I had high hopes this new surf activity tracker would be everything it claims It s not Well the GPS side works ok but the supporting app is complete garbage From the moment I installed it it kept crashing I entered simple profile information crash I updated my low res profile pic crash There are some apparent neat features of this app to visualise data collected by Trace sensors but the app is unbearable to use Hope they fix the bugs soon or I ll be moving the the Rip Curl GPS watch that is more expensive but has less bugs and more convenient to use         Constantly crashing data fails to save Sinister_Rouge_BR

Great product but would like to see an option to build your quiver in your equipment field such as glassy and Ultratide have The equipment field is not very intuitive especially if you have more than 3 boards                 Great product Surfranger1973

I noticed that I push myself harder during a session recorded by Trace Things like paddling faster or giving it a couple more strokes to ensure catching that roller or trying to turn sharper and getting as many turns as possible and trying to ride further by milking it to the very end of the wave Plus the sprint paddle back out to catch more waves As a result I feel like I rewound my mindset and drive 20 years back and it has also enhanced me physically                     Personal Motivator RaydaSpray

Hey Guys I ve been noticing this app crashing right after I sync my surf sesssion onto my iphone 6 Also noticed recently that my session sheets nolonger work where s before you can see recent session sheets right below your profile now its not showing up and once you click on profile tab app crashes Although I get emails from trace with a link to session sheet on a web browser in about 20mins it d be nice to see my session sheets on my phone again I ve deleted and re installed this app twice on my phone still the same result Trace please fix this issue ASAP Love your product and your work Best L         App Crashes in Profile Tab after syncing session Lawrence2u

I am really happy with Trace and the app in general but since the Aug 29 update the app crashes when I go to PROFILE on my iPhone 6 Please update soon again so I can use it again             App crashes in PROFILE tab tazlaudi

I love Trace I use it mostly for two sports sup surf and sup race and being that I m a professional stand up paddler receiving the data for each gives me some really cool insight to what I m doing out there From the turning radius on sup surf to the paddle strokes per minute on sup race it gives me info that I didn t have or know of before I can also compare with other surfers or racers that I admire which is cool and I think one of my most favorite parts of it I can compete with friends After a session even if my friends are halfway around the world we can compete for longest ride quickest speed etc All we have to do is upload the files and bam If my score gets beaten I m always sure to hear it from the friend who did and get heckled by the others It makes sessions that much more fun Great product Thanks Trace                     My friends surf like what Sean Poynter

I ve had Trace for a few months now It s a very cool concept but I will say that the design is in its early stages I ran into several issues in the past with my data being incorrect or just not loading at all It took some time to communicate with the support staff and get it worked out Overall the idea for the product is great and the device itself is small and compact The new updates are fixing some of the bugs and it is worth having overall This will definitely be a 5 star device and app with a little more refining and I believe that the trace team will accomplish that very soon                 Trace Connor S 93

First off I am really enjoying my trace device It has given me a new motivation to get out in the water even on the smaller days I do have some suggestions that I think could really enhance the user experience 1 I am a multi sport user and I would assume there many others If both apps were combined into one it would make the app much easier to view A solution for the users only active in either snow or surf is to add a filter in your news feed or user profile Also it may help the rankings in the App Store with total user numbers and ratings numbers 2 In Trace Surf my paddling is not tracked It would be a great feature to add Viewing the Rip Curl app they have that feature and it is cool to see 3 Allow more freedom to customize your post in the news feed Once it is posted you cannot delete or edit it that I am aware of 4 I liked and commented on a friends posts to test if he was getting notifications and he was not Not sure if that is a current feature 5 To be able to name a location that is unknown For example I went backcountry skiing in the Teton National Park and when I posted my stats for the day it just said I was in an unknown location If the concern is the potential for oversaturated geotagging maybe a user could submit the location for approval Once again I am really excited about my device and I look forward to see this product get better and better Hopefully you find these suggestions useful                     Great App Some suggestions to make it better Striker2105
