Manage your lists of groceries, gifts, to do s, wines, music, movies, and more. Track prices and locations. Easily manage, backup, and sync lists to your PC or Mac. Are you highly organized? Or maybe ...
I didnt like any of the other grocery shopping lists and saw this in an app review It has everything built in No more separate apps for travel shopping etcccc Worth the 500                 What a great tool
This program kept crashing after I started deleted items from the prefilled in forms Also didnt like that it didnt have a date wheel for the todos I really like to see the day of the week and date when setting due dates and this was not a prebuilt in category Wish I had known this prior to paying the 499 I will wait for Taskly to come out with an iPad version     Kept crashing
If you already have the iPhone version dont waste your money There are no real enhancements in the iPad version You can get the same effect by doubling the iPhone version on your iPad This should be a plus upgrade not a whole new app I am feeling very ripped off by a developer that has done next to no real development on this app in nearly a year I was hoping the iPad version would represent some serious improvements but I was wrong SplashData do some real development on this app and I will rewrite my review     Total waste of 5 bucks
I am an experienced user of SplashData products This version for the ipad stinks It does not sync correctly with the desktop app regardless of the setting ie desktop overwrites handheld OR handheld overwrites desktop The iphone application syncs properly so why doesnt the ipad application do the same If it cant even sync properly it really doesnt meet the basic requirement for a released application Duh There are other limitations as well such as font size is fixed no size option so display on the ipad is cramped and limited The user interface is badly designed it wastes a lot of screen space that could be put to use displaying entries even with the fixed font size but because no real thought was put into this app it means that entries are truncated What is the point of developing an application for the larger screen size of the ipad and then not using it to display entered information This release for the ipad is new but the mobile app for iphone and the desktop application are not new No excuse for this sorry release period     Worthless
Ive been a loyal SplashShopper user since 1997 with its Palm version Finally had to give up on this and the iPhone version because they became too buggy and crashed constantly The iOS versions were not very userfriendly to begin with When they finally updated the iPhone version after 3 years it did not sync No cloud functionality The company obviously knew its moneymaker was SplashID and gave up on this software long ago Grocery Gadgets has greatly improved and is now my choice for shopping        Finally giving up also
SplashShopper was by far my favorite workhorse app on PalmOS but was just AWFUL on my BlackBerry It really needs a touchscreen device and the iPad looks like the perfect match Ive been eagerly awaiting this release                 Well worth the wait
This app hasnt been updated in years They took my money and only left a buggy program Likewise I paid money for various upgrades and purchases for another app SplashID only to get locked out of the app unless I upgrade again to a subscription model This company doesnt deserve your money     Abandoned by Splash Many problems
I cannot live without an Organizer SplashShopper is the best I found so far Its amazingly fast on the iPad I use it with my BB as well I can transfer my lists from and to the device with ease The desktop version works great as wellHowever I love the view on the iPad simply loving it my iPad and oh SplashShopper too smiles                 Love SplashShopper
I just discovered Chriss review as I went to post this Discovered that you have separate databases for iPhone and iPad Really I use the iPhone version when shopping but like to add things on the iPad as well Customer service confirms that you cant sync between both it creates a user for each Im not as generous as he with the rating I find it astounding and am a little hacked that I spent the money for this with no warning in the description Like burning a 5 bill     Its either iPhone OR iPad not both
I love Splash shopper I had it on my palm for years I love my Ipad I love my ipod touch Love love love I even bought Splash shopper for both my ipad and ipod separate apps the one wont run on the other so if you want them on both you have to buy both apps apparently and then theres the desktop app which also costs a separate charge unless you are a palm or other type of previous user in which case you can contact the website and get a free registration number I ended up spending a total of 20 on Splash shopper apps not that I minded I love Splash shopper And then I got to playing with my lists Fun fun fun the desktop app is fun and cool and neat and improved with multiple prices to go with the multiple stores in the items lists But it turns out the list I just spent all that time creating exists only on my ipad user and my ipod has a separate user Upon investigating the FAQ on the website no it isnt possible to synch both your devices to the same user So if you and your partner both have iphones you cant both sync to your desktop not to the same list If you like to work on your ipad and then take the list on the ipod to the store you can export a file from your one device and import it to your other device which in my opinion is a pain a bit too much nuts and bolts and I think they should fix this The improvements and the just plan goodness of splash shopper earn this app a three star from me If they had this multi device sync thing fixed Id be giving them a 5 star rating           Your ipad and ipod can not sync to the same list even if they both have splash shopper on them
Not only useful for typical shoppingit gets lots of use for packing lists for business travel annual vacation or expedition trips and holiday meal provision needs No need to sit and make out a paper list every year wondering whether youve remembered every little critical thing I couldnt do without it                 Remembers all my lists foreva Desktop sync is very useful as well
This is app is a total waste of money I have used Splash Shopper for my i Pod and my Mac desk top for some time and give both apps a 5 rating However the app for i Pad is useless I have all my lists set to my liking on the desk top versionThe deal top version syncs perfectly with my i Pod However when I tried to sync the desk top to the i Pad the i Pad always over rode the desk top even though I had it set for the desk top to over ride the I Pad Second the home screen does not show all the lists but rather just one list I have to go back to edit every time I want to use a different list That is not at all user friendly As I stated before the apps for the desktop window or mac and the app for either i Pod or windows mobile devices are the very best It is just the app for i Pad the totally fails     Splash Shopper for i Pad
I have used SplashShopper for YEARS long before it was available on IOS Ive tried other list apps but nothing has the features of SplashShopper It is the only list app to use I use it regularly for grocery shopping travel holiday gift giving etc etc The only problem Im having with it now is that it is constantly freezing up I have to close the ole app sometimes multiple times each time I use it now As soon as that is fixed I will change my rating to 5 stars           Only list app to use but current version keeps freezing
I recently bought an iPad and after paying for the iPad version of Splashshopper I already had the iPhone version I found there is no way to make the iPhone and iPad sync with the same data Kinda of short sighted in my opinion Now I have to manually overwrite database over database depending on which one was the last one I changed Poor poor poor Granted i really like using the iPad version as Im planning for a big trip but              Should have database sync capability between different users
At least twice this week I had told friends and coworkers that the only thing missing from my new iPad was the grocery list app that came installed on my Palm device I was thrilled to discover it newly released in the App Store mere days later and purchased it immediately I have relied on this app for grocery and travel checklists for so many years it is painful to do them without it The features that make this app 1 in my book are the fact that its designed to create reusable checklists unlike many todo apps its preloaded with lots of useful lists and items on shopping lists can be associated with more than one store it makes for very efficient multistore trips The ability to categorize list items is extremely useful as well I love this app and I love that I can have it on my iPad If you are looking for a powerful shoppingoriented checklist app thats flexible enough to be used in other contexts where a checklist comes in handy SplashShopper is your app                 It
Im one of the many people who used to use Splash products back in the Palm OS days But iOS is not Palm OSand iOS devices are not Palm OS devices Weve evolved so much but this app and apparently the Splash peoples approach to development AND customer service have NOT If you go to their Web site for info on the concern that many raise regarding syncing a single database across multiple iOS devices like both our iPhones and my iPad as well as a Mac desktop which isnt really all that necessary for most of usthink MyNetDiary you see rather lukewarm short responses about using their desktop and some stuff about using their VSH files and exporting and importing through the Mac desktop versionas if that would be satisfying even if it worked But it really doesnt work anywayif you have multiple shopping lists you run into issues with the desktops file selection from the available files not liking the alphabetizing that your file names use And then ultimately when theyre pushed by people saying Your file exportimport solution isnt what Im talking about and doesnt work for my situation you see them responding simply by saying The software wasnt designed to work that way Im not opposed to paying more than a buck for an app I am a very proud and satisfied user of OmniFocus and paid for it on ALL my devices80 for my Mac and another 20 for my iPhone and another 40 for my iPad And I STILL tell people its some of the best software money Ive spent This situation has resulted in me writing my first letter of complaint to Apple about the lack of accountability in the iTunes app store for sellers of lemon apps and having no way to get a refund Im hoping when they see my complaint and keep in mind how much money I spend on apps and media through iTunes that at least there will one grain of sand added to the customer satisfaction side of the scale     Unconscionable
I have this on a variety of devices Its always reliable and flexible to my list making needs I cannot reproduce either of the issues mentioned by the other reviewers handheld overwrites desktop sync and desktop overwrites handheld sync both work fine The only thing I might suggest is they check that the correct iPad user is selected in the SplashShopper desktop user menu As for only displaying one list at a time thats how it works In portrait mode tap the list button in the top left to switch lists and in landscape you can see the list of lists on the left It works a lot like the Mail application                 Works great for me
Have the desktop app plus the palm app for years I love the iPad version even more Works great My iPad goes everywhere with me including the grocery store To the person complaining about no date this is not a to do list This is a shopping list or packing list or a thousand other kinds of lists Except for To Do You mark what you need then once it is checked off it goes back to the main list to be available later                 Great App
I have used the Palm version of Splash Shopper for the last 6 years and it is a great app that is flawless The iPad version has problems that Im sure can be easily fixed but Splash Data needs to get it done A really frustrating bug is when I try to highlight a field to enter data it becomes unselected as soon as I release my finger This does not happen every time but when it does it is impossible to enter data And if you cant enter data in a data base well that a real problem Ive had the app for about a month and so far no update           Needs Work
I have been using Splash Shopper somewhat successfully on desktop for a few years and mostly unsuccessfully on my iPhone and recently iPad I am a prior HandyShopper user on a Palm device and I really miss that application Desktop for the most part I am happy with the desktop version However the program does freeze up and crash and I am unable to reopen without a reboot A recent problem has been the desktop version crashing when I try to import and exported list while performing full uninstallreinstalls trying to resolve the multiple issues In addition my latest uninstallreinstall removed the ability to mark needed items in two of my lists the checkboxes disappeared iPhone app this has never worked properly and I have gone around and around with support The problems include losing items when syncing items being added back to lists when syncing even if I choose to override the sync with the most updated device inability to sync and most recently the stores and categories drop downs have no entries on my iPhone even though they are populated on my desktop iPad app I decided despite all the problems to try the iPad app Similar problems as above store and category drop downs arent populated I also dont like the inability to easily sync my laptop iPhone and iPad Syncing all 3 requires backing up current lists and importing under a different user Time consuming and confusing General feedback I would prefer the date function be calendar based rather than list based This requires creating a new date entry each time a new date is used It also requires cleaning out the date list once in awhile since it keeps getting added too I would also prefer the store selection list was a list of stores with checkboxes not drop down lists The only reason I gave it one star is I do like the desktop app and the ability to pick multiple stores and filter by stores and categories However I purchased this as a mobile app which it does not function successfully At this point I am done with the iPhone and iPad versions since I have been trying to get these issues resolved with support for almost two years I am keeping the desktop app since all of my lists are on there and it functions well However for portable lists groceries shopping etc I have switched over to Grocery Gadget I have found it easy to use the web portal is handy and all of my devices sync immediately without any problems     Finally giving up
You will not be able to sync your iPad list with the iPhone or iPod list You have to do an export import each time This isnt very good programming This is noted in the app forum But please note a separate user for the iPad will be created on the SplashShopper iPhone Desktop It will not sync data between iPhone desktop and iPad        Will not sync with iPhone or iPod
This is one of my favorite apps and I am delighted it has been enhanced for the iPad Thanks SplashData Great job Great app                 Wonderful SplashShopper for my iPad
I have deleted this from both my ipad air and my apps several times I redownloaded it several times and it still will not work Im very unhappy with this app     Will not work with ipad air
This app is totally NOT an easytouse or intuitive app Shoptildrop and makealist are second nature to everyone This app is NOT I can dash out a list on a scrap of envelope or brown paper bag quicker than I can use this app Its like wrestling with an angel Im not letting go of his feet until I get some kind of blessing Developers should provide key User Guide help as popups for new users The User Guide font size is extremely small If you finger stretch it to a larger size then you are faced with having to move right left to see an entire line of text Finally resorted to copypaste to Notes to get my arms around just the meat of what I needed FYI the User Guide More User Guide needs to be reviewed and edited because not everything about the app looks or performs as described in the Guide EX The guide says Go to More QuickLists and select the QuickList name from the QuickList menu But the Quick Lists icon is displayed as a tool on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen Use same text entry functionality with search as with any other text entry box If I enter a specific product and later need to add it as a product I dont want to have to go back and add caps They should already be there On grocery list default view should always return the the All List view on left By experimenting with Preferences and Cart view I thought I had obliterated all the items They were not displaying If I do any editing of an item the app automatically assumes it is an item I currently need and flags it as such That decision should be left to me If I apply filters to my grocery list I can never find my way back to the All display Access points disappear If I close then reopen the app I can then find my way back to the All list If I forget and accidentally leave a search term in the search box from my last search I cant see the All list by clicking the All list button at the bottom Clicking that button should automatically clear the last search and return me to the entire list When trying to email an export file More Export the app crashed was not drawing from my contacts list to populate the To and From data and repeatedly displayed the following error message in spite of the fact i was connected to my wifi Mail send errormake sure your device is connected to the Internet After giving up I later found the exported file in my Inbox Quirky When I used the email icon I had no trouble emailing the list and that function did draw from my contacts list When I click on More the Edit button is greyednot accessible So I have no dragdrop functionality to customize the toolbar You can only get at the Categories to edit them by proceeding as if you are adding a new item to your list OR by going into an existing item dialogue box choosing Category then Edit It would be helpful to be able to access Categories independent of a specific item Quick Lists are cumbersome to create edit However this seems to me to be one of the most powerful features of the app If you are doing any serious meal planning like a weeks meals at a time Quick Lists could really play a key role Developers please provide a way to create edit these lists without having to hop back n forth between the All view and Quick List view The process should be much more straight forward than that In a nutshell Im still not sure I feel my 499 investment was worth it To be fair I will keep plugging away at it but Im not at all comfortable giving it more than 2 stars If future updates address some of the issues Ive raised in this review I would be willing to update the star ranking Ive left        Definitely not intuitive but
I bought the version for my iPad and it is worthless The version I downloaded for free on my iPhone is awesome I thought the two versions would sync But no No sync makes it worthless on my iPad     Not worth it
Im a very demanding individual when it comes to purchasing apps I require an app at least does what it advertises very well if i am to consider it both worth the money and worth the trouble of learning to use it Therefore when I was looking for a list app I wanted something worthwhile in both respects I had my doubts about SplashShopper especially since it sounded to me as if it was useful for making lists for one thing take a guess My immediate need was for a travelpacking list However after taking just a few minutes to get to know the app I was pleasantly surprised As it turns out the app is extremely useful for making all types of lists Its extremely easy to use very intuitive and very fast I have several other list apps all for use on the iPhone None of them are as complete or as useful as this app My advice if you need a list app is BUY IT You wont regret it My one recommendation is they change the name to something more descriptive of its true nature                 Im demanding and this is excellent
Get this it is very good                 Finally
I have used Splashshopper since the Palm days and it is essential Great to have it on my iPad but one thing is neededcoupons              Nice but one thing needed
