of sentences that dont end with a period Need an example There you go theres another one Its annoying to have to go back in and remove them Thank you           Please fix the punctuation glitch

This app is BROKEN on iOS 9 You have to uninstall and reinstall the keyboard restart whatever app you want to type in and do all kinds of janky stuff to get the keyboard to work correctly AT ALL Most of the time THAT doesnt even work Absolutely zero stars this keyboard has so many bugs its not even WORTH using     ABSOLUTELY BROKEN

Update 3 Im writing this update with the Swype keyboard so looks like Apple finally fixed that bug They also added emojis huzah Still no speech to text Thats kinda a bummer but were moving in the right direction Also did I mention how solid this app is now Very very polished not getting annoying hiccups and crashes like I have ever since launch Update 2 Still no speech to text or easy emoji access Switching to Swiftkey Update They just released a big update and there is still no easy emoji access or speech to text Lowering my 3 star to a 1 star The biggest problem to me is that its really easy to accidentally switch back to the stock keyboard when Im trying to get to punctuation And punctuation is laid out completely differently than stock I feel like nuance forgot that weve all been using one standard keyboard for the last seven years It also seems to me that Apple needs to work out a few things that make this particularly difficult to use For instance Im writing this review with the stock keyboard cause swype wont even work in app reviews           One key feature

Swype just isnt working out They hope itll learn what I want to write and that itll be able to predict what Id like to write but its corrections are just plain nuts I spend way too much time correcting its corrections     Doesnt learn makes lots of mistakes

The functionality this app offers is great speeds up typing by a lot The implementation is pretty buggy with the keyboard switching back to default and other glitches Lacks advanced settings like disabling capitalizing letters in the middle of the word           Great functionality pretty buggy

After the upgrade to the new iOS the keyboard removes itself every time I lock the phone Also there is a bug when you try to paste i have to make the keyboard go away then try to paste again Both of these are annoying and make it unusable        Fix iOS 90 issues

I used this on my Samsung phone and I feel like it worked a lot better then the version they have here I wish it had the double tap for a period instead of it being right next to the space When it corrects words it could do a better job too Sometimes it changes the right word to the wrong word after Ive already written the next word Its trying to fix my grammar but it does it wrong Another great fix would be to get rid of the emojis on this keyboard and just make it easier to get to the emoji keyboard that is on the phone already Hopefully they will keep working on it and make it better and I can change the rating           Could be better

The predictive aspect of this app is not as accurate since the ios 9 update at least for me I used to love it because I could text with one hand Now Im plunking reviews out with my Apple keyboard           Somebody has some splainin to do

Well it is good and use it daily I noticed with 901 that the keyboard doesnt always show and I get the iOS keyboard instead I also find that no keyboard at all shows in the messaging app These could be iOS issues           Like it

This is no where near as good as the real swype The autocorrect is awful and the overall interface doesnt work well You only get access to 15 the emojis and other unnecessary draw backs make me wish I had never wasted the dollar on this app     Terrible

I really like using this as it is very smooth and efficient although the auto correct is horrible Also I do feel that for a paid app it is lacking themes and I feel there should be a demo mode to allow you to see what the animations actually look like instead of letting you buy it and test it out I paid for the animations bundle and love it and would certainly buy more animations if there were more options Also it would be nIce if we could customise the button placement Overall though it is fast and beautiful if you can afford the extra themes           Great But needs improvements

I very rarely write reviews but this app deserves credit I didnt even get this app originally I got my new iPhone and was just going through my familys purchased apps and saw it wondered what it was and thought Id give it a try WOW I dont know why the other negative reviews Ive been using it like crazy and Ive only had to fix 23words Even then I went the wrong way on the keyboard Im honestly amazed Extremely accurate I absolutely love how it even gives emoji in the predictive text Very cool feature Fantastic when you only have one hand to type with I may even pay for some of the cool themes too Love that its also very easy to change to other keyboards if needed The ONLY thing I would suggest as an enhancement is seeing the original emoji keyboard when needing an emoji Other than that I love it                 SO much more than I expected

Please fix the builtin emoji keyboard The enlarged emojis looks horrible on the 6s plus Pushing down on emojis to change the skin tone only adds to the favorite tab which in itself is unnecessary with the recently used tab Looking forward to what you will do with 3D touch maybe a hard push to allow quick scrolling between words           Getting better

Im super glad Swype actually got an iPhone app It makes it so much more easier to actually text on my phone I dont see how this app has problems it runs flawless on my phone Yeah a few weird words may get typed up but if you over Swype on a word thats when it mostly happens If you take off the auto correct function is a lot more tolerable                 Freaking awesome

Add the option to swype multiple words at one time and add space at end of the sentence The add space option does not work        Please update

This app barely deserves one star The autocorrect is horrendous constantly changing perfectly sensible words into jibberish For example instead of Lets go to the park It says lEts goi to the pArk It randomly capitalizes letters in the middle of a word autocorrects to words that dont exist etc The emoji keyboard is poorly organized and the images appear fuzzy It will autocorrect words you commonly use into words you have never even typed before Not to mention it is gathering large amounts data from your phone and your contacts phones I can get off the phone with someone and a subject we discussed or a person that they commonly text with will then pop up in my autocorrect word options This is beyond creepy and definitely an invasion of privacy It has happened to me too many times for coincidence After giving this app several months to update and fix the errors I decided to uninstall Its not worth any of these huge flaws     Unacceptable

Swype works when turned on in keyboards but it isnt the first keyboard when the keyboard pops up You have to cycle through the keyboards to use it Id like it to be the keyboard that pops up when I start typing        Works but not really

iOS not having Swype was the ONLY reason i didnt buy an iPhone before i switched All in all this is a great keyboard couldnt do without it but it has many kinks to iron out for ios Four stars but to counter the negative reviews Im putting five stars                 Awesome keyboard

What made you think this was ready I cant even write a review with the keyboard selected Constantly crashes apps like iMessage Most of the time it doesnt recognize a contiguous swipe and breaks it up Fix it Wheres Japanese support     Needs improvement

Ive been using Swype on my Samsung galaxy without any issues and now Im using it on my iPhone 6s and its even more intuitive No idea why people are complaining about the auto correct You can disable it Highly recommended                 Excellent

I really like this keyboard once you are used to it it is much faster then pecking at your phone The only things I dont like are the undopaste bar on top off the keyboard If takes up to much of the screen and is unneeded as the normal iPhone copypaste functions still work Also the actual keyboard software isnt as smooth as the native iOS one About half the time it doesnt open its self or it will open over the text field and not roll the text up so you can read what you are typing Like now this last sentence is all under the keyboard and I cannot see what Im saying Which is stupid              Almost there

Since updating to iOS 9 Swype is very buggy Please update asap           Needs iOS 9 update

App is great for typing but it CAN be kind of irritating when auto correct tries too much If I were to request any big changes to the app I would say they need to revise the auto correcting system and get it more similar to the standard keyboard The keyboard should already know most of the words that I save in the dictionary Also I feel like that after these new iOS updates the emoji portion of this keyboard need to have an entire overhaul to include colored emojis and generally a better layout              Just needs a few more fixes
