Stand Here

I am extremely happy to see this app launched I have been using their website for some time now and used the App in the field last weekend The track a Trail option is great and being able to download a viewpoint to your backpack for offline usage is a wonderful idea They truly are thinking of everything And being able to track how much further down the trail you need to go is extremely helpful when you are in an area that is foreign to you Great job and I will be using this in the future                 Stand Here App Rocks

Trying to use as guest only shows the map for a moment then returns you to the login screen Restarting provides a user registration option but the service is broken Password reset says the server is down so try again later Hopefully the service behind the app will work some day     Unusable as guest cannot register

This is a terrific app that gives you everything you need to visit and photograph some of the most beautiful places in the country Has more helpful information than most guide books at a fraction if the cost And you get to stand in the same place that Rodney Lough did when he took his award winning photographs                 Great app for finding beautiful places

Ive used the Stand Here site in the past and have loved it This app took me to the next level and beyond I was amazed at how intuitive it was and easy to follow Even in areas with no service at all it worked beautifully and I could see my progress along the way Places I would never have been able to find were literally at my fingertips I loved the start and finish indicators and the feedback it provided The Track a Trail feature is terrific too precisely plotting my movement not only in the woods but along city streets as well It was like dropping electronic bread crumbs enabling me to find my way back to the starting point no matter how lost I thought I was As a photographer it is a gold mine The fact that Rodney Lough Jr would even share the location of one of his masterpieces let alone tell others how to get to it is amazing I also have used it simply to hike to a beautiful place Id otherwise not know about This is by far my favorite outdoor app                 Nothing like Stand Here anywhere

So far it just gives a server error and I cant load any trails So not that useful     Error
