Just got this first purchase Jesu Joy Its got guitar chord names written above the staff that have nothing to with the music Pretty dumb Fun to watch but for three bucks you could get the chords right        Review

I would like this app if the online store worked Otherwise the concept is nice It is an easy way to learn new songs        Online Store Down

would love to buy some of the in store apps except there is no store I like the layout and method but there is no depth           store does not work

I think this app is so stupid     Horrid

While playing through the music the app does not follow the repeat symbols Instead it plays the first ending and then immediately the second ending Additionally when trying to search for a piece of music in the store the app only replied with no songs found This was true even when I was looking at the song in the store           Missing functionality

The application is great at what it attempts to do I shows you the sheet music and the keys played however the played audio is of the quality of an old fashioned mechanical player piano As a result the audio sounds fairly stiff and mechanical Overall Good for what it is intended to do              Decent but

Why have a piano learning app that I cant use my keyboard with I might have to make my own so disappointed     useless no midi support

This is not really a piano to play on there are other softwares for that If you already have a real keyboard or piano and want to learn some classical pieces this is a really good tool It highlights the notes on the notation and shows which keys on the piano belong to the notes being highlighted Dont expect it to be easy to learn This just helps increase your speed of reading What I would like is to get a few more free pieces Also some different generes add some rock and pop I was not able to get to the store I hope this is still being maintained I would be a shame to see this software die              Pretty good to learn piano from

It has good features to work and play with On the other hand store library is still limited and doesnt have a more complete list of classical music sheet songs from authors like Ludwig van Bethoven I like this apps but it could be better if I have could be able to search by author or composer Perhaps these features are available in this app but I couldnt find them           Its good but still needs improvements

If your trying to learn piano and arent the best at reading music this is the app to get awesome app Tons of features to get the most out of learning Awesome                 Truly amazing app

Has potential but for some reason the keyboard is not working with the current version So there is no way to use the search function I will change my review once that issue gets resolved        Needs work

Great concept Many problems with app 1 search box locks up no keyboard displayed only option is to paste 2 scrubbing of notes unreliable 3 many many mistakes in scores FYI 1st Movt of Moonlight Sonata is not in the key of D Thanks for charging me 299 for a score that is totally unusable 4 app does not reliably read scores even the ones that are correct 5 some keys do not highlight even though notes appear on score and are played I expect more from the 1 piano brand in the world Keep working on this app        Needs more work

Its not bad but could be better Music could be cheaper3 a pop is a bit much for me for simple arrangements The animation on the piano could make key presses more distinct Also playback is highlighted by the bar and not the beat A good start           Decent

the app is very good but i downloaded it for one song and i cant find it the song name is to zanarcand and i reqested it from about a month           good

Sheet music is priced reasonably 299 compared to buying it in a store they would sell more if it was less Im sure But the biggest down fall I have found is that it does not have a metronome to play along with I would think that an app like this should have a metronome that would follow the sheet music If you had the option to turn the bad piano sound onoff and play with a nome that would be better           It is ok

This is a great app but it really needs CoreMidi support for output to standard GM general midi synths and digital pianos like the Yamaha Clavinova CVP or others Also why cant I change the instrument sounds for each track Check out Yamahas NoteStar app Its better than this one but doesnt include the piano roll feature this one has              Great but needs CoreMidi Output

The store does not work and even if it did keyboard does not show up on search bar That said if it was fixed this is exactly what Im looking for It has sheet music and even plays the music to get a feeling for what the piece is to sound like     Not working

I use this app more than any other and I love it but I just went to go browse the store and I keep getting an error message on every page in the store now and I cant browse or buy anything Tried hard resetting my iPad and it made no difference so Im wondering if this is happening to anyone else When I click on App Support it just takes me to the Steinway page and I see no links to contact the developers My world would be crushed if couldnt use this app anymore for whatever reasons or if I had to give up the songs I purchased                 Panic

Really helps to follow with the tempo Some suggestions Fix the sync issue of the sound and the highlight bar the timings uneven No midi is fine but then at least add an option to kill the sound so I can play from another app Piano roll is for a mechanical piano which 0 of musicians use today give a view standard to todays DAWs Software is not mature enough to charge so much per sheet           Great start

Ive been starting to teach myself piano for a while and then I found this app Absolutely amazing The idea is great 3 per song might be a little pricey but well worth it This is gonna speed my progress so much The UI is really nice I would as a side not like to add though that I use this on an iPad 3 the new one with the REALLY high resolution and the app is a little pixelated though thats not a problem Loving the piano lessons                 Great

I really liked this app for its great depth of each song despite the few song options Worse I cant recover any past purchases after having to reinstall my iPad software Help me figure out the issues étude and Ill go back to being a fan     Cant recover past purchases

This app is great however I do wish that it played trills turn arounds dynamic markings etc and there could be more music from other genres and artist from today as well and more pieces from classic composers not necessarily from the classical era and this is a tiny bug that needs to be fix when I go to the store my keyboard doesnt come up when I want to search it just shows the cursor and asks if I want to paste please fix that              Good app

I think that this is a wonderful app It really helps you learn pieces I love how you can change the speed and listen to each finger individually to really grasp the piece and How it sounds I have been playing piano for almost 7 years and it absolutely great although it could use a couple changes First I think that it would be great it there was a metronome with it Second I think that maybe being able to put in fingering for pieces would really help esp For the harder pieces that fingering is important Also it would really be great if you could have the device hear u playing and know when to turn the page rather than having to play with the music so that it will automatically turn pages Page turning has always been a problem for musicians of all kinds and if you were able to achieve this that would be wonderful           Good app but could use a little changes

Very misleading Nowhere in the description does it mention what devices its used for If I hadnt looked at the heading in my apps library I would have never known it was for iPads only Either they make a version for both devices or they should just take it down     Very disappointed

To get m other half stars I would like to PLAY the piano instead of just watching the piano like if you have a piano app and not anreal piano then you have to keep switching It would be 5 stars if I had an actual piano to play because then I would see no problem I love how half of the songs are free including songs from the Baroque era but I wish more popular songs like Stereo Hearts or Someone like you I was hoping to learn them of this but I had to learn them myselfs I post this for the benifit of others who dont have their own piano or want to learn a popular song that isnt on it I have requested some new popular songs and I hope that my requests and other hopefuls will enhance the great learning experience a piano has to offer Sorry it took me so long to get to the point but with spaces of freedom you get a little crazy But I love music and I hope an improved version of this app will mark the souls of the app buyers with The Sound of Music              and a half stars

1 You can only watch the keys move and listen or read the music It doesnt really help you learn that much Also in Für Elise it goes right over the repeats first endings and second endings 2 The Search feature doesnt have a keyboard You cannot type anything or search anything Huge problem           Its ok but needs improvement

I dont read music and play completely by ear This tool wouldve been invaluable The problem is that the chords are so scaled back it makes the song sound empty and without love The jazz songs progressions would get you laughed out of any self respecting club or studio The Gospel section is straight hymns thats are at least 100 years in age really Ill revisit using this app after improvements are made           As a African American Professional Musician Im impressed but was hoping for more

I cant access the store and one of the 2 free pieces has mysteriously disappeared This could be really awesome but I get the impression that Steinway has abandoned this app I cant even access the apps website If not for these issues I would give this app 5 stars but as it is I can only give 2        Store
