The fantasy veneer does a lot to make this a very entertaining words with friends game Very fun and very well done                 Excellent

I love the idea of this game and what I could play was fun but there seems to be a major issue with screen size My phone only shows a very small section of the games home screen and I cannot drag it around to make it visible The actual game board was moveable but the player pictures and hp bars took up almost the entire screen Neither of these issues seem to have any way of being addressed     Glitchy

Love this so cute and with great art Even runs on my iPad 1 Really enjoying this with my longdistance boyfriend the powers keep him from always winning lol                 Awesome

This game is very addicting and the characters make every game different Not your regular word game                 Different and addictive

The game is okay but you have to buy some of the characters and there is NO use for the currency they provide except for skills in the game which are mediocre anyways There is no scaling at all           Ok

It fun when you can find a match its my first day with the app but it takes almost an hour to find a match And like a previous comment said there needs to be an auto win timer for people who quit playing rounds           Could be awesome

I play a lot of scrabble games and I love them I liked this game till I started noticing some weird things Sometimes It doesnt count you extra words made and sometimes it does The way it counts them is random sometimes getting double or triple the points for no reason Also whatever randomized they use for the letter draw needs work Ive played 20 ish games and more than half of them have had four copies of the same letter two or three turns in Vowels are a you get all of them or none of them and while I normally caulk it up to random its happening way to frequently to be random Also why is there no pass I got a start with no vowel so I couldnt play any word I traded and still nothing and now my game is sitting there asking for a word You also cant drop games which is a problem when you have people that have obviously abandoned a game because they are losing and my new game that I will never be able to play All and all its a great idea but the current implementation is lacking in a very serious way     Neat idea poor implementation

Battle people with your words Its basically scrabble except instead of acquiring points you are trying to do as much damage to your opponent as possible with the point values of each letter Plus you get some interesting abilities to shake up games This is a fun little game to play with your friends and the random opponent mode works pretty well too                 Cool concept

I like this game but as a Words player it lacks some of the features Ive come to expect For example a Rematch button to play again a Recall button to reclaim tiles placed on the board A notification to tell me which word was not accepted Im hoping updates will come to improve the user experience The special board tiles offer a new level of play above and beyond the standard doubletriple letterword tiles Though I do with they stood out more Finally I hope the change the pricing model Id definitely plunk down five or six dollars to unlock everything however 6 for just heroes 1 dollar for each additional spell and then more for different tile sets seems on the greedy side for my taste The micro transactions for essence should be more than enough for recurring revenue You arent forced to buy any of these extra things but to experience the game to its fullest be prepared to spend at least a few dollars              This game is good almost great

Scrabble with spell casting I enjoy playing this with my husband I HATE the time forfeit I wish theyd get rid of this If I dont play 2 days it ends the game Also wish we had more free characters           Pretty good

I loved this game when it first came out It was everything I wanted in a word game mix in some strategy random elements unique player characters and powers and a fantasy theme It was like a Scrabble RPG if only Hasbro and EA had any creativity in them I got several friends into the game as well But then I started seeing all the problems Game Center integration is spotty at best I am constantly having to reconnect to GC and redo my moves Currently I cant play at all I even uninstalled and reinstalled it I lost ALL my 12000 accumulated mana but I could play But as soon as I restored my purchases it failed to connect to Game Center anymore There are many other issues faulty power implementation exploits and poor game balance These have been known for a LONG time I reported many of them myself However months later not a single one has been fixed I also bought the season pass of characters so far only a single new character has come out in 45 months All I can say is its a great idea but the game was released before it was ready and it hasnt gotten the level of support it needs As a result all of my friends have moved on and only my wife still plays with me And now I cant even play here thanks to the constant failure to connect to GC Ive spent at least 10 on this app rare for me and now it feels like thats gone down the drain Again great idea and looks great Unfortunately I cannot recommend this game unless theres a major release that fixes all of the connection problems bugs and exploits        Great concept sloppy execution and poor followthrough

Such a great idea on a classic word game I love the art and overall theme I would suggest more Heroes and maybe an ingame chat or some way of communicating with your opponents Although Im sure its already planned along with other great features I cant wait                 Fun and original

Would be a good game except that the moment you start winning opp will stop playing so they dont lose There needs to be a timer that forces the game after 24 hours or so        Auto Win if Opp Stops Playing

Whats not to like I hear the buxom girl on the cover was the game developers daughter who went to a Renaissance Faire one day And now only the silver jingling of her laughter can be heard when the moon is full Het the game just mysteriously busted me down from Level 18 to Level 1 Why Why              Like scrabble where you get to hit yr opponent

This doesnt compare to regular word games at all The score only counts for the main word so you cant score big by having 2 or 3 words connect The extra features of spells is interesting but the ones on the board happen so rarely and are so random that I dont even fully understand how they work The 3 character specific abilities give the game a bit of interest but the cool down between uses is so long that they cant be used enough to make the game that much different than a word game Also it is a bit buggy Ive played words for my turns only to find that they never were counted and I have one game that has ended yet it hasnt recognized that and keeps telling me its waiting for the other player The idea is interesting to combine a word game with a magic fighting game but right now its still too much of a basic word game           OK but needs improvement

This is a great game for scrabblewords with friends fans Adding the additional layer of skills makes this game have a unique twist to the typical word game genre                 Great twist on a classic

Interesting mechanic combine fantasy tropes with words with friends The spells and abilities are fun and I like the idea of HP as opposed to accruing points There is very little guidance though I had no idea what the spaces on the board did before just trying them all Okay game probably wont go very far though due to complexity Two gripes one the community is too small which means waiting forever for matches and opponents to move Two the monetization gets in the way Multiple times while looking at the skills of the purchasable characters I was prompted to connect to the store when trying to close the window That is unacceptable in my opinion Fix the size of that X           Interesting but flawed

Take the Words with Friends framework and add some fantasy elements random spell draws several characters with unique abilities and leveling your player as you win matches and you have a game that rectifies a couple of the problems that the aforementioned classic has WWF matches as with the game that it took its rule set from last too long for a satisfying pick up and play experience The damage system in this ensures matches dont drag on so long that youre desperately playing the dregs of what you have remaining from your tile draws The different abilities as well as the random spell squares on the board make each match unique and occasionally surprising Another annoyance of WWF and Scrabble there Ive used the Voldemort of word game names is that it rewards playing short words on point increasing squares rather than wellcrafted vocabulary using as many of your tiles as possible While this issue is still present its offset somewhat by a critical hit system that gives you a greater chance of success the longer your word is Theres certainly room for improvement and an increased feeling of personalization or investment in your player character its a definite mustplay for those who left WWF behind after one too many formulaic matches                 Classic word game with a fantasy twist

Gosh this game is gorgeous both visually and musically The sound effects are also spot on Philosophically I dont love the use of the same currency across games with realworld opponents If I win or lose I know my skill was a factor but so was how much currency either of us decided to spend It makes the results less satisfying for me personally Imagine playing oneonone basketball where sometimes you or your opponent can spend bottle caps to lower the hoop when they have the ball It would make the results mean less           Beautiful but games Feel Empty

I am not a huge word game guy but this is simply awesome Come and play                 Best game of its kind

This is the most enjoyable Words with Friends type of game Ive ever played With a little refinement this game would be absolutely perfect It only needs a few bug fixes some which are exploitable the devs are working on it and a little bit of expansion on the dictionary every once in a while it rejects a real word yes I verify the spelling each time this happens Other than that this is one amazing game Love it                 Great

This is probably the best word game I have ever played But it could still use a couple of small improvements to add to the experience 1 Show the complete total of points you could get if you play a certain word Right now it only shows your potential points for the main word you built not any side words you may have built off from 2 Stats Total games wonlost best words level etc Adding at least those features would make a really fun game even better                 Great game but still needs a couple features
