I love this app I am a college student studying film Where else do you find an app that pays you to use it The Stringr team gives feedback on every video and I get paid for the quality videos I literally get paid to improve my skills Winning College Student Happy
I live in a beautiful pretty popular part of America It could be that the app cant find requests or Im just not in a popular enough area Kind of a bummer Ill just cross my fingers and wait Cant Find Any Requests
The app works great and I love that you can browse requests for footage then easily submit your shots and get paid Well designed app and a great idea
Get to the scene get footage start upload immediately 5 hours later upload bombs out at 65 upload continued to error out and never completed They never received footage Im not gonna get paid 25 hours of my time wasted not to mention gasoline expense Time waster
Latency with real time requests and actual goings on is brutal If requested to film an event likely its too late Also several false alerts meaning a request for footage of a working fire yet no fire Add the fact that the user cannot correct inaccurate info on a request for footage nor able to clear outdated footage or time sensitive that is way past due I have not even tried to add unsolicited footage because I dont imagine there are credible sources looking to this app as a bona fide depository I sent constant feedback and I think this just turned out to be a half baked idea Not a bad idea however
The Gps is always on draining the battery I change the gps option to never the programer needs to add the option only wen using the application GPS always on instead on only wen usiy

Clever app Allows you to be notified when news outlets need video of events near you You shoot it with your phone upload it and when the station downloads the video you get paid I tried it in San Diego and it worked Got paid the next day Great and Innovative App
It works well and the idea is great Anyone can contribute to journalism now and get paid Good app
