I m been waiting on the new update with scripts for my iPad                     I m waiting Grooveriffic

I have been using this app for two productions so far For the second production Really Rosie I needed to move a French scene to Act 2 not good According to the app I simply needed to chose the blocking numbers to move them as a group it did move them to Act 2 but scrambled them throughout the Act Trying to restore it is nearly impossible Primarily because it automatically renumbers the blocking For example page 27 has 7 blocking cues currently they are scattered as 4 1 4 12 4 16 4 25 4 26 4 33 and 4 44 Normally they are numbered 4 1 thru 4 7 instead the blocking has been scattered throughout Act 2 very frustrating It seems the only way to fix this is to start from scratch on Act 2 a lot of work down the drain for this SM         Works great until Xinara

I ve been using this app for a little less than a year and now love it Used it on 3 shows so far Pros Clean looking charts that are easy to read Simple entry on most items easy to share with designers etc There is literally no other app like it Cons Price This is an 89 app max But I imagine the monopoly on the market is why the price is so high There is no tutorial video minus the minute and a half wordless video on the website They DESPERATELY need to have a detailed video handbook instructions SOMETHING You will spend the first few days just trying to figure out what it even does This is wasted time for me especially for 199                 Good app but needs instruction David FM

This a really great app for documenting a show The only thing I would suggest is something for stage managers It would be really great to be able to import the script as a PDF and use it in a synchronized way to note a point in the script and have it link to a specific chart That way you can do all the blocking and notation in a script and have the charts match up instead of having to make marks in a paper script or some other place outside of the app and then create a chart for it after the fact It would also be great to be able to rearrange set pieces so that you can move more frequently used items and imported created set items to the top of the list                 Good App Tkearney1986

I had high hopes for how this app would change my life but have yet to find a single use for it No option to draw a thrust Either I m completely blind and can t figure out how to navigate the setup or you are limited to working on a proscenium stage Neither is something I would expect for 200         High Hopes ange87888

Everyone who does any type of theatre or dance should have this app It is genius Great for dance teachers for recital organization too This is also a great teaching tool for any theatre student All technical theatre classes and choreography classes need this app It is an amazing way to teach the elements of directing a show New directors will follow all the steps needed to effectively direct a show and have their blocking done prior to rehearsal Accomplished directors will be happy to no longer have hundreds of pieces of paper floating around I am in love with it Lori Flanders                     Amazing App Lflanders

We just started tech rehearsal for Ghost The Musical on Broadway and this app couldn t have come at a better time I had completed a rehearsal version of the bible by hand and now we are at the point of setting everything on stage where of course things change Things changing usually means furiously erasing and re writing but not anymore I bought the app on release day and have already transferred most of my dance captain bible into the app and it s genius Once you take the time to set up the stage dimensions set pieces and cast icons the rest is a breeze This app makes editing creating new musical numbers and stage traffic so very easy It s user friendly organized and professional My new favorite app If you ve ever dance captained for Susan Stroman you d know how brilliant this app is                     Who doesn t LOVE organization JB III

I just purchased the Stage Write app earlier this week and in less than a half hour I was able navigate the entire app and created a pseudo show in just minutes I love the fact that there are pre made scenic options and that there is also the option to create your own scenic pieces as well It allows you to custom make your show for exactly the space that you have and does not confine you to any pre existing space requirements Stage Write allows you to make your charts as intricate or as simple as you want for your personal taste and what your show calls for It s clear and well thought out and will make any documentation of a show functional and user friendly I have been making my own stage charts with Power Point and this stream lines everything that I had been doing cutting down my documentation time at least in half if not more Stage Write will revolutionize documentation for shows as we know it and I can t wait to use it on my next project It should be a part of any choreographer director dance captain and stage managers arsenal of tools                     A must for all Theatre Practitioners Tyler Jacobson

I ve had this app for 3 days now and it has already changed my life The flexibility specificity and detail of the app is going to literally change the way arts professionals build run and maintain shows Everything is customizable and is very easy to use I am the Artistic Director of the touring show The Broadway Boys We are constantly adapting and tweaking the show swapping out singers and changing choreography So while I have already programmed in the show I now have an easy tool with which to continue to modify it I can also distribute the new staging and sequences to any of the new Boys as well as choreographers And even more importantly I can send these materials to theaters ahead of time to get a sense of what the show will be before I arrive I am so excited to continue to use this app I am certain that it will forever change the way artists interact with each other and the technicians that run their shows This is the arts app of the future                     Huge Game Changer Jesse Nager
