I have like 20 to 30 photo apps but this is by far the most amazing Just look at its Instagram to see how amazing are the images you can build A must have Just need better tutorial and an undo to be perfect                 Incomparable

This amazing application is so versatile and transformative I often forget I have 40 other artphotography apps Here are the facts after using Stackables for nearly 2 years now 1 100 Reliable and highly responsive 2 Endlessly easy to enhance create and save effects 3 Superior inapp effects 4 Extremely strong render machine that works with large image files 5 Updates are always true improvements and work immediately they thoroughly betatest 6 Software owner and team listen to consumer requests and fix issues and respond 7 Works well with other apps can take a Stackablesenhanced image into other apps without losing the quality of the image 8 The results created are professional level 9 Intuitive interface 10 Works on all qualityresolutionsize images now I do have a request for an interface change Put the effects panel trashcan and add signs on tapable layers like the effect and mask symbols with a query panel do you really want to delete pop up when hitting the trashcan symbol so there are no accidental deletes iPad I realize this review is without any negatives but I dont work for this software company Im just an avid Instagrammer and digital artist who uses the app daily I do know a beta tester so I know how much work goes into this high quality app This is my true experience using the app on both an iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2                 Essential Artistic App

Ok so I just got this app today admittedly but 3 times now Ive been working on a piece in the app had to leave for a few minutes or more and forgetting what I was doing went to another site or my device shut down just to come back to my piece and find it gone with the opening screen showing Come onwho doesnt have to get up occasionally when theyre working on a piece and the device shuts down This is not acceptablenot a deal breaker as far as Im concerned but not a great design Fix that really soon please Otherwise its a really great powerful and well laid out app A pleasure to use           Hello Why does it clear itself

I use quite a few apps to edit photos The one thing I steer away from is common formulas or apps that are clearly identifiable when someone posts on IG as Distressed Effects Snapseeds Grunge option etc They are great apps as well But this apps gives a lot of room to make a signature editing style Bravo Excellent companion to Snapseed Mextures Etc Buy it now                 Excellent editing app

But would be nicer if there was a way to contact the development team There appears to be no way to contact them              Nice app

There are tons of photo effects apps out there so Im a bit more critical than usual The interface could be easier to understand and it can be hard to remember later how you got a certain effect Many of the effects seem to undo the previous effects so the idea that youre piling effect on top of effect doesnt quite pan out Finally I wish there were a random button that you could tap that would apply a set of effects randomly        Limited but has potential

Loved this app until today when I cant get it to open since it just crashes Tried all the tricks like restarting the app the iPad and uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail Tried to look for support but none of the links provided here let you do that Big disappointment Hope theres a fix around the corner     Crashes

If you are looking for an app that allows to edit your photos by adding layers of color and texture then this is the one I would recommend The reason for my reccomendation is simple this app has a level of customization controls I have not seen in any other app of this type While this does add a layer of complexity to the process it is well worth the effort as it allows you to implement this style of photo editing without the usual cookie cutter look of apps with only premade presets That said there are two sets of fully editable presets that can be added to your photos with a single tap However if you feel like going that one step further to make something unique these editable presets can be a great stepping stone to dissect and see how things work Plus since evertything that you do is fairly easily reversible experimentation is fully encouraged For those of you more detail oriented heres a bit more on the customization controls Each layer has controls over opacity saturation androtation Each layer also has layer modes similar to those found in Photoshop that control what aspect of the image the layer is applied to For tjose not familiar with this a layer set to Saturation mode would only effect the color saturation of the image Additionally each layer can have a mask applied to it allowing control over what areas of the image are affetced Granted the masks are premade no custom masks can be made however there are controls to adjust size opacity rotation and the ability to inver the mask Bottom line this is a great app for anyone looking to advance their skills with this style of editting                 Great layer style editing app

I use this app at least every other day Very versatile and has beautiful textures The ability to add layers and change layer opacity just naturally makes it a go to app Everyone needs this app                 Wonderful variety

I thought it would have something that the other special effect apps dont have It seems the same and they have some effects with locks on them I guess even in paying 199 you do not get access to everything     Disappointed

Update 83 Communication issue resolved Instagram issue resolved As it should be 5 stars Again all of Samers Apps are awesome Do not hesitate to download all of them Seriously Im a pretty harsh critic sometimes just ask Apple and do not often give out this kind of praise Old Review Excellent as are all of Samers apps Butnot liking being forced to Instagram to unlock features This is not how IAPs are supposed to work Or maybe its just me as I dont like or followanything No way to report issues or make contact either The apps are works of art The support Not so much                 Excellent but

Truly is the most comprehensive photo editing app available The more you use it the more you discover what it can do The only limits are your imagination                 Best of the Best

Ok so not a bad app Just not giving me any option to edit beyond adding layers they offer No brush to focus edit on a specific area That is a big issue in my view I also dont find it the most intuitive app You cant seem to undo an individual move without deleting the entire layer That I definitely dont like        299 and no real editing freedom

I really love this app I wont give a rundown of the features since theyre all listed in the description Ill just tell you what I like about it 16 bit tiff That wont matter if youre shooting in JPEG format but I shoot RAW RAW files give you a huge amount of detail information to work with By converting my pictures to JPEG I am reducing that info to a 6 bit file More bits means more detail more color more wow factor I wish all apps had the ability to save as a 16 bit file I sent some suggestions via email to the dev a few months ago He they are responsive and the return email said the suggestions were doable and will be taken under consideration Thats all I ask This devs earned my loyalty and I look forward to updates to this and other Samer Azzam apps and future new apps                 Creative with good options

Like everything so far but when I try the presets the app just hangs and it is impossible to get it to change to another preset Using an iPad 3 with everything else shut down Not happy that some things require an Instagram account Would rate higher if issues resolved Have tried it on my iPhone 5s and everything including large presets works great Would recommend people have an iPad Air or iPhone 5s to get full use out of this app If you are not interested in using someone elses presets then an iPad 3 will do the trick           App stalls

If you advertise that a single purchase opens all filters you shouldnt make me join Instagram to get a certain set Its misleading and less conducive to app loyalty Shouldnt joining the Instagram community be its own reward It feels like busy work I only say this because otherwise I actually enjoy this app a great deal Its flexible and intuitive Absolutely worth it              Please dont force me to join Instagram
