Visualize in real-time the frequencies that you can hear around you and even those you cannot. The SpectrumView analyser provides a high quality real-time spectrogram and spectrum analyser display with configurable sample rate and frequency ...
This app comes up in the iTunes search for ultrasonic It does not detect sounds above 12000 Hz or does not display them The app nor iTunes Offers any suggests or discusses this at least in the mobile iTunes             No ultrasonic feature Admiral Mars
If only you could have tested your app first or checked the OS prior to upgrading or allow users who can t change their older crAPPLE OS to back out I expect this from PBS but not from the authors of a spectrogram app Really     Your heads up NOT to install came Too LATE sans sound
Awesome app                     Awesome app fun
To get maximum viewing resolution especially between 500hz and lower goto Settings SampleRate 8000 FFT 9 Frame Avg 24 Hold iPh vertical portrait aspect Very useful to cure ringing in gained up talking heads 5stars from me                     Indispensible AudibellWT
Freezes after was put in the background And the log scale of course is a must                 Could be great NickNackNook
Yooo multiply zoom Log scale can you dig it             Log scale it h.fields
I agree with Vitim linear scale is pretty weird So much space is wasted and all the detail squeezed into the bottom third of the screen Not good             Needs logarithmic frequency scale MusashiAharon
There s no logarithmic scale which makes this app useless Add a toggle button to chance from linear to log scale and it will be 5 stars             Linear scale makes it useless Vitim
Superb                     Works very well Bennett Brown
You can make awesome youtube vids with this                     Youtube perfect Stonts
I used it to find the frequency of our school s bell system Have left 3 classes early already                     Sweet App 
Does not work smoothly in real time Linear graph wastes too much space on hi freqs Not detailed enough in low range to be useful for music If pay version allows zoom in and log then that might be worth it Spectrogram is OK I m dumping this app         get the pay version EE Musician
I thought this would be great for setting up my sound system but the frequency scale is only linear which is useless for audio Will this be fixed         Great start but kind of useless without log axis unfrostedpoptart
Been a great app A Nice feature would be for people using this for music to weight the chart differently Basically 0 1khz takes up nearly half the screen and 10k 20k only takes up the last 6th Basically in music you need more fine control and understanding of lower frequencies because of how octaves work Otherwise been a good app                 Great but needs to be charted differently That Guy that Attends
Love this app Officially proves that my whistling range reigns supreme among my coworkers The zoom in frequency feature is cool zoom in time would also be great Just got the update on my iPhone 4 and everything seems to be working fine Didn t see the issues other reviewers were pointing out                     Whistlers Anonymous Rainmaker 420
This is only a trial version to get half of the features described you need to buy it Pretty glitchy too audio starts playing over speaker if headphones are in place     Terrible Mech. Engineering student
The old versions were great The last few updates are pretty bad It now take a long time to start up the UI is sluggish even on an iPhone 5 They added a bunch of useless features The worst part is the audio sensitivity of the program has changed somehow             Old versions were great Jamesgor13579
Does not work on iPad 2 sw 5 1 1     Does not work on iPad 2 sw 5 1 1 Miccaell
Crashing at start up on an iPad 3 with iOS 5 1 1 The previous version was working fine Please fix or revert to previous version     Version 1 1 2 crashing Packer fan in Spokane
Great app Only thing I dont like is how when alternating between portrait and landscape the spectragraph resets If it was continuous it d give it 5 stars                 Worthy of its favorable rating 473156893784
Not bad for free similar software which enables you to see real time speech spectrums is very expensive It maps your speech frequencies slowly and they are a bit grainy but thrilled to have an app to add to my toolkit             Ohio SLP Ohiospeechpath
Worked good before iPhone 4S OS 6                 Crashes after last up date NoName1222111
I have had no problems with this app until the dreaded update Now it crashes every time it is opened     Worked great until the update hahaha16
I loved this app until it crashed every time I opened it Not sure if it was the new update but fix this ASAP Otherwise the application is very well made         Loved it Betamu
Seems to work well but not having a logarithmic scale makes it rather useless Looking forward to an update         Disappointing Nobuss
I ve had it for 5 minutes and already used it to find the source of some destructive resonance in an industrial machine I d love to be able to crop the graph a bit For instance change the graph to show only 2kHz 2 7kHz                     Great I love it Skifter
Likes adjustable sampling rate adjustable frequency spectrum Dislikes time labels seem backwards Oldest data are at the zero point Desires logarithmic frequency scale 3D display                 Difficult to beat for the price Cello Daddy
It s a fun toy but without a logarithmic frequency scale it is not useful for finding frequencies where voices and instruments will produce them         A fun toy but ChristyRandall
This is a nice little app and very sensitive considering I m using built in mic at the moment I will give 5 stars once there is an option to load saved recordings                 Almost Great Red Tick
I have used it to show my students correct pronunciation they watch it and try to copy                     It s great for articulation therapy too specialappssk
If you plan to use this legitimately you will be disappointed The analyzer is too jumpy and very difficult to read made harder by the fact you cant zoom in on specific areas The frequency spectrum will change depending on how you set the sample rate which makes sense but is kinda rediculous since you always want the highest quality for accurate readings And the way the frequencies are laid out on the bottom not by Hz but by kHz makes it especially difficult to read and narrow down a specific frequency That being said the spectrograph is much better and easier to read however it is still laid out by kHz You get what you pay for This thing is worth free         It s ok for free Iser27391
This app is rocks I applause makers because their effort to great functions                     Cool daraeman
This app shows the frequencies of sound from the microphone Whenever I show it to friends they start humming or buzzing or whistling into the mic to see the graph change Like a kinect it tends to bring out goofy ness in people It s like a microscope for sound you can see things that were invisible and everything is worth looking at waiting to be discovered Some sounds I ve looked at Cat purring meowing compared to a person making the same sound Power drills electric motors Guitar plucked many different styles Vowel sounds ah eh ee oh oo Doppler shift waving the iPad iPhone near the sound source Cheese grater Penny whistle recorder                     Hours and hours and hours of fun TheophilusAustin
