I m a truck driver who hauls oversize loads where sunrise and sunset times are critical An error can cost around 500 So far this app has done well as far as accuracy is concerned but it would benefit from a better list of cities I find myself hoping I have wifi so I don t have to set my position manually on the map This app is trustworthy but would benefit from additional development and patches                 It s ok Hobojoe1985

Have had this app for almost 2 years it used to go to set location without any problems now have to make five trips around the barn just to get info that used to just pop up not happy with what you did to it please put it back the way it was Now really inconvenient If it hadn t cost money I would have dumped it by now             Used to be five stars Sulphur River Rat

Always starts by trying to get location If last location was map or city search it should remember it Also better date handeling would be good From the main sun screen you can only go up or down one day at a time I know you can go into the date set mode but that seems like a lot of extra clicks when a popup or swipe would do             Ok app jefhemz

I was looking for an app that would store more than one location This app only stores one Looking to compare sunrise sunset locations side by side Will say it has pretty pics and easy to use Only one FL city listed need more Can only choose cities listed cannot search specific cities It would be more ideal if user could store more than one location and retrieve from retrieved save             Wanted to compare locations Star Z

Excellent app I love the moon especially full moons I also have painted moonscapes with oil paints and this app Let s me know exactly what time the moon rises or sets or for that matter where it is in the sky at any time of any day I just use the map and drag the pin to my location to get sun and moon info tc                     Sun and Moon thomas_crown50

Has all the info but have to look it up each time by hand when the city is not in the list Why can t we save a list of perhaps 5 7 locations frequently used Can only save last location inputted A pain when planning a trip to photograph in western USA as most areas are not listed as there are no cities nearby So one has to drag the pin from place to place time and again across multiple states as there is no where we can save a list of areas such as Jackson Wyo Helendale Ca etc         Sun n Moon Karn 243

Both my son and I are into photography and since we got this app we have become sunset photo buffs Knowing the exact time of the sunset makes it so easy This summer we travelled from Oregon to the mid west where the sunsets were spectacular and right on time as shown in this app Very cool that the program could use the built in GPS and auto correct for our new location Anyone who loves to photograph the great outdoors will love this app                     Sun n Moon Gary Oregon

this rev is exactly what I needed This app has reached the top There is no way to improve it from here I photograph sunrise sunsets moonrise moonsets and used to have to fake out the app by setting the ipod time and date to the time of the event I was interested in to get an actual compass direction for where on the horizon things are going to happen Not anymore You can set your location in maps to exactly where you are and with the new rev know exactly where on the horizon the rise set is going to occur If you are into photography this is EXACTLY what you need for this type of landscape photos Fantastic job in providing this update There aren t enough stars to actually rate it The only thing to improve on its usefulness to me is for apple to finally get a gps in the ipod touch so I can pinpoint my location exactly but that ball is in apples court thanx for a great update hallmark                     not enough stars hallmark_s

A great little app that I use all the time On my 3GS running the latest OS there s an annoying little bug when the autolocate on startup option is on It seems to find the right location but it s always 3 hours off in the time zone A work around is to go to the map settings and click the find where I am button then turn off the autolocate on startup option But it would be nice to have this bug fixed                 Great app but a minor bug some_random_nerd

Beautiful layout very easy to read Another comment here said you can t save manually entered locations but you can You just need to turn off the auto locate at startup I like how the phases of the moon animate for different days All of the iOS4 issues seem to be fixed Nice addition of the animation of sun and moon position and elevation throughout the day                     Excellent interface Bruce5911

I mostly want to know when it will get dark It would be nice to add the civil twilight Also the interface could look a little nicer Replace the sunrise set photos with icons Add a nice background get rid of the display boxes around the the times they look like a place to input text                 Good but not great Jenntress

Nice look but does not save lat and long info and I am at a location where autolocate is not available so I had to enter that data manually evertime I wanted to use it Too much of a drag I lost my 0 99         Definitely not great Cacm

The ideal app would have 1 sunrise sunset 2 moon rise moon set 3 moon phase 4 sun moon compass and 5 graphic world time of day daylight dark This app has all except 5 However I just downloaded v 1 2 to an ipod touch with v3 0 software installed and the new moon phase graphic shown on the advertisement is not part of the software despite indicating it is present in S M 1 2 Also I agree entering a zip code should be available for setting location Otherwise a good value                 Very good but some problems JagWired

I down loaded this application mainly for the moon set times It works great for this need Would like to see a graphical representation of the moon phase on the same page as the moon rise and set times Currently you need to go to a different area to get that information in text form                 Handy application Gim211

I wanted the app because I like to look at the moon with my telescope and always wondered when it rose But I got more than I expected it tells me where it rises and where it s at in the sky I love this app 5 Stars                     Awesome App iSutton

I drive a lot right around sunrise and sunset I like to do more of my driving while it s light so i use this app to try to optimize the daylight It would be nice if there was AM and PM display options that would give it 4 stars from me The ability to show the moon phases would give it another star from me             Nice little program but could still use some help sarah from indiana

It doesn t just give you the times but it also shows me my exact location my time zone and it can tell me the info i need for many many many years into the future Love to see more updates soon Especially the option to view a customizable calendar with the availiablity to see the sunset and sunrise time for that day or moon rise and moon set ect for however many days months or years the user wants to see without having to scroll through the dates and then check that info for them seperately         I like it Alec smith

The interface is nice but the application is missing one huge thing It needs an option to enter a zip code Using major cities is useful for time setting but not for sunset sunrise as this differs from location to location I suppose for iPhone users it might work OK but for iPod Touch users this is not sufficient as Wi Fi network location is far less than accurate at any given time The software tried to locate me and had the sun setting 2 hours later than it actually does But the closest major city listed is Denver CO USA 600 miles away and far to the east leaving sunset off by several minutes Not good         OK but needs work Kscherer MacLife

Easy to use does all the work for you Calculates times by determining your current location or select a city from the list I travel all the time and helps to know if I will be driving a rental car in the dark Haven t found a good use for the moonrise set feature yet                     handy for anyone outside awesome for travelers PatPhx
