The biggest problem here as the Mom is that I entered hundreds of words by hand on my tiny work cell phone for my spelling bee champ to study for regionals When I went to put the app on his iPod I realized there was no way to log in and share lists So now it s rendered unusable Second biggest problem is not being able to simply upload word lists Third problem is that the diction is pretty terrible Easily mitigated by recording your own version of the word if you know how to pronounce it Other than that the functionality is great Can t share lists Jeina27

My 6 year old used this to learn about 500 words for his first grade spelling bee The app is very easy to set up and to use Because I could record the words myself I could do it in the spelling bee format so he could get used to it He won first place Thank you for making such an amazing app dbpiano

Love this app I can create list They have option to practice first by looking at the spelling and typing it as well as app calls the word Practice can be done as many times as you want Then kids can attempt the test in which app calls the word and kids will type the spelling Once all the questions for that list are done app will show if there are any wrong spelling App will show what was spelled by kid and what is the correct spelling so kid would exactly know what he or she did wrong Also you can email your percentage to someone after the test Best app to learn spelling for kids Zeezeezeezeezee

This is by far the best spelling app out there I wouldn t be surprised if it was created by a mom It has just about everything you need for you and your child to increase their spelling skills It keeps track of their time they can practice and test and even email the results You can see their scores what they ve missed what they practiced on and for how long what they tested on and how many times they did it s amazing Absolutely wonderful VisualGenius

Great app My only problem with the app is that it doesnt know some complicated words I went to the state spelling bee last year and Im in the spelling bee again this year Please add more words Also it would be helpful if there was an option to ignore spaces and punctuation This is the best app out of many that Ive tried I highly recommend it Best of many

This is a wonderful app You type in your words and then you are able to choose if you want to record yourself to say it or a voice will say the word You can take unlimited practice tests and it specifically reviews the words you miss until you get them right I highly recommend this app AWESOME

This app helped me a lot and was quicker than the ones that you have to manually say the word and see if it is alright Great time saver

I was looking for an app that would have sight words and other high frequency words by grade level and this one doesnt It a lot of work to make the spelling lists yourself Not great for young children

This is a great resource for us I input all her words every week and she can do a pretext and just practice the words she doesnt know After 4 days she is getting a 1920 words correct and she can study when she wants All I have to do is input how much repetition she has to do with the practice words its much simpler than sitting down and saying each word myselflove it Spelling

Hey I am nine years old I have straight As so I want you to know that this is the best there is AND FOR FREE Straight A student

Its nice that you can make as many word lists as you want and that theres a robot voice for each word if you dont want to record your own voice The user interface isnt beautiful but that doesnt interfere with how well the app functions Unlimited word lists crappy GUI

Great app real helpful as my situation my wife doesnt speak English and I work 2nd shift I cant help my little one but as soon as she gets her words on monday for her Friday spelling test I put them in her iPad and so far all her test are 100 perfect thanks to this wonderful app and shes been using it since she was 5 now shes 7 highly recommended Great app

Very helpful in helping me practice my spelling I dont need anyone to ask me the words I dont need to sit down and write the words out I simply put the 200 most commonly misspelled words into lists and may review them at anytime Very helpful

Love that this allows my daughter to practice spelling words on her own She can sit at the counter practicing while I make dinner I am happy that I can create the lists as she works above grade level and we often add more challenging words in addition to the class list for the week The ability to look at test history is a nice feature I like the use of a star to mark words correctly spelled I wish it was cumulative meaning if she was tested on that word three different times on three different days and got the word right every time it would show three stars we use a get it right three times and I will remove it from the list approach for our additional challenging words Great Spelling Test Prep

I have been using this for the past 3 years for my daughter and now we have increased to sharing it with her classmates to all study for their test because they enjoy this unique way to study as well as learning the keyboard Their school books will soon be on their tablets in 2 more years so it helps in several ways as well as the parents can see what the individual child is having problems with in spelling Parents and Teachers love it
