Start (Web to PDF + Browser)

Works well on my iPad Many interesting features for saving and sharing web pages Add Safari support and it will be simply awesome                 Works for me

Really its ridiculous how non intuitive it is        Why so hard to get to my saved pdfs

Love this app I use it ALL the time Its clever and easy to use with great features                 Best app ever

There is a great deal to like about this app Good interface easy to set up bookmarklet for Safari one can shunt over to Start to make a PDF of the page you are browsing Dropbox integration completes the easy workflow And the PDFs made are the real deal not just jpg screenshots like most of the apps in this category are delivering Kudos for this The only downside is that sometimes the PDFs generated Los their layouts and you get something that looks the web page looks like without its CSS stylesheets if you know what I mean by that So you get all the text of the page but page elements are all moved around and it looks pretty crummy usually If what you wanted was to try to just scavenge the text of a web page say to print it out and you did not care about what the resulting page looked like well that is about what you get here But how often are you PDFing a web page because you want to print that Right But having said that I dont see any app doing a better job at this So maybe they is some genuine iOS barrier to programming a true equivalent to your Macs printtoPDF function This app is doing it a good as any Ive found Things you could wish for CROP Function it would be very nice to get a chance to crop the content resulting from the conversion before it is paginated and committed to PDF              Best Ive found for this

In my opinion one of the greatest weaknesses of the iOS operating system is the lack of ability to save webpages and send them to other people with the exception of being able to email links When sending links its easy not to copy and paste the entire link or sometimes webpages that you link to get deleted or modified so the information you wanted someone else to see could be no longer there This is where the Start app comes in The browser allows the use of multi tabs and other basic browser functions It has various options to save or send the webpage These options include emailing the webpage link or send webpages PDF file from the main screen or sending the page as a screen capture You can also choose to make a PDF file of the webpage and save it within the app itself From the filing system of the app you can open the PDF file and read it you can email it right from the app you can open and save in services such as Dropbox Kendal and iBooks You can open in Adobe reader to add notes or highlight specific text In actual operation of the app its easy to use and operates smoothly It could be better by incorporating some of the features of the other apps such as adding notes highlighting text mass storage that you can give outside access to This would reduce the need to go back and forth between multiple apps                 Great app for handling webpages

Will be great once it has an Open in function so saved PDFs can be sent to other apps such as GoodReader I want to keep all my reference materials in one place not scattered among different apps Thanks           Needs anOpen in function to be useful

I purchased this app hoping it would solve my needs to convert websites to HTML unfortunately it does not handle websites with columns the text from the columns gets mixed in with the text from the main body of the page and becomes unreadable Alternately I tried using the 2nd mode of conversion which takes images unfortunately this method does not care where it breaks the page when capturing images and will split a sentence in half horizontally making it unreadable I am terribly disappointed and can not seem to find a way to get a refund Luckily I was however able to find a different app titled PDF Printer for iPad that works well for my needs START Please refund my purchase     Disappointed I want a refund

Finally Ive been waiting for an app that elegantly converts web pages to simple PDFs This perfect for reading pages later or for sending PDFs of articles to some of my clients I also got my dad using this app He loves to print out his investment statements every month but this is so much simpler Open page save to PDFboom done 4 stars Ill give it 5 stars when it has Dropbox integration please add              Web to PDF Businessmans dream

Im finding myself using this app more and more each day It creates PDFs extremely fast I use it so much I wish there was a way to make its built in browser my default browser on my iPad Now Im making a list of friends that are constantly asking me to create PDFs for them and Im gifting this app to them                 Fantastic App

I am a realtor and I find it very helpful to save all the houses I am touring in PDF formats I can send these to my clients and I dont have to worry if they can see them alright I used to just print them on paper but now I just carry my iPad and no more printing                 Everyone should get one

This is a super cool app I really miss the print to PDF function on the desktop Now I can do the same on the iPad with this app                 Just wonderful

Browsing the web with Start is very pleasant It uses the Twitter layout and I love it I am a great fan of Pocket Read It Later and Start allows me to save articles to Pocket easily All my PDF documents are synced with my Dropbox account and that means my wife and I can read the same articles                 Great Browsing Experience

I travel to many different places for my job I search on Google Maps and save all the directions to PDF I can pull them up later even when I do not have any Internet Connection                 Great for storing directions

I love this app it opens up Word documents from emails and I can convert them to PDF It works well if your Word doc is mainly text Dont work so well if there are lots of diagrams or graphics Its just a limitation of how the iPad handles Word documents                 Great
