Stringer: Customize Your Shuffled Music

You know when you shuffle 20000 songs and hear one that you havent heard in forever Then you want to hear more by the same band This allows you to quickly insert more songs from that band without killing the rest of your shuffle Very cool                 I didnt even know I needed this

This is the best fix Ive seen for the stock Music apps inability to make onthefly queues The recent update fixed all of the bugs that I previously experienced However the one feature I think was approached the wrong way is automatically playing whatever song you are viewing further down the String Sometimes I would like to scroll through and remove songs and add others without stopping the current playback Overall very satisfied with the potential of this app and hopefully it will encourage Apple to add similar functionality to their default app the one I go to the most Keep up the good work and cant wait for updates maybe a Notification Center widget with some basic functions like removing songs that are up next that you dont want to hear                 Great app just shy of being perfect

I love love having the control over shuffle instead of having apples top rated come up where shuffle doesnt even really become shuffle anymore What I would love to see is a play more like this by genre not necessarily by artist Or thumbs up or thumbs down like pandora              Suggestions

I happen to have alarge music library and when im listening to a good song in one album thats acompletely different genreand mood from whats next on shuffle then im very glad to be able to switch to the left and continue listening to that then switch back to the same shuffle All in all the interface is great to look at too                 good app for people who love to do well exactly as it says

This appI love it until it randomly crashes upon launching it and causes you to lose the song you left off on Has crashed 4 times in 2 days on me If this is fixed this will become my every day music app I do wish the app had a search function to add any artistsong to the string at any time           Crashes on iPhone 6 losing your place

I was originally coming here to rate this app with three stars but the app mysteriously updated exactly then I tested it out again and it works much better than before Four stars from me some of my album artwork is still missing but the apps performance has improved greatly              102 is much less crashhappy

I started using this app about a month ago and paid the upgrade fee Its easy to start It seems to play a lot of what I like I dont quite get how to save or create my own strings but its somehow become my goto music player I twasnt working with ios 9 at first on my iphone 6 but it started working again about a week ago Maybe there was an update I got and missed Dont care Loving having it                 I dont understand how it works but I love it

If youre like me and you like to read the version update notes you would have enjoyed the one they just put out V 103 I think Its actually what prompted me to leave this 5star review Please never change guys At the same time do what makes you happy I want you to be happy Aside from that the app brings some long needed changes that really should have been implemented on the standard Apple Music app 4 years ago UI is well done Kudos guys                 Impressed

Its refreshing to see something completely new and difference from a music player This is a fun app                 Unique and Awesome

Once in a while an app comes along and changes the way we experience a facet of our mobile life Some that come to mind are Mailbox for email RIP Sparrow Tweetbot for Twitter and Flipboard for social medianews I really think Stringer is that app for shuffled music Stringer will shuffle your songs on a string and represent them with their respective album art The beauty of the app is you can customize the shuffling as youre listening the songs something that the stock music would never let you do When you hear a song from an album that you love or that you havent listen to in a while you can swipe left and add any songs from that album to the string If the song youre hearing is just terrible you can long press the album art and tell Stringer to hide the song the album or the artist all together The interface is fluid and intuitive and watching the stringalbum art boop back and forth never gets old The only problem is I mostly listen to classical music and shuffling the movements of a Mahler symphony makes as much sense as reading the Harry Potter books in random order But Stringer helped me rediscover how awesome the first MuteMath album is D                 A great new way to experience shuffled music

Great app A fun and useful way to listen to music I listen to most of my music on the iPad so a version for that would be perfect Im not sure if there is a good way to implement streaming services but that would be my only other suggestion                 A Better Way to Shuffle

This has already replaced my music app I just have to requests when you scroll through the songs make it so it doesnt automatically change to the new song after a time lapse a click would be good Also when I scroll back to the current song it starts over after the time lapse Besides those two problems this is awesome Thanks                 Awesome

Crashed during the first 5 seconds of opening Then after reopening it crashed again this time though it made it to 15     Crashtastic on 4S

I dont get out much so this is the first app Ive seen that works with my iTunes music I like the strings idea a lot the gestures are perfect dont spend much time building a use case let the app build a string start picking tunes and see how smoothly everything fits together if you never upgrade the app its plenty of fun but my feeling is 5 bucks worth of inapp purchase is money well spent enjoy                 its probably buggy but its still way cool

Only problem is that the app crashes constantly It worked fine in the beginning but now it just crashes before I can even open it Tried reinstalling the app and resetting my iPhone but still didnt work Please fix the app so that I can purchase the unlocks and use all the cool features I have an iPhone 6 I cant even send in my crash log because it crosses before I can access the crash alert When the app is updated Ill give it 5 stars     Great app Built for shufflers just like me

I am an audiophile am always looking for good app products i can see the iOs music app is doing well the missing thing is the equalizers String have an amazing UI interface a great idea for music lovers to play their music in an enjoyable way i like it and i do recommend you guys to put some equalizers in Good luck                 Music in my vain

I always have that moment listening to one artist and it reminds me of another one of their songs but the built in app makes it a pain plus I cant go back to shuffling again This app solves that problem and has a unique UI to boot                 exactly what i want
