The idea is amazing For it to work though the app needs to stay free and needs some improvement First for people to use it it has to replicate the functionality of all of the give me directions to my parked car apps When you tap on the locate me icon it should locate the phone only It shouldnt assume the car is parked there Also there should be some kind of functionality to mark N S E or W which side of the street the car is parked on Im sure that once these improvements are made a lot more will become apparent and just as necessary But keep going with this development It is a great idea and can only get better        It is a wonderful idea but isnt there yet

I understand that this app is in beta so I wont talk about the polish it needs especially since most other reviews have already done this and you dont need to hear more of the same With that said I just dont see enough people going out of their way to use this app and since this app will only be usefull if many people us it it is pretty pointless Great idea I hope it can be pulled off but as of right now there is little to no people using this in my area so I cant even use it havent even used it once        Possible potential

For those that are stating SpotSwitchs location feature is off by a few blocks this is because the wireless coverage area may be weak The nice feature SpotSwitch offers to deal with any inaccuracies is to that you can press and drag the cars icon to move it to exact location you are parked Very nice Keep sharing spots and getting all your friends and family to use it The Starbucks reward card is nice                 SpotSwitch

This as potential it will work better if lots of people sign up to sue it              potential

Appears to have a three or four block offset This would be brilliant to sell to community organizations seeking tools to help residents make it available only to residents As it is some of us wait before moving ours cars until we find a local looking for a spot 5stars for idea 1for functionality        Freakin Brilliant Idea Wish it worked

According to this app my car is in the Hudson river If I touch the car icon it says to register on the Web site and restart the app I did that and got the same message the next time I used the app Also I cant type an address and bookmark it which is quite important On the Web site my car is sitting on top of a condo It says I can drag it to where it belongs but I cant as all that does is scroll the map Also the Web site shows my password in clear text on my account page I hope this app will improve but for now its unusable     Needs work

Im definitely not entering all this information into an app just so it can remind me where my car is Uninstalled     Why would it need my cell number

There arent any controls It just shows a map with a picture of a car Perhaps this is because I dont have a 3G connection only Wifi I live in Orange County NY     This App doesnt work for me

So many times Ive wished someone would help make parking more efficient Very easy to use and will be a powerful tool once the universe of users grow Five stars based on potential alone                 Ive been waiting for someone to make this app

I am lucky in that I am East Coast so I have the luxury of being near major metropolitan areas However this app should allow you to register then choose between at least two vehicles Sometimes my fiancé and I take my vehicle sometimes we take hers I would like to have both on file so I can pick Veh 1 or Veh 2 Something like that I think that should be possible           Genuinely great idea

The google map takes a while to upload which causes inconvenient delays when attempting to view a larger area for parking The delay may cost the user an open spot My range of view is about 3 blocks by three blocks and expansion is required for up here in Albany NY and I imagine would be useful in NYC I did check the google map app and that uploads in great time outside of SwitchSpot I also think that the apps Legend page should include some instructions on how to use the app not just a description of what the icons mean The greater you allow the app to stand on its own without requiring the user to visit a webpage the easier it is to engage with the app itself and will yield greater satisfaction amongst users As an example I had to await for an email from the developer before I knew I could drag the car icon to my cars exact location I considered deleting the app until I received the email All that said I think the idea behind the app will lead to greater ease in use as the app develops and rate it a four because the app while sparse in participation and functionality is well done and will hopefully spread in usage              Good and Will Hopefully Get Better

I have 2 iphone so i tested the app and it works The user info u input in the settings others could only see the make model and color of ur car So its Pretty safe to put in the info                 Excellent Idea

I cant wait for more NYC drivers to get on SpotSwitch Maybe Ill drive more and worry less about where to park in the city SpotSwitch works as promised You may need to spend 1 minute no more learning how to use it Perhaps while waiting for your buddy to leave                 Learn it Use it SpotSwitch Rocks

1 when you first run the app it tells you to quit and fill out make model in the user preferences settings on my phone think it should do this IN the app 2 Why do they need my email and cellphone 3 No spots available in LES of NYC 4 In NYC metro by the time I use this app to post my spot there will be a car honking at me to get out of the spot so they can park in it I do like the idea red car graphic and the logo Polish this baby up and I will give it a 2nd chance once it updated I could see this working in less congested areas once the app is simpler to use        needs work and critical mass

The app works It needs an installed base I live on W 99th street and have yet to see any available spots but I am using it Get your friends to start using it as well     Great concept now get all your friends to sign up and start using this

And has an annoying signup process     Crashes on startup

Im the ONLY car in Phoenix AZ 6th largest population in the US This would work wonders if people in my city would sign up Maybe its because I checked at 1130pm Maybe its because its a new app But it does me no good until ppl in my area sign up Its not the developers fault Ill revisit in a couple months to see if anything has changed           Great idea but

this app has my car parked 35 miles from where im at rite now which is home even after hitting refresh still no change as well idont know the zip codes of all the areas i go so what good is typing in address doing if zip is required what you want me to do stop in middle of the road and ask what the zip is here not a good app in this truck drivers opinion easier to ride and look for spots than spend time messing with this app also alot quicker     not where im at

Everytime I try to setup my account online I get a Server Error screen I had tried to join using browsers IE8 and Firefox 366     I cannot join
