I am a speech therapist and also a mom of a kiddo with sensory processing disorder Let me comment on how well it works with my little boy The first time he played he was so intrigued he repeated the book 4 times The narration and sounds are very soothing and the visuals are very captivating He is drawn to this app probably a combo of the sounds and visuals He knows his colors but he still loves to spot the dots in the different scenes he loves the one that looks like a flash light I think this app is great for the sensory kiddos out there to calm and sooth them take it on car rides or while in waiting rooms I have also used this app in speech therapy with language delayed kiddos and kiddos with sound errors especially my little ones that have final consonant deletion the phrase spot the dot has great targets for end sounds This app really encourages great language like where is it I see the red dot Its hiding This app has really encouraged verbalizations reactions I got alot of smiles and oooooo ahhhhhhs I also used it with some kiddos with Autism and I think it had the same affect on them as it did on my son with SPD Overall a beautiful app that is great for a variety of kiddos Let me say I will use this app with my little nephew almost 2 to learn his colors as well Thanks Ruckus for a wonderful and useful app I will be adding you to my app list for SLPs                     Educational and calming amorenew

My son Quinn has continued to play this game every day The easier levels hook him and as the difficulty increases so does his intensity to spot the dot Great preschool app                     Fun and engaging Desertdealsdiva
As the mother of two preschoolers who thoroughly enjoy the other Ruckus Media Group Apps and David Carter s books I was excited to give this app a try I downloaded it and handed the iPad off to my 5 year old without any instruction Because it is narrated he was able to complete all the levels without any input from me He knows his shapes and colors but he enjoyed the challenge of trying to find the dot especially on the more challenging levels and it was nice for me to be able to give him an app that forced him to listen to the instructions then apply it to the task Though it would be great to see even more challenging levels in the future It is the perfect app for my 3 year old She needs an adult or her brother at her side to complete some of harder levels but after some initial guidance from me she was able to solve the easier levels on her own It is great for reinforcing her colors and ability to follow instructions The variety of shapes and colors make this a great learning tool for me and my kids think it is a lot of fun so I can definitely see us playing this frequently                     Educational Colorful and Addicting App for Preschoolers murphyww
I got this app for my daughter and she is 3 1 2 She can easily do all of the different dot spotting games but she enjoys playing them over and over She picked up the game right away I had played it once all the way through to see how it was I was impressed by the colors and the different ways that there were to spot the dots The game is simple but it keeps a young child s interest and captivates it My daughter now comes to me when she gets to teh white dot and asks me to help I never find it for her but simply move things around till the dot is on the page She finds it herself The one thing I would suggest would be to have a reset button so that instead of leaving and coming back in to try a different setup that the user simply hit reset and start over Other than that it is a great app for kids                     Keeps Em Entertained BenSpark
This app has been a lot of fun for everyone in our family parents 8 year old and even our 3 year old It is a well designed and simple to understand My 8 year old likes to race and see how quickly he can find the dots while the 3 year old takes his time to explore the entire screen It s unusual that both of my kids can find a different way to enjoy the same app so that s a definite plus for me I also appreciate that the dots change their locations each time you close the app so it s always a new game when you open it Well done                     I found the dot Megan Montgomery
Spot the Dot is a visually appealing app that will awe children of all ages There is a lesson embedded into each puzzle which progressively becomes more difficult They may become difficult for a toddler or preschooler to solve alone but with time repetition and parental guidance the youngster will be able to enjoy the app thoroughly as intended over and over                 Eye candy with teaching tools TheMadCatter
My 3 yr old did and she loved it been coming back to it now for the past few days and still enjoys it To me that s a winner anytime you can get a child to come back again and again to an app It s well done and well designed yet simple and engaging                     Can you find the dot Booknoir
My 4 year old really likes this game If the developer could fix the problem with the sounds in an update that would let me rate it higher some sounds are linked to the main system audio control and some are linked to the toggle switch specifically the good job at the end of the levels             Great for 4 year old Jim and Beth
