As others have mentioned there is a bit of a learning curve involved with this app The users manual is great and its helped me a lot every issue Ive encountered with not knowing how to do something is included in the manual This app is saving me loads of time in creating patterns for my etsy store Kirby Rae Designs and is so much fun to use Thanks for a great app                 LOVE this app

I am a firsttime chart designer and I use this app for cross stitch charts I find this app very easy to use and it has great capabilities I have only the following comments 1 I would like to see an update with the new DMC floss colors The current chart seems to be a couple of color releases behind 2 I would like an option to sort the color selection chart by number rather than the standard DMC floss cards order 3 It would be nice to be able to chart 2 half stitches in the same square Overall great app              Great app could use an update

I love it It took a little time playing with it to learn what I could do but I use it a lot now to graph images and letters for knitting and cross stitch                 It is a great tool

I use this app to create images that I use to crochet using single stitch or half double stitch Currently I made a small pixel image I am using as a draft for a granny square blanket Its an amazing app Just in case of a crash which I havent not had happen often I recommend saving every so often You can even import photos to turn into designs Its quite an amazing app and worth the purchase                 Awesome app for crocheters too

I love this app I have been using it for years and even bought a new iPad so I could keep using it I love that there is now vector drawing so I can do partial stitches and outlining although I would like it better if the half stitches were triangles rather than Ts I rated it 4 stars because there is not an option to sort the colors by number its a pain to have to search for the color by shade because of the crazy numbering system of DMC If you like designing cross stitch or anything else that requires a grid I would really recommend this app              Great App

With this terrific app you can not only create new charts from scratch but you can also import images from your camera roll and create charts from those So you can create a chart from a photo of your favorite flower your pet a loved one from a favorite painting youve saved or anything else of which you have taken a photo or downloaded a pic from the Internet The user interface is easy to use and very intuitive Its the most complete app of its type that Ive seen Im an advanced level cross stitcher and also do traditional embroidery and blackwork You can use this app for those purposes too It is quite flexible I have not been able to find anything better yet                 Imports your images

Its a good app does what its told However the canvas is too small and its tricky to get a crisp picture with such a tiny area           Small

I have taken a combination of 4 pictures to create a cross stitch pattern and it is turning out beautifully I live working with this app              Love It

I use this program for designing cross stitch patterns It works well and I enjoy the portability of being able to design onthego with my iPad I have used similar software programs via computer prior to finding this app so I already had a general idea of how it should work The reference guide has good illustrations and is helpful I find that using a slimtipped stylus works best for me when designing because it gives me more visibility than just using my finger This app comes in handy when it is necessary to personalize a sampler with a name or when you want to make small modifications to an existing pattern If you are on the fence about trying it dont be For cross stitch design you will most certainly get your moneys worth                 Very nice iPad friendly Cross Stitch Design app

I bought the paid app for doing crochet graphs and it is nice to be able to import a picture and see it in a graph It is a little hard to figure out how to add just 2 or 3 colors and wish that part looked better when you have a picture that is only that many colors Overall a great app              Great app

This is an excellent app for me One minor issue is that the lines in the cross stitch functions are not useable for outlining or making fur or anything else Overall great app to use I really enjoy using it              Really great app

I know how to read charts I thought I knew how to design them This app makes me second guess that knowledge I wanted to use it primarily to create my own knitted charts but have not been able to do so since I purchased it Ive tried to import my own pictures which it does but I cannot resize the canvas and chart size to my specifications The online manual is not helpful Please improve your instructions and include a step by step tutorial to help the novice because this is not working for me and I categorize myself as an intermediate knitter           Disappointing Not so easy

I purchased this app because I make beaded loom bracelets this app allows me to make my own pattern or modify existing patterns I have found It took a little getting used to but I have found it really helpful The awesome part is I can createmodify a pattern wherever I am and I dont have to carry graph paper wme I also use delica seed beads so I have found the chart very helpful I would recommend this to any loom beader perler beader or crosstitcher                 Love this app

I absolutely adore this app I use the Pro version to create my charts for Fair Islestranded color work knitting and oh boy does it simplify chartmaking with all the great functions And so userfriendly I highly recommend this app                 Fantastic App

This app saves the aggravation I had designing with graph paper and pencil No more hours spent repositioning a complex design Need to move a portion of your design by few squares The answer is easy highlight cut paste Halfway through design and realize you need a bigger grid Altering your background is just as easy as entering numbers Many features that are suitable for whatever craft you prefer Choose your colors or symbols even choose your background Excellent zoom erase undo redo Also has a detailed reference manual accessible online which can be downloaded If you are into any art or craft which includes designing on a pixelated level this is perfect                 Pixelbased craft design at its best

StitchSketch is a perfect way to draw charts or pixel art On the iPad I could use a stylus which blew the computer out of the water immediately I imagine this format would work great for drawing icons and favicons too The app ui design is very much desktop computer inspired It works well for an app with such powerful functionality Nothing is dumbed down for mobile at all I was able to make a chart then save as to make multiple versions and then modify each version slightly I could export each version as an image to my photos app then swipe through them to compare Perfect                 A great way to draw knitting charts

I have only had the app for two days but so far so good I have been wanting to convert a few sayings into a cross stitch pattern to make as Christmas ornaments and its been able to support it              So far so good

Great for charting straight cross stitch designs However if you want to add backstitching it is difficult to do              Setab

Im really glad I bought this app I sell patterns on Etsy and had been using Pages but this app allows me to draw a pattern a lot quicker and it includes a color chart on the same page Its easy to use once you figure out the buttons There are other cross stitch apps out there but none that let you be creative and make your own pattern not just create patterns from uploaded images                 Great for making patterns

I purchased this app to make patterns of text but when I try to use the text tool the app crashes and sends me to the iPad home screen This Happens every single timeI am pretty disappointed Also the last color on the color selection will not highlight sometimes If the text feature worked properly I would give this app 45 stars but it doesnt so 25        Crashing

I really love this app I have made two patterns from it so far and it is great PROS I love being able to pick from DMC colors and have the chart ready Even if I want to change color after putting it into the pattern it makes it easy to swap the color out and have it reflected immediately You can upload a picture and have a pattern automated OR you can use the photo as tracing paper to design it yourself Ive done both ways successfully You can shape pattern to fill in areas rather than touching every box to color in a large area Its fairly simple to figure out but if not there are text tutorials on the website which is always nice when developers include that CONS It does not include back stitching Once it is printed you can use a pen to draw the lines But it would be so nice to include that Makes the pattern POP It would be great to also include half stitching Maybe I missed it though I did see two symbols that looked like them but the ability to actually include two colors in a stitch would be so helpful That would be the best update In all great money spent and well worth the few bucks              Its Almost Perfect

Use app for cross stitch and its good but have a little problem understanding how cell size countinch and thread per count from the chart information converts to my project The user manual doesnt explain it very well Im still having to guess what size fabric to use as the size on the chart does not translate to the size I end up needing Would give it 5 stars if that were clearer           How To Guide

I dont buy many apps I prefer to use free ones when I can find them When I came across this app I read the description and all the reviews and after a couple of weeks of contemplation decided that it was worth trying out I am so glad I did It was a little hard to figure out the first time I used it but after fiddling with it for a bit I figured out the basic ins and outs of how to use it for what I needed I am now on my second cross stitch project that I designed with this app I can say with almost 99 certainty that I will most likely never buy another cross stitch kit again I love being able to import any photo I want to the app then tweak the design to my liking As I am working my pattern to fabric I add one extra color thread Ive used red or pink to distinguish from the other stitches to my pattern as a marker just so I know what stitches Ive already worked So far Im extremely happy with this app and and I plan on using it much more in the future                 Love this app

This is a pretty good app for creating bead patterns These few changes would make it a five star GREAT app Order the delica list by number have a report option that lists of beads required along with the chart and key add a crop feature to easily size the design              Good App

I use this app most often for making knitting charts It has extensive stitch library customisable grid and overall graph size color vs symbols option cross stitch beading or knitting chart option import JPEG export PDF Mail ability to add multiples of a stitch to chart with swipe etc One wish list item would be ability to darken graph grid and symbols                 Most used knitting chart app

Im a serious Perler Bead crafter so I purchased this to ONLY use it for Perler Beads The preprogrammed color chart specified as Perler Bead is way off The colors are wrong so while I purchased this mostly for a preprogrammed palette of Perler Bead colors I cant use that feature Since I cant access the help manual I cant figure out if Im able to make a custom palette thats always available without having to enter each color in manually for each project by searching through the DMC Floss color chart Howe           Ok App Not Easy to Figure Out

Ive been wanting something like this for a very long time This is the best one that Ive found I have the paid version and it was worth every penny The best part is being able to zoom in and zoom out of the pattern Changing colors is really easy The user manual says that you cant change the canvas size but you can It just hasnt been updated since that feature was added Great product Highly recommend                 GREAT app

This app is fantastic Im using it currently for a beading loom bracelet pattern Its been great even on my iPhone 5s although I wish that I had a bigger iPad screen My main suggestion would be some expansion of the user guide I had to experiment figure out lots of the particulars Keep the updates improvements coming                 Awesome

I downloaded the trial version and had so much fun with it making a chart for a minecraft character to knit up a carrying pouch for my daughters cell phone After that I decided to buy the app I dont even know what the paid version adds but I already love it Best app ever                 Fantastic app

I had been using a combination of Adobe Illustrator and photoshop to make my cross stitch patterns but this has absolutely changed the game At first glance I was taken aback by the price in comparison to apps in general on the iTunes Store but it is 100 worth it If youre looking for a solid app to help design your patterns I cannot recommend this highly enough                 Great interface superb ease of use

Love this app for designing cross stitch patterns Used the LE version successfully for over a year but needed backstitchingoutline capability Tried using Ursa Softwares Cross Stitch to Go and the interface was so difficult to use Much happier with this A few helpful features to add stampable single pixellength vertical and horizontal backstitch would be highly useful for designing alphabets ability to fill two halves 12 of a pixel diagonally with color similar to a 34 stitch and 14 stitch making a full cross But in a way thats easier to visualize the final image and shows more clearly in symbol mode on the black and white PDF                 Fairly intuitive easy to manipulate

but very good at what it does It would be nice if it added the Paternayan palette The 250 stitch limit is too small Id rate this 5 if it could handle larger pieces              Room for improvement

Ive tried nearly every app out there paid and free looking for a good app for cross stitch design This app has it allsetting frame size and selecting aida fabric type a library of different floss colors from multiple brands easy copy paste easy line and shape drawing the works Absolutely recommend for cross stitchers peelers etc                 Absolutely best app for cross stitch

I must confess I purchased the app some time ago but did not see the benefit After honing my knitting skills I FOUND THE BENEFIT I think Im in love Ok a little overboard but thats just me           Worth the wait

Love it Wish it could add written instructions but its the best app Ive found so far It took a while of playing with it to figure out exactly how it works and I still find new things I dont think there have been updates or improvements since I purchased              Great App
