String Wars: Learn guitar - Play using a real guitar, Compete with friends, and Share the music

It never worked ok my iPad it keeps crashing after picking a song Too bad because I really wanted to learn playing guitar     Doesnt work

I use this in between lessons and after wanting to kill Rocksmith              Enjoy it

Its been doing great since the latest update I can now learn some songs with my guitar                 Great app

Its a lot of fun and is the coolest guitar game from the App Store ever                 Awesome game

This app has the potential to be great but the developer seems intent on letting you do nothing but see the ultimate guitar app purchase screen any time you try to download tabs from the Internet Is the commission that good that nearly EVERY press on the screen causes the App Store to load Unusable at this point since I cant get the content I want     Has promise developer greedy

It crashed a few times but other than that I am enjoying this app And it comes with a whole bunch of free songs                 Works Great

I downloaded this app and tried connecting to Facebook and it said connection error so I thought whatever Ill just skip for now AND IT WONT LET ME INTO THE APP ANY FURTHER Ugh waist of time     DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP

I must be stupid because I cant get this thing to work It tells me tap screen to play and when I try to strum it freezes     Doesnt work

I am thankful to have come across this app My guitar is out of closet and am learning chords without getting bored                 Best guitar learning app

This thing forces you to log in to fb on the intro screen or else you cant continue I dont want to have anything to do with Facebook so why should you insist on logging in I cant even try your product Horrible        Cant even begin wo logging into Facebook

I really like this app You can use any Guitar Pro tab Which means just about every song written Really great for learning new songs Its not perfect but you cant beat the price It didnt work with my Line 6 cable but it works perfect with my cheap Griffin cable                 Great Fun

Crashed on iPhone 5 on first use after installing it Wouldnt have paid a penny for it Only installed as it was free DO NOT waste your money on this     Crashed in the first time after installing

Its a good app for me a beginner I found some scale exercises that keep me interested in playing Boring scales The only feature missing is the ability to create your own exercises within the app Also I would like to turn off tab view and only see the notes Fun app for guitarist                 Great motivator to play

I was looking for a guitar app to learn how to play I saw this and thought it was perfect I love the idea and how its set up but it wont recognize my acoustic guitar It would pick up the first note but not after that I tuned it to coordinate with the app but it still didnt work     Very poor

Cant get it to load at all Sorry but the content may be outstanding however if I cant use it whats the point     No stars

When I downloaded this app I was under the impression that it was intuitive After playing only a handful of songs albeit on various difficulties and tempos I have discovered that nothing could be further from the truth I was extremely disappointed to find that I had to pluck various notes several times before they registered I tuned my guitar beforehand suspecting that the software wouldnt function with a poorly tuned guitar which it wasnt even before I tuned it and obviously I had no luck with that I then tuned it to the inapp tuner You guessed it it only got worse This app is completely useless for teaching guitar if the flow of smooth playing isnt there Now Im no Van Halen or Laurence Juber but I HAVE been playing for quite a while now and probably couldnt justify calling myself a beginner To that extent Id like to offer a word of encouragement to anyone having difficulty with this app Its not you its the appor the microphone Though i tried sticking a headset in my guitar and still didnt see an improvement with the headset mic Or Or Just try another app I know that things like developing an intuitiveresponsive and smooth app take time especially in music and maybe Im being a bit harsh but three dollars is a lot of money to see burn I will be kicking myself on this purchase until an updated is released addressing the continuity issue of music flow Strumming ten times to register one note is a bit cumbersome When you factor in that the same notes are repeated several times in the score and the fact that I paid hardearned money for this well hopefully you can understand my frustration Hoping to see a resolution to a rudimentary problem An unsatisfied and perturbed customer PS 2 stars is for the concept        Facepalm

After playing Guitar Hero for years I finally got my own guitar I spent a lot of time practicing but as you may know it is difficult to read a tab online and make it sound like the real song as a beginner This app helps deal with that problem It allows you to import any guitar pro song found at ultimate guitar and instantly listen to a recording of the song while the notes play across the screen One can slow down the song while you are learning and then play along with it Awesome app that I highly recommend to beginning guitarists                 What Ive always dreamed of for guitar

This app can be unforgiving when it comes to aligning a notechord to its chord reader tells the game if you played the note right which is probably my only complaint Other than that it is very very good app and it has taught me more than my guitar teacher has done the tabs are very accurate and there are a lot of extras like a tuner to make it worth your while 5 star game without a doubt                 guitar lessons 101

Thought this would be a cool app but all it does is crash on my iPad mini Im not even sure how this could be multiplayer There is no Game Center and I cant find anywhere to add a friend to play against The app asked for my contacts at start up but I declined so I could scope out the app first This app isnt ready for release     Crashes

This is the app Ive been waiting on The ability to learn great songs quickly is amazing Im a beginner that only has been able to strum a few songs After getting this app after about 30 mins I was able to play songs that others can finally recognize The only problem is that on some notes the strings that I hit sometimes does not register with the app Despite this I love this app and highly recommend it to all guitar lovers                 Great app

This is a great app that works like guitar hero for a real guitar It works fine through an iRig adapter and an electric guitar The key is to get the timing right so that you are strumming the right chordsnotes as they cross the bar at the left of the screen There are plenty of songs to load including Blackbird Dirty Deeds and Walk this Way One drawback is that some of the time slices are too small or repetitive You can play back what you played but there are no effects added to your guitar so it will sound very plain against the backing tracks unless you have your own external effects Overall its a good way to learn new songs              The Real Guitar Hero
