At school we do this all the time it s bogus it s boring hard EASY and when you get something wrong on a game the people are like OOOOOHHHHH like are you trying to make us fell bad and don t even get me started on the girls voices Terrible christmas2323

I absolutely love this app for loading students spelling words I homeschool and previously made all the flash cards as lesson prep and it took forever looking up the definitions making it appropriate for a 1st grader and making an accompanying picture which would be my suggestion to the developer in addition to pulling the definitions a great extra would be also including a picture clip art image for the words it s really helpful to visual learners I really can t complement this product enough I can each students progress and focus on trouble words The kids are all getting A s on exams because of the reinforcement in a fun format Worth noting I ve noticed older iPads seem to have glitches with splat and spell Highly recommend for anyone with weekly spelling lists Lifesaver missannapolis

This app is totally different from the site Im a student trying to put my words in but I cant unless I become a premium member Which I assume costs money On the site you can put your words in without becoming a member but this you cant Maybe Im just missing something I doubt it though Very disappointed

I have and IPhone 5S still I love the game Anyway in the unscramble words game the letters are really hard to select They are smaller than the iPhone keyboard even and I have to hit it about 4 times to get the right letter Not a typical struggle because I dont have fat thumbs Needs some small improvements

For my app I chose Spelling City I really liked how this app was able to help you with spelling vocabulary and if you choose to upload your spelling words to the app it can help you remember how to spell them There is however one substantially large error that I would correct which is that whenever I Reyes to click on Test Me or Teach Me the app freezes and the only way to unfreeze the app is by closing it and then reopening it Other than that the app was very great Super user friendly and revealing to what it can do I would recommend this app to anyone that has trouble with spelling or just needs a confidence booster about their spelling Fulfilled me with much pleasure

I use to love this app This was my go to app for my kids to learn their spelling and vocabulary words It was the best out there I purchased the full version premium membership of the app Thats 30 wasted Because for the last couple on months most of the games on the app freeze and cant be used This is very frustrating I have multiple devices and it freezes on all of them I would advise anyone not to purchase this app until it is fixed Now Im force to use another app for spelling and vocabulary Disappointed

If you are going to offer a homophones list you need the ability to choose either word when you hear it during readaword Also during unscramble if two words have the same letters in a different order both should be correct the first time and the second you should get a message saying that you had already unscrambled that word Same sounds

The app that I am reviewing today is Spelling City This is a good middle school language arts app letting you play games and learn at the same time I personally think that this is a very good app and there was nothing that I didnt like about this app This app is a lot better than the app iTooch Middle School Math and Language Arts app This app you can just play learn and have fun while you have to download content on the other app and the downloads arent fast Very Good App

After the 12214 update this app wont work on 4s PLEASE FIX My children used this app weekly for their homework Useless app now

Dont have your kids waste their time on the games They are not going to learn their words using the games On the other hand the teach some testNteach and test me are exactly what you need for your child to learn independently The 1 feature is TestNTeachit calls out word they try the word then it immediately corrects them by spelling it out and adds that misspelled word to the end of test and continues to ask it until child spells it correctLy on their own Certain features are irreplaceable

Im giving you a four star review because 2 things A The games dont teach me anything Theyre pointless and frustrating B The test me choice DOES work great Im not great on vocabulary at all but this app has helped me so much with my spelling Personally I probably wouldnt be able to pass my spelling tests if it wasnt for this app I go to this app maybe 3 times a week before bed and study my words I do recommend this app for all students in need of help App Its okay I guess
